Pavilion 15-p233TU laptop: laptop makes his pop then restarts by itself

A few minutes after that my laptop turns on it's a small "pop" sound and the screen goes black, then it starts to light up again. I connect fine and it loads my desktop then it turns off again in a few minutes.

Before the first time it happened, a message came when I turned on before Windows started loading a word on the BIOS and asking if I wanted to restart but I don't remember the details. I did nothing and he focused on marketing very well while the problem started to arrive 5 minutes later.

The laptop is 4 months old and the battery is fully charged. I tried to use it while charging and there is no difference.

Now I can't seem to turn on at all

@Tess_Tickles,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forums.  That pop sound is a component on the map to reach a limit and causing the system to go down.  This problem will require a repair.  Here is the link so that you can contact the correct service to the HP Support.

Contact HP support.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

My laptop makes buzzing noise while playing music or video on both headphones and speakers

    Hi @vineeth_7,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! A place where you can find solutions for your problems with the help of the community!

I stumbled upon your post on the laptop and wanted to help you! I looked in your question about your HP Pavilion 15-b000 Sleekbook sizzling/buzzing noise. You can try:

    1. right click the speaker icon in the lower right corner of your time.
    2. click on playback devices.
    3. click on the speakers.
    4. click on properties.
    5. click on the Advanced tab in the Properties window.
    6. change the default menu Format in the highest quality.
    7. apply properties.
    8. click OK to close the Properties window. Restart your laptop and try the sound.

You can try to use theWindows Update Troubleshooter to fix updates that do not come through Windows.  Reboot the laptop twice to make sure that all updates are completed.

I recommend to restore the default BIOS settings. You could restore the BIOS withthis document by selecting the reload the default BIOS settings. This helped other people.

Please let me know how it goes.

  • Re: My laptop makes a lot of noise

Hi, my name is Akram, I come from the United States of America.

I got this Toshiba laptop last year, I have all the details it s bought in the UK and sold in Saudi Arabia.
Recently, since a month since my laptop makes a lot of noise can be the fan or the transformer.
    I'm a medical student, I t really know.

The noise is so boring that I put t carry the laptop to the library or College. Everyone in my class knows once I have started using my laptop if I take it, irritated by all the comments made by my friends. I took the laptop for repair, somehow, I browsed your site and received your Toshiba repair depot.

As I was in warranty until last week, I went to computer services of DATA VISION, 39th street, New York City, but to add to my problem the people he said he just cleaned up and said what he of done. But the problem is the same.

I had to go again, then he said that all laptops Toshiba make these noises. Isn't annoying to know this?
If it true s all Toshiba laptops make these noises, I beg you literally.

Please, make not of the more portable, it s really annoying to know and just Fellows try to convince me.
Nothing is managed best by Toshiba. I'm if unfortunate and disturbing why buy it.

There is no management what so ever.
Thanks I hope someone will never correct the problem, you can contact me on my mail id '[email protected] or [email protected] '.

    Hi mate

Welcome to our community of small notebook

Firstly if you are talking about a Toshiba laptop then you should post some details about your laptop. Who needs to know which model you have?

Second, I don't know what sound you hear you noise which is create by module cooling fans?

Just a comment in this regard:
    > As I was in warranty until last week, I went to computer services of DATA VISION, 39th street, new york city, but to add to my problem people there said he just cleaned and said its done. But the problem is the same. I had to go again, then he said that all laptops Toshiba make these noises.

I put t know if it s your first computer laptop or not, but if you're talking about the noise created by the cooling fan, then you must know that you would hear on all laptops cooling fans!
If the heat dissipation is higher, then the cooling modules must run faster and so the noise could be stronger. But you can also reduce noise if you define the CPU and modules cooling to a lower return. This may be down to the energy economy of Toshiba.

I have had three different notebooks from Toshiba in the past. Now I have Satellite U400 and I'm happy. Of course, I can hear the fans running but that's nothing unusual.

    Hello

Try disabling the hybrid Windows 8 start - you can do the following.

Right-click in the battery icon in the taskbar and select Power Options - in the next window, click on "Choose what the power button" in the left pane.

In the next window, click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" (close), then Remove the check mark from the box against 'Turn on a quick start (recommended) '.  Click on the button Save the settings, and then close open windows and stop the laptop by right clicking on the icon from the Start Menu, select prompt (Admin) and click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Type (or copy and paste) the following command (including spaces) and click Enter.

    Shutdown /s /t 0

Start the laptop and let Windows take over completely for a few minutes before checking if it is now shut down properly in the Start Menu.

If this has fixed the problem, it may be useful by turning the quick start back on - sometimes simply remove and re-create the file will solve the problem.

  • How to open the Pavilion g6-2210us laptop computer to install RAM?

I have a HP Pavilion g6-2210us laptop PC running Windows 8.  He came with the bar of 1 to 4 GB memory and has a foul slot up to 4 GB of RAM.  I bought another 4 GB module and intended to install today, but I don't know how to open the bottom of the computer to install the RAM.

I have a Compaq laptop that was new in July 2007 and he has a sign on the bottom that covers the compartment memory and a separate panel that covers the hard drive.  Each of these panels can be removed by loosening a few screws and pulling the top of the Panel.

But with this new HP Pavillion-2210us g6, I see a big sign which applies to sites of memory and hard drive.  And there is only one screw.  Everything simply loosen this screw does not allow the Panel to be raised.  So I suspect the slides Panel stop someway.   Can someone explain how the Panel is removed?

  • Pavilion 15 PC laptop: HP have their own version of Microsoft Office?

    Hello

I just bought my new HP laptop and have used the free version of Microsoft Word, have something similar that I can use to view documents HP

    Hi Bev,

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

HP doesn't have a free version of Office Word.

    ============================================================================

    WordPad

Windows with Microsoft WordPad, which is a bit like Word - sort of.  It's free.  You can copy Word content of the document in WordPad and, for the most part, the content will be the size in WordPad, so you can read and print the content.  You can create documents in WordPad.

    WordPad is not Word.

How to work with WordPad in Windows 7 and Windows 8

    ============================================================================

    LibreOffice

You can try the following free software (which can deal with traditional office documents).  Many people in the world use this software.

    LibreOffice

    ============================================================================

Microsoft Office - the 'real deal '.

If you can't live without 'real' office and some of us do not wish to make this break, then you can consider it it is time to invest in the real deal.  You don't have to buy this version.  Writing, the cost is about 140 $US for the "home and student" version of the software.

    Office home & student 2013

You can also check the subscription service offered for Office 365 - it's great for Tech and Mobile types.  Office 365 is probably well suited to an environment of work or research because of its flexible format.

    Hello

Yes, this notebook is compatible with the backlit keyboards. This is the manual of your laptop:

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c02657339.PDF

See the computer section of major components for the right part number and run the part number on ebay. You can also search on ebay for "dv6 backlit keyboard. Backlit keyboards there only for two sets or more.

    original title: laptop trouble

Good so recently on my laptop of his fathers has ' key stopped working and now he cannot get on his laptop because the password has a S in there. He tried to clean the key to bored all possible ways, and nothing works. He wondered if he had a Ctrl function that would allow him to put a s with the key or bypass the password lock. Also, it has no access to a USB keybored.

If the account in question was not the built-in account named Administrator, and then log on to that account and go to control panel > users to change the password.

The password for the administrator built-in account is blank (no password).

To connect to the built-in Administrator account:

Reboot safe mode: press F8 immediately after power on.  The administrator account is displayed on the homescreen mode without failure.
