• Can not sync computer Pocket T5 Palm memos

  When I hot sync my Tungsten T5, memos will not sync not on my handheld. Everything syncs fine. I even deleted and reinstalled the CD T5 nothing helps. Any suggestions?

  Yes, you will need to check your settings from the hotsync Manager. To do this, you will need to locate your hotsync Manager icon in the lower right of your computer.   I'm running Windows 7 32 bit and I am able to hot synch my Palm TX including Adobe Reader, pTunes and Documents to go 11.0.  I do it natively to Windows 7.  However, to download another program.

  You install the Palm desktop software that came with your Palm T / X normally.  After that is done, install the Palm Desktop 6.2 on top of it.  There is no category and some other features of the original color coding, but at least it works.

  Given that hotmail had salvation plundered by outlook I can now see my contact list on my computer (I want to change on the computer, because it is easier now, my eyesight is not so good)

  Try to right click on the shortcut for Palm Desktop, and then select "Run as Administrator".  See if the data returns.

  For some unknown reason, my Palm software died and we had to re - install. He is asked to select a user who is empty.

  My question how do I get safe Palm software on my computer to my phone? I can't risk losing all the data on my phone.

  For me it looks like you will need to do a clean uninstall of the software.

  For this first, go into your control panel and then add / remove programs then Palm's then uninstall / remove.

  Next deletion open your my computer > C: Local drive / > Program Files > delete the Palm folder.

  Next click on start then click on Run. Type regedit and press ENTER.

  * NOTE: BE CAREFUL IN CASE OF REGISTRY AND DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT DELETE EVERYTHING EXCEPT WHAT IS ON THIS LIST. IF THE BAD THINGS ARE DELETED THIS CAN SERIOUSLY HARM YOUR COMPUTER AND OPERATING SYSTEM. Take your time and triple check that you are deleting the correct items.

  Remove the following entries (if any):

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S. Robotics\Palm quick installation

  Transfer of files Robotics\PalmOne HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\U.S.

  Hello.  I would like to please, help, reinstalling v4.2.2 on my BB Curve 8310 phone.  I updated yesterday to 4.5 after receipt of the notification of the RIM.  I like some of the applications & tools news, but for some reason any now my ringtones & alerts sound tinny and are too weak.  Frankly, I don't like that & it does not work for me.  It's like I put it on medium and low in some cases & I put them at the top.  So I would appreciate any help you can provide me with me back to the v.4.2.  I reloaded the software from the disc and the web on the computer then tried to sync w / the phone, but it does not work.  I know that I miss something here and make me a little frustrated.

  Hello.  Once again.  Long story short, it was inexplicable coincidence.  The problem was with the download of the software.  I have my ringtones & alerts back to what they were originally.  There is a big difference.  After my last post yesterday, a few times my curve is a not sound at all and then he did, so I contacted AT & T today.  After that they gave me the runaround, I contacted BlackBerry to see how much it would cost me for repair.  It turned out that the person of 'BB Technical Support' AT & T transferred to the departure is not a direct employee of BB, just a tech trained at BB.  After that I told them all, BlackBerry out of their way to help me solve my problem.  And I don't even have a stink in this regard.  I told them that I wanted to just the phone repaired.  Period.  So Bravo to George to the BlackBerry for having been so patient and helpful!  Thank you for taking the time to try to help me here, too.  I learned other interesting things I can do with my curve in this forum!  So I will mark as resolved.  I hope it's appropriate.

• Fellowes computer Pocket mice are more recognized

  Hi, I have a Fellowes laptop mouse that connects via the USB port. I had trouble w / it stops working, but I was able to deal with it by changing the ports.
  Now - he says USB device not recognized ". It will not work on a port. I use an HP Mini laptop.
  The part # on the mouse is FDM - G51. I got it for about 4 months, and it's the 3rd I've had exactly like this. Others lasted for many years.
  I tried to find a driver for it but can't. The only mouse listed on my control panel is the synaptics on the phone pad.
  What can I do? I have carpal tunnel syndrome, and this mouse is very useful for me. I guess I should add that it came from Taiwan, when I ordered it, and I can't find it on the site of Fellowes.

