  HP has monitors with standard VESA mounting holes. My suggestion: take it to the shop and swap for the one that supports standard VESA otherwise must a good skill and a good drill.

  I had the same problem when I upgraded my TouchSmart 320-1030. I got the touch screen works in this way:

  1. Press Windows + X logo.
  2. Select Device Manager from the list.
  3. Click on the small arrow next to Interface devices to expand the list.
  4. Click on the touch screen driver (in my case, Voltron NextWindow touch screen - your driver may be different).
  5. Right click and select Disable from the list.
  6. Click Yes in the dialog box that asks you if you are sure you want to disable the touch screen driver.

  Another option:

  1. Press Windows + X logo.
  2. Select Device Manager from the list.

  4. Click the driver.
  5. Right click and select Disable from the list.

  What iOS version do you use? What version of iTunes? If your touch screen does not work, have no way around that, unless you happened to have iCloud activated before this backup.   I have TouchSmart HP ENVY 15-j021tx. Recently, I refreshed its OS and installed HP OEM Version 8.1 of Windows.
  Now, it is completely up to date and I noticed that my touch screen works like a mouse.

  In devices, Interface devices Manager, there is an additional device installed namely Touch USB peripheral of entry.

  Uninstalling this device does everything is normal.

I had a strange dual screen (ie. a monitor and a TV), with windows 7, I got a new drive hard (Hitachi sister hard 1 TB SATAII 7200 RPM 32 MB Cache - OEM) and installed windows 7, I have no other hardrives installed. the problem is I have a work screen (the main one) and the other is blue all the time, if I move the mouse to the edge it will disappear as if the screen works but do not reappear on the second screen. This could be the cause?

  When you try fn + SPACEBAR , f5, are you talking about the screen or keyboard?

  1. screen: there 15.6 "diagonal HD BrightView - backlight WLED (1366 x 768) and fn + SPACEBAR, f5 don't change anything.

  2 keyboard: it back no backlit keyboard. FN + SPACEBAR, f5 will do nothing.

  I have a HP PAvilion DV6 3138 sh for laptop. I turned off in Sunday night and Monday morning I couldn't turn.

  I have a hp pavilion dv6-2010sa and tonight I let it load on my bedroom floor a came after half an hour, he had a white screen. I held button / stop e down until he died. • Touch screen works not properly (yoga 700)

  There are parts of the screen (near the Center, slightly to the left) doesn't react don't not to my fingers.

  Google and you'll find a fix for Yoga 3 which works with it too much since they use the same screen.

  Lenovo should have fixed before shipping it that since he already discovered in an older model long enough with the same screen, but they were simply screwed too lazy and used the same buggy one.
