Paste as hyperlink

Hello, Simple question but has bugged me for a long time using Firefox. When paste the links from a Web site to tell Yahoo mail, unlike knowledge text doesn't convert or be recognized as a link or a hyperlink, so when the recipient receives the e-mail message, they must copy and paste the text of the link in the URL bar. It's even more annoying if the recipient uses a tablet. Using for example is never a problem as a copy and paste car recognizes it as a link and go blue and underline text, etc. Even to paste into MS: Word. I have Windows XP and another PC with Windows 7 and is the same problem on the two operating systems. I am not a COMPUTER technician but I am, obviously missing something somewhere simple. Can anyone help? Thank you very much, Pete.

There is usually a bar of buttons with buttons for formatting such as Bold and Italic text just above the text area where you compose and edit the text of the message.

This toolbar can also have a button to activate a clickable hyperlink text link (look for a string like button).

You can select the link text and click on this button to activate the link into a clickable hyperlink.

If you can not find the button, and then move all the to check the ToolTip of each (for example to insert a hyperlink).

  • How to copy a hyperlink and make moving image work

    Hi all

I created a hypertext navigation, rather like a table of contents, for our presentation of the iPad and we would like to have on individual items on each page. It is quite large, so it is in a floating, accessed framework since a MSO (Menu button). It works great on the first article, but when I copy and paste the DSO for master pages for the other articles, none of them work.

I work in InDesign 5.5. I understand that I can create buttons with the navto: / / command, all with the text of the group block and who enter as part of content to have a navigation scroll, and the buttons with navto controls are less likely to break, but is there something else I forget?

It seems illogical that can not copy and paste as hyperlink folio names and page numbers have not changed. However, I note that InDesign assigns a number after the name hyperlink in the hyperlinks Panel. I tried to rename the hyperlink to its original name (with no number) and it adds a different number at the end.

I'll probably start course button, but I thought it was a valid discussion to begin.

Thanks a lot for your time ~.

So, I thought about it. Hope this helps someone else because it took me HOURS to fix.

I deleted all of the hyperlinks in the control panel and went on the creation of each of them from scratch, using the hyperlinks - new icon link at the bottom - so that I have the option to deselect the 'shared target of hyperlink' which is always checked, unless you uncheck the box, simple, gosh darn link.

(They might mention this bit of info somewhere. I sure couldn't find.)

    Worked like a charm. Hallelujah.

  • AppleScript to create the thumbnail of the file selected with hyperlink to the URL of the file

    Hello

I need an AppleScript script to copy to the Clipboard a thumbnail of a selected file (s. picture 1 below) with a hyperlink to the URL of the selected file.

I have a script that allows me to get the URL of the file and copy it to the Clipboard. But then I have to paste the URL into my Document, back to the finder, make a screenshot of the thumbnail of the file, paste this screenshot and enter the URL (manually copy) of the file (choose the context menu of the image) (s. image 2 below):

Is there a way to automate this?

I could do the screenshot manually, this is actually no problem, but then I would need to attribute this screenshot on a Clipboard 1, go back and get the URL of the file and attribute it to Clipboard 2 and then go to my document and paste Clipboard 1 first, chose the menu popup "hyperlink" and the Clipboard paste 2.

    Kai - Uwe,

OpenOffice or LibreOffice aren't outwardly scriptable with AppleScript or Automator, as to exclude these two applications that support. They are inwardly Python scriptable via their respective SDK.

I became aware of a solution of AppleScript that invites for the input file, then uses a custom (port) application that uses QuickLook to generate an image thumbnail jpg to your specified output destination. I added a line of AppleScript that sends the URL of the file to the Clipboard.

After running the script, I can paste the URL of the document in LibreOffice and follow by drag and drop the jpg thumbnail afterwards.

Do you want me to post the directions for this solution. In its current form, it is not written for processing batch.
