PAV 14 14-v148ca laptop: no sound on my TV via HDMI cable more

I used to have the sound on my TV, I tried 2 HDMI cables still nothing.

I tried to download the links drivers on a separate thread, I found, my laptop does not support.

I have the video, no sound on my TV when the hdmi cable is connected.

In the sounds/reading frame, there is only speaker hp and helmet, no television while the cable is connected.

Please help, this laptop is 5 months old... Didn't!

On a separate note, why this portable plant so? Because of the Hexacore?

I click with the right button in the playback window / audio, and click disabled devices. Voila, corrected!

    Hello:

In the section of sound from the Control Panel, when you click on manage Audio devices, you see two choices?

You should.  You should see your integrated audio system (Soundmax) and your HDMI (which should be your AMD HD Audio device).

You must have this current option in order to have your HDMI audio to work.

If it is not present, I recommend you to only visit the Web of AMD site to download and install the latest drivers and the catalyst control center. This package should include the HDMI audio.

Use the drop down menu to choose the drivers you need:

  • Display problem laptop computer connecting to the TV via HDMI

I have a Satellite L500 - 19 X and when I connect the laptop to my Sony's Bravia TV, the screen is constantly restless.

I tried to change the refresh rate, but that did not help. The HDMI cable should not be the problem, because it works very well with my Xbox. The problem is there for both in dual display and expand options display.

Someone else has the same problem and found a solution?

    Thank you

    Hi Ashley... B,

Thank you for visiting Microsoft Answers.

Which version of Windows Vista is installed on your computer?

    1. first you need a video cable to make the physical connection. For a better image quality, you must connect to the computer to the TV using standard VGA ports or via DVI to HDMI cable provided your TV supports these ports.
    2. open the "display settings" in your Vista computer and activate the output to the TV screen. You can reflect the content of your computer on the TV or extend the display as a double screen control.
    3. pick up your TV remote and switch to "External inputs" in the menu. You need to change the value by default "Video 1" to a different selection which may be "HDMI 1" or "video 2" depending on how you made the connection. "
Important: Make sure you connect the cable to the TV before turning on the computer, because sometimes it may not recognize the external display.
You may also change the resolution of your TV screen using the display settings in your panel of control remains the image may appear distorted.

  • Computer Dell laptop doesn't detect the TV via HDMI connection.

I have a Dell Inspiron N5110 with Windows 7 and a Samsung TV. Whenever I plug my HDMI cable, the only thing I see on my TV screen is No Signal. It is on the correct entry, but my computer still does not recognize the second monitor.
I have connected my laptop to a front projector, and it worked fine.

I had problems connecting my laptop before and then finished by needing a new hard drive... So I now have a new hard drive (cool!) but I can not determine what the problem... In devices, Graphics Manager, it says Intel(r) HD Graphics Family and Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. The other has a small yellow triangle with an exclamation point, but when I ask Windows to see if it's updated, it says that Windows has determined that it is up-to-date.

    Help, please!

I had the same problem as you. Initially, I went to dell drivers

    http://www.Dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/product-support/product/Inspiron-15R-n5110/drivers

video and downloaded the driver Intel HD Graphics 3000, but that wasn't enough. Yet once my HDMI has not been recognized. I had to also download the same file, the nVIDIA GeForce GT 525 M Graphics Driver (it was my graphics card, if you have the ATI card you download driver ATI). When I installed the last, I was ready to go... Download and install these two drivers and you will solve this problem!

  • ENVY 17-j053ea: no sound on TV connected to the laptop via HDMI

When my laptop is connected to my TV via HDMI computer laptop if poster on the TV but the sound is played if the laptop speakers and not the TV.

I had this problem since I bought the laptop in October 2013, while she was running Windows 8, it is now running Windows 10, which actually has no difference.

I tried to update the drivers of graphics card (NVIDIA GeForce GT M 740), Intel HD Graphics 4600 graphics card and speakers. If I'm in the playback devices, that the TV does not, even when it is set to display disabled and disconnected devices, but I do not know why.

I know that the problem is something to do with my laptop and not on cable TV or HDMI because it works with 2 other laptops in my house, and the TV is shown as an audio device on both.

Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

OK, this driver must have worked.

Just click on this folder 7-zip created because I want to show you where to find the driver.  We will now try to force the installation.

Click on the file and it will show several records.  Click the DisplayAudio folder.

Then, there are two folders inside this one.  Click on the top a list (6.16.00.3178).

Then click on the configuration file IntcDAud and you will see the driver for the hardware ID you have posted.

    HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_8086 & DEV_2807 & SUBSYS_80860101.

    Close to this now.

Go to Device Manager and click again on the HD audio device.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

Select the browse my computer for driver again software option, but this time at the bottom of this window, select the let me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.  Then click on disk and browse the right to this configuration information IntcDAud file and see if the driver will be installed in this way.

If this is the case, restart the PC.  If it is not, unfortunately, I have no idea why this driver not install because it must have worked using the first method.

But this lack of driver, that's why you have no audio from the HDMI out port.
