Passing of video files from Lightroom 5 to first 10 items

Can I export video Lightroom 5 to first 10 Elements for editing?  The option "change in" seems to not work for video files - the options are grayed out.  I have no problem exporting still images to edit in Photoshop or first Elements 10.

Video files don't need to be exported from Lightroom. They are simply located in a folder on your computer. You can go to Premiere Elements and switch to this folder and use the video files. Or, you can use your browser in the system and copy video files to a convenient folder, as your Premiere Elements file organization methods.

bzunic, have you updated the firmware your model?

With my own game, (32RL900A), the notice said that some of the buttons of the remote control are "unused", however, after the first update of the firmware, the "unused" buttons have been used, (in our case, record, Time Shift and so on).

Is the reason why I talk about this, these features became available after an update of the firmware and not included in the manual of the user, in our case, and a subsequent download of the instruction manual for our model actually gave instructions for the use of these features, which have been presented as 'not available '. in the manual original instructions supplied with the TV, but became available after the update of the firmware.

Let us know how it works...

  • The Vixia HF G30 allows a direct copy of video files from an SD card on an external USB hard disk

I am considering buying a G30 and need to know if she will allow a direct copy of video files from an SD card on an external USB hard drive.  The manual is not clear on this point.

Not to my knowledge (I own a G30 HF).  There is no present on-the-go USB functionality.

Personally, I do not miss such a feature, because it causes all kinds of compatibility problems, especially with regard to the power of external USB hard drives. In addition, without any file manager, backup of your video files into a nightmare. I must admit that I am rather Cannon after not on an often incomplete function development budget and have it spent instead on the main features of the camera, such as optics. Of course, this is just my very subjective opinion, and other HF G30 clients may have different opinions on this.

In order to back up my video files on the fly and without having to carry a laptop, I recently bought a made by Hanso Hyperdrive colorspace UDMA2 and installed a 1 TB in her drive. When on the ground and after having taken my shots I just pop in my inside SD cards and the device of copies on the video files to 17Mbyte per second. At home, I plug in the UDMA2 in my Linux video workstation using a regular USB cable and pull the video from the mobile disk. The UDMA2 also did incremental backups and comes with a basic file manager. While it has a color screen, it can't play back video. It is a video and photo backup dedicated device, nothing more. But it does a decent job on exactly that.

  • Transfer video files from my JVC Everio camcorder problems

I am trying to transfer video files from my JVC Everio camcorder to my computer to play on windows media player - windows XP, but receive an error code: C00D11D1 say there are problems with my sound or images, but there is no update for windows media player?

It is a generic code and a lot of different solutions.

To help you, can you confirm that this is the sequence of events:

    * you transfer the video files to your PC
    * then you try to open them in WMP
    * gives the error message celebrates

You may well have a codec problem, that can be solved in 2 ways:

    * Download and use Gspot (Google for it). Drag the file in question on the small window which is Gspot and it will tell you what are the different audio and video codecs. Serach the web and download the forms.

    * Download and install a Cedec such as K-Lite package.

  • Hello! I can't embed a video file from a URL, an intelligentsia InDesign on-site?

Hello! I am trying to embed a video file from a URL in my document. I can download the video, then join her and she plays very well, but I'm doing a pdf file that will be distributed by e-mail, so there is no place for an attachment 111 MB! It must be the URL. However, when I try to make a link to the URL rather than the local file, I have the warning "Must reference a file compatible with Flash Player".

The video file is in mp4 format, so this should be OK? Here is a link to the file in question (and ideally the address I would like to make a link to as well): http://players.brightcove.net/1349401008001/default_default/index.html?videoId=13605447050 01

If the host is the problem, what could anyone recommend a compatible InDesign video hosting site? YouTube doesn't seem to work.

Any help is appreciated! Especially since this thing is due tomorrow and it's almost 22:00 here. Argh.

    Tom

You can try a dropbox folder, but my advice is to stop putting videos into PDF files. That's all just a bad format for this.

Tried to copy a too large video from my camera.  Message says 'current picture cannot be copied' when I looked up the answers in 'help' it says connect the camera using the (MSC) usb mass storage class, and then use windows Explorer to copy the image to computer.  Please help me understand this.  I have to download or update a driver to do this?  Should I buy something?  Please don't laugh, but I'm lost.  All those who take the time to give me some step by step instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Transfer of files from digital camera fails

    Symptom 3:

When you try to transfer a single large file from a USB PTP camera to local hard disk drive (HDD) using the scanner and Camera Wizard, the file transfer does not immediately, and you receive the following error message:

Scanner and camera Assistant the current image have not can be copied.
To copy this image, click "Try Again." To no longer deal, click "Cancel".

If you click Retry, returns the error message.

Problem 3 occurs because an error occurs in the scanner and Camera Wizard

    Resolution:
You can connect the camera using USB Mass Storage Class (MSC) instead of PTP. Then, transfer large files using Windows Explorer.

When you connect your camera, it can map device memory as a player external and it give a letter under 'Computer' OR it can be configured to do this in the configuration menu of the camera.  Once you have a drive letter assigned under 'Computer' for the camera, locate the drive in question for the file you want and copy to your computer to office/etc in the same way you would any other file.

  • Moving video files from digital camera, date taken does not save

On Win7 Pro I'm having a problem where when I move the files from my digital camera Canon or my Sony digital camcorder to HDD the date taken on the videos aren't save. It defines at the time I moved the hard disk instead. It comes to all the dates in the properties.

It's only when I copy the video files keep everything file photo.

This happens when I copy files directly from the camera or the SD card

All the files on the camera are correct but none of those on the hard drive.

Ok. I had trouble to transfer photos from my old computer to my new computer.  The dates and times on the pictures changed.

I finally got the moved and kept the correct dates on each photo.

    That's what I did:

    1. I opened the 'Pictures' folder on the old computer and click on "Select all" under the tab 'Edit' at the top.

    2. then I went to the "Edit" tab and choose "move to folder".

    3. in the next window, called '' Elements to move, '' I found the file that I wanted to move the photos to and selected this folder and then clicked on "move".

    4. all photos have been transferred to the new computer with the date and time correct.

    5. However, this deletes all photos from the old computer.  But I do not really need them on the old computer since I will be recycling with Dell.

We sincerely hope that this information helps someone else, since I had a hard time finding how to do this task.

    Good luck.
