  get a just-in-time debugging message that says 'new instance of Microsoft Script Editor.  You want to debug using the selected debugger? "This box just keeps popping up.

  Control Panel > Internet Options > advanced. Check "Disable Script debugging (Internet Explorer)" and "disable (other) Script debugging." Apply/OK outside.

  If that doesn't take care of the issue, in the debugger itself:

  1. use the Tools menu, and then click Options.
  2. in the Options dialog box, select the Debugging folder.
  3. in the file debug, select just-in-time page.
  4. in the "enable just-in-time debug these code types" box, clear the check boxes next to Managed, native, and Script *. Click OK.

  * On a client computer with this problem, I was not able to delete any of these items (can't remember which), but other areas of compensation took care of the issue. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

I deleted the Visual Studio 2008 out of my computer because I was not using it. I can not as up-to-date Microsoft essentials.   (a) open Internet Explorer. Go to tools, Internet Options. Click the Advanced tab and make sure below mentioned options enabled.

  ·         Disable Script debugging (Internet Explorer)

  (b) click on apply and Ok.

  3. click on continue in the UAC prompt.
   
  4. in regedit, go to:
   
  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Script\Settings\JITDebug
   

  5. the value of REG_DWORD type must be set to '0' to disable debugging.

  
  6. close regedit.
   
  7 logoff and logon or restart the computer to apply the changes

• set timing on (just need time and no data)

  is anyway to get the time from a sql instructions for how long it works... just the time data only... not... I know using "set"timing"on" on sqlplus... it gives me data + time... but I'm looking for only sometimes... need that data... which option to use? As the use of SET AUTOTRACE ON STATISTICS it gives me the stats with no plans to explain... I need something where I just need time... and not data... . How is that possible?

• The update of the firmware bricked just my time capsule.

  I followed the prompt to update the firmware today and I got a 'did not finish' message type. (I don't remember what it was because I just clicked on past)

  'The airport' (which is my Time Capsule) is now Undiscoverable. I rebooted all the usual culprits (router, computers, time capsule) and did a hard reset on the time capsule itself, but still can not find airport utility "" my TC.

  Now, I'm stuck in a dystopian nightmare of the 1980s with all the promises of technology and yet none of its features.

  Help!  (I write from my phone. A device that I've recovered from the future)

  If you Hard Reset the TC, it is normal that AirPort Utility cannot find the TC... given that AirPort utility displays only devices of the airport that have already been configured.  The TC is not configured, so it's a Station of Base AirPort "nine" with the default settings.

  Start over and set up the TC to help "Assistant" Installation of Apple on your Mac or your iPhone / iPad.  After the back if you need some advice on this.
