Panel before printing by clicking a Boolean

Hello world

I need that a user can print the front just by clicking a button in the front panel.

Apparently, I need to use reporting ==> easy print Panel VI + a Boolean button.

But I have no idea how to make the connections. My code is in a time loop. Where should I connect the inputs 'VI path' or 'content' for example and then how connect the Boolean button? (I want to just print the front panel)
(I've seen using manual on ni.com, but it didn't really help me...)

Thanks for your help

Best regards

You just connect path a class VI to the simple Board VI (path of the entrance VI) print. And that's all. It prints the VI façade on the default printer.

If you cannot use the structure of the fair event place a structure of housing and wire your button print selector. Make first print to the default printer with the default settings and then starts to play with things like content.

  • Open the Panel before Subvi in the executable

    Hello

In my labview project the MainVI contains about 20 subVIs. My goal is that by clicking on a button on the Panel before the main VI I would open a special Subvi (assuming it to be sub - VI, 10). To do this in the labview development environment, I used a reference of openVI with its path of entry is the name of the VI vi I want to throw (Subvi 10), and then set a real constant on the front panel to bring up the control panel front of the Subvi. This works well in the labview development environment, but when I create an executable file I'm not able to open my Subvi. I looked around, on the knowledge base and found this article.

http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/24F54CF34391074D862570E6005857DE. But this talk article to launch the front each time the Subvi is called. This does not work in my case, because sometimes the user may not want to launch the Subvi. I also have a lot of controls and indicators on the Subvi, so there is no way I can get that on the main VI as she would not clutter on the main VI.

In the property settings for the building of the executable under the category of settings of the Source file, I see the option Panel before removing the dependencies, but it does not set the option for the Subvi individually. Only together, I can remove the front panel for all content items.  If no help on how to solve this problem is greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to use static references VI instead of using 'VI open' with a file path?  With a static reference VI, the compiler has a better idea on what you are trying to accomplish during the execution.

I did it in before executables without any problem.  Personally, I like having a Boolean input of the Subvi, called "Display window" (or something like that) and then have the Subvi manage how it wants to open (or close) front panel.

It has more than this past... the code snippet a little caught of freedoms.

It is within the Subvi (which my main VI is still running).  The Subvi has a static reference to himself.  I have a button on the front of my VI main panel when you press on sends a 'true' to Boolean entry "display window.  The Subvi responds by opening the front panel upward. The opposite happens when the button is pressed.

This code was compiled in many executables and works without any problem.

Edit: Image cropped.  This Boolean coming is "First Call".  The function retrieves LV 2009 done this 'error 2' terminal.  Laughing out loud.  I wouldn't name which.

  • After installation clean on a new processor, preview before print still crashes FF

Print Preview worked fine on the old computer, but on the new, he always causes Firefox to crash. This happens if I use the 'Print Preview' command separate from the drop file, or use the button print in the toolbar that opens automatically in the preview. Both the old and new computers use Windows 7 as operating system. Other programs can do a preview before print very well, it's not likely to be the printer driver or the printer. Is there a solution?

    Hello

Right click on the image file, select open with. The number of options will be programs such as paint, Image Viewer, possibly others. Try different programs, looking for options like edit, rotate, flip in what program opened. After the rotation of the image, save it.

How can I stop my HP Officejet 6700 Premium printing a page history report before printing each new document, using Windows 7 and using Microsoft Word? When I open a document and print it, it prints a story, including: name of file. Directory; Model; Title; Topic; Key words; Comments; Creation Date; Number of change; Last record last record by. Total editing; Last impression on; As last impression...

Everything worked perfectly for a year, then I had to reinstall the printer because I deleted it by mistake. I cary it with me when I travel to meetings, and didn't have my installation disc, so I had to download the installation software. I haven't changed all settings for Word, but it seems that the report is generated from Word.

Help will be appreciated. I can't find any other subject like mine to see a solution already presented.

    Hello

The report has indeed generated by Word and not the pritner driver.

As you did not specify your version of MS Office, I have included the steps for Word 2010, I think that the same should also apply for Word 2007:

    1. From within Word, click on the file menu, and then select Options.
    2. Select the view in the left pane.
    3. The chapters of the Printing Options, uncheck the box next to print document properties.
    4. Click OK and try printing again.

If you can't find the specific option, please specify your exact version of Microsoft Wiord.

  • P1102 - why I have to press the power button before printing

    Hello

I was wondering if anyone else knows how to avoid this problem. We have a P1102 connected via USB on Win 7 64 bit.

Is there a setting somewhere that allows us to not have to press the power button on the printer before printing. It is now connected to the pc. The pc is turned off at night.

It is very annoying to have to push the button before printing. This may sound trivial, but our old Hp laserjet 1100, only has been replaced with this P1102 as the new pc have no place for a parallel port card, and you never had to press the power button before printing with that, this feels like a step and is very disappointing.

    Thanks in advance.

It seems that the printer software is not save the auto power off feature is set to never.  I would definitely try update the internal firmware of the printer to see if updating automatic stop is set to never work.

Click here to access the download page for the Laserjet Firmwares.  Select the P1100 series in the drop-down list.

This should be done so that a USB cable to connect the printer and the PC.  I would like to know if the firmware is able to get the printer to stay alive.

  • Pavilion 15-ab173cl: Menus and drop-down lists close before I can click on

Any menu or drop-down to open menu closes before I can click on options. Happens if I right click on the screen to see the menu, right-click on any applications programs in the start menu to see options, when I'm in a browser and click on a drop down menu, etc. They all disappear until I can get a good look at all the options, or click on one.

To select the options of "Operating System" for that matter and "choose the jury...". ", I had to click the menu drop down and then quickly use my arrow down to begin paging through the options. It's the only way I could get the drop down menu to appear for more than a second or two.

Welcome to the HP support community where you can ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I read your post on the Forums to Support HP and wanted soft hand for you.

Have you tried to plug in an external mouse and see if it happens too?

Have you tried to see if it occurs in Mode safe?

Have you done the updates of Windows?

Have you tried to use the HP Support Assistant?

The best document I have for TouchPad problems is the use and troubleshooting of the TouchPad and ClickPad document. Go to mouse properties and "restore all defaults" then apply, and restart your laptop.

Please ensure that all your updates are done also. I saw him in the past where it happened because an update does not pass.
