If it helps, this machine is 1 Pentium / 133 MHz I think, originally only 16 MB of RAM (but upgraded to 144 MB). Many things to run one of the new compact Linux distributions!

  As far as I know that your Tecra is supplied with a module of non-removable 16 MB of RAM and a spare expansion slot in which you can install up to 128 MB expansion RAM. The NW2042U is the correct plug-in for your laptop.
  This will give you a total 144 MB RAM.

  What RAM module did you remove? You must leave the original 16 MB in place and simply install the new 128 MB module in the expansion slot.

  Be sure to take the steps of antistatic neceaasry before handling the RAM module.