• Have the new computer with Windows 7, Palm m105 and 4.1.4 new Office of palm, trying to synchronize correctly.

  With the new computer, I had to add a converter Series USB cradle hot synch. I spent most of the day trying to get the new converter series to be recognized so that synchronization can be performed. It will now sync when I put the Palm in the cradle. After installing 4.1.4 in order to get it all to work, I took a recent version of historicalbackup of my palmOne program files folder in the Program folder files and replace the entire folder with my historical version. When I open the software desktop, all my data seem to be there, except that a lot of my previous entries in the calendar are now three hours earlier that they used to be and some are moved to a day. My Palm keeps the correct information, but synchronize custom crush data from the office with your handheld data produces no change, even though he went through a time synchronization process. I have also an old computer that has a copy of full backup of everything and the palm software in that one works correctly, then what should I do to correct the data in my calendar on my new laptop?

  Thanks, lucky me, I had no registry after files talk to the guy at my store of the computer support and to find out how long it would take for them to support me on this company.   I did another installation of my software, and this time first of all imported data in the calendar.   It was enough to get the palm m105 sync with the computer and a couple of sync later (with the handle of the substitution of office), the victory was mine.   The data is now properly input and not duplicate!  So, it looks like to annoy a little, you can get this all works with Windows 7.   I'll post an update after a few weeks of experience with the Palm on this computer.

  Thanks for your help cygnusX1.   And let the folks at palm know that there is still a lot of pda users here who would like to be able to upgrade to pda better, not smartphones.    I don't know what I'll do once my m105 bites the dust.    If you have any ideas as to what improvements to consider in the future, I'm all ears.

• How can I syn my Palm Zire 31 with my Iphone?

  Hello.  I need the directions step by step on how to transfer all my information (Contacts, calendar, etc.) of my Palm of my Iphone.  Is it possible that I can change the timing on my Palm as the infrared transfer it directly onto my Iphone somehow?  Or can I plug something into my Palm to connect directly on my Iphone to download Pocket computer?  I just got my Iphone and am not happy now that I can't enter all my info.  Can someone help me step by step instructions I can print and use?  I would really appreciate it!

  The next step would be to check and see if local USB is checked in Hotsync Manager. Do a right click on the Hotsync icon next to your PC clock and look up and if local USB is checked. If Yes, then we must look in your device manager to see if your Palm device is correctly seen by your PC.

  Do that on your computer right click on my computer. And then select Properties. From there, select hardware, then Device Manager tab. Then try to hotsync. See if device Palm, Palm Smartphone, handheld computer Palm appear in this list. If it does and you see a yellow question mark or a red exclamation point. Right-click on the component and select uninstall. And then disconnect, restart your PC and try another USB port until you synchronize.

• Confusion of conduit - Palm TX on Vista

  Have I'm in a mess and I'm afraid of losing the years log data. My wife has used the Palm trees for years and has been modified by using a T3 with the Palm Desktop software. It started to show its age and we decided to bite the bullet and go into Windows Mobile way with Vista Mobile Device Center. This has proved to be a bit of a disaster and no bases itself. I noticed that Palm TX was still available, so decided to return to the fold of the Palm. After the steps very careful the transfer to the new TX has been reached with the Palm Desktop (now called Access) synchronization and everything seemed fine but Hot Sync failed in the middle of synchronization Databook. The PC froze and only a firm forced me out of it. On the theory that the desktop PC file was corrupted, I installed the desktop software on my own Vista machine to get a copy of the data out of the TX. Yet once synchronization does not so I'm stuck.

  Looking at the confuguration Hot Sync I noticed he conducted are checked for Databook and calendar, as well as Contacts and addresses. I thought that these names are synonyms, so I'm confused.

  Can anyone shed light on this matter and a guide to get out?

  There may be the database at the source of the problem. Click on the following link for the program called DbFixiT. This program has a trial version that you can download and install on your Palm OS device. The trial version will search the database and then to declare the corruption. You can then search records at the origin of the problem and fix them yourself or you can buy the program and do it automatically repair records.

  To install the program to the TX, set the conduit in Hotsync manager to do nothing, so it does not block on all categories of PIM.
