• It is this iPhone in particular that is buggy...

  I've recently been on Tumblr and saw a post that says how to improve the battery life of the iPhone so I thought I'd do some tweaking just to give it a shot, but it made my phone simply ugly and I think my battery life is very good even when , so I reset most of the settings. Not all of them. Then the new iOS 10 out and since I am not opposed to change I decided I would update but for days and days, I waited for my phone to inform me about this and he just never did, and I had to do it manually. Now there's a 10.0.2 iOS I think and it is doing the same thing and I had to find out just for me. This phone is weird stuff, but that's for another post, I guess.

  Usually your phone not tells you an update at least a few days, but it can be longer. The only time where I put on an update until my phone advised me was the initial version of the iOS 9, which was slightly less than two days later. I consider myself a tech nerd, so naturally I've followed a lot of what's going on with Apple products, this is how I learn about updates within minutes of public broadcasting. Once a software update is released, it is available for all supported devices and if each device compatible iOS immediately received a notification, more people would update at the same time and which would slow the update from Apple servers even more that they are already to major releases. You are not notified immediately in order to spread out the number of people updating. There is no you can change the settings related to the purpose of the notification of the iOS updates.

• Adding a suffix to a file using applescript

  I use a drop/app to add a suffix to name my file. I would like to add the word '_THUMBNAIL' before the file extension. Currently, it leaves the file extension, add _THUMBNAIL and add the extension again. I know not part of it has to do with the line "& name extension of aFile ', but it's the only way that I could do to have the extension after the addition of text. Here is the script below:

• How can I associate with a particular build in a slide stage?

  I have a slide with 78 Animation build stadiums.  I have links to other slides provide more information with LINK to a SLIDE. However, I can't find a way to post a link to a particular stage of build in the slide, I just left. Is there a way to "LINK TO SLIDE 7 BUILD 48" for example? This would allow me to return to the same stage of the construction of the animation I just left with the LINK on.

  Keynote doesn't have the ability to link to a build. Keynote cannot bind to a specific slide in a presentation.

  The workaround is to bind to another slide that contains objects you need displayed, with others together to animate.  Which of course isn't possible for a small number of related slides, the permutations to cover each generation on a slide is unmanageable.

• Why my iMessage crash everytime I message a particular number?

  My iMessage crashes whenever I try to message for a particular contact. Why does this happen? I rebooted, deleted and readded the contact and it still crashes. Help!

  Hi Mozilla, this is the site http://www.deccanherald.com/. When I opened 8 or more tabs on this site, Firefox gets lag. I right click on a link and choose to open a new tab, there is a delay of a few seconds before the right click menu appears and then another delay to open in a new tab when I'm scrolling down here are several delays and when I move from tab to tab still delays.

  When I visit this site even in Internet Explorer 11 I do not suffer any problem that it works very well. My card Alienware M14XR2 i7-3630QM, 8 GB of RAM, NVIDIA Geforce GT 650 M, Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 64-bit.

• Failed to open the particular folder in ThunderBird - v38.3.0

  Hi all

  I always get the error messages below when opening a particular file in my mailbox.

  "Cannot open file daily reports Mails because it is used by another operation. Please wait for this operation to the end, and then select the folder again. »

  Even if I opened this particular issue, I couldn't see all the mails which is already available in this folder also. Thunderbird & tried reboot without impact on the fact.

  Note: A symbol of the star is still visible on this particular issue because there are unread messages in it. (Screenshot below)

  Please guide me to get rid of this error and recover my emails in it.

  To diagnose problems with Thunderbird, try one of the following:

  • Restart Thunderbird with disabled modules (Thunderbird Safe Mode). On the Help menu, click "restart with disabled modules. If Thunderbird works as usual, there is an add-on or theme interfere with normal operations. You will need to reactivate the modules one at a time until you locate the offender.
  • Restart the operating system in safe mode with network. This loads only the basics needed to start your computer while allowing Internet access. Click on your operating system for instructions on how to start in safe mode: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, OSX

  If the safe mode for the operating system to resolve the problem, there are other software on your computer that is causing problems. The possibilities include but not limited to: AV scanning, virus/malware, background downloads such as updates of the program.

• A particular Web Site does not load

  A particular website does not load, and I was previously able to view this site about 2 weeks ago. It's a free WordPress site/blog.

  I keep getting the error message "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." I've tried deleting all cookies and emptying the cache with no success. I also tried a "DNS Flusher" with the same result.
  

  I followed all the recommendations on the link using Firefox and checked the FAQ and community sections with no luck.

  I can view the page in Safari. The owner of the website can view this website using a configuration similar to mine (Mac OS 10.5, Firefox 12.0).

  Nothing I know have changed since I was able to view this site 2 weeks ago for example, I'm not going through a proxy server, nor do I have any secondary security or anti-virus running.

  Any help would be appreciated.

• All of a sudden all my Active addons are evidence of a suffix of. 1-sign. Is - is this legitimate?

  This morning when I opened Firefox, plugins 3 or 4 have been updated. One of the plugin update pages (connected with the plugin Download Statusbar) suddenly passed to a page 'investigation' that actually proved to be an advertisement. On this achievement, I closed all open tabs

  Now, whenever my updated plugins up to date, I usually see down the latest version no. So I went to the page of the Add-ons Manager, where I was surprised to discover that the version no. of all my plugins installed have a suffix. 1 - signed. For ex, the plugin of BitDefender QuickScan, which was plus early 0.9.9.142, is now showing that 0.9.9.142.1 - signed (see the attached screenshot)

  The '. 1-sign "has been added to almost all of my Add-ons (extensions) assets; However it has not been added to one of the disabled plugins or any plugin which is not compatible with my current version of Firefox.

  Is this sudden addition '. 1-signed "to almost all my extensions valid and legitimate, or is it the result of a virus or malware?

  Yes.
  They decided to sign all the extensions that are hosted on the site of modules.
  This is appended to the extension to distinguish between unsigned extensions extensions.

  Is there a way to get information about a photo in particular - specifically, the albums the photo is part of?

  For example, if I look at a particular photo (considering trashing it), is there a way to know easily the albums contain this photo?
