Pavilion a6763w says no signal found when I start computer
I tried to connect several different screens, and they all return the same message, no signal found. I removed the cover of the tower and there is a small square 'box' that connects the monitor to the motherboard or integrated graphics subsystem which is Nvidia. I'm guessing that this connector box is what is my problem. Can someone tell me what this connector? While I can buy one HP or any other source. Also, if you have other ideas of what could be the problem, I can't wait to hear them. Under Vista 64 on AMD PhenomX4. Thanks in advance for your answers :-) Tammy D
Hello
Is this the first time that you connect the monitor (s)? Or if you have a new monitor? This is what it looks like:

When I start computer a window opens opimize the registry failed
Hi Harry,.
Looks like you have some program registry installed and programmed to run at startup, which does not work. I suggest we identify and remove the boot and then remove it totally from the system (uninstall). Registry modification programs are generally risky, rarely do much good, can cause great harm and are not really necessary as Windows does a good job of managing the registry on its own.
Try a boot minimum http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135. If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem. Follow the procedures described in the article. Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall. Once don't forget to reset your operating system to normal status, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.
Start in safe mode with network and see if the problem is here. A result allows us to narrow down the search for the cause.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!

I'm thinking there must be a registry fix just for this.
I used to have two sticks of tuner TV USB in my PC (Win7 Home 64 bit), but one of them went belly.
Now when WMC starts a scheduled recording, I have a pop-up balloon reports "Tuner not found". But the TV very well played and recorded normally.
Is there a simple solution for this? Very annoying. THX.
In WMC, go to Settings/tasks/TV Signal and set up your TV Signal again.
WMC has been implemented with 2 tuners and will continue to be a tuner missing until you set up again.
If you replace the missing tuner, or replace it with another tuner, you need to configure WMC again.

No signal HDMI when laptop start with closed lid (Y560)
I use an ASUS VW246H Panel as my main screen with my laptop Y560. When I start it, I get the loading Windows 7 fine on the external monitor screen but when Windows actually starts the dies of HDMI signal. Is it possible that I can do the default external display without having to activate manually each time, or close the lid?
I just solved my problem: with ATI Catalyst, I just had to open the lid of my laptop so that it recognized the laptop and external views. Then, I chose the option "Replace" on my external monitor, effectively making the value by default when it is plugged. Now, the laptop screen is always off when the external display is present.

Computer is humming, fan turns on and the screen is blank when I start computer
This problem happens every 90 days. When I took the computer to the repair shop, he had no problem with him right there. If the computer remains stationary, the problem persists, but once it is moved in a certain way, it will start normally. Specifically, I spilled on the computer and the problem stopped. I have a hard time to explain a problem to the repair shop when it no longer exists at the time wherever I have it get there. Is there a more permanent solution that mess up the computer?
When I tried to turn on my computer, I get a buzzing sound, then the fan came and the screen remained blank. I tried to restart after an hour, but it's the same, what's the problem? > Hello DempseyBullock,
Sorry, you experience this problem. The first thing I would say is contact the manufacturer of your computer. Also, I suggest to go to the manufacturer's Web site to confirm that there is no news updates for the drivers, firmware, or BIOS updates.
If you are unable to start your Windows XP-based computer, try the steps in the below links:

- Error messages
- Recent changes to your computer
- What you have already tried to solve the problem
Hello
Here is the complete troubleshooting tool. Make sure to run the system restart, then SFC/scannow tool
and chkdsk /f /r (CheckDisk) from the command to a startup disk. You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel
-Double click - Driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - device Manager - map - graph
then right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.Another method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure)
is CTRL + ALT + DEL and the processes tab find EXPLORER.exe and END PROCESS on it.
then on the tab Applications - lower right - new task - the type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is
accessible by tapping F8 as you start several times.First check this thread in case it is simple and if not to come back to this thread.
Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all hotfix is usually a hit or miss
base. That there is no information on a black screen as there is just a blue screen
adds to the difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect.
You can try a google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these
cover a wide field of efforts. Here's a video of one of them.

Yes, that's why. Microsoft Security Essentials, AVG, Norton, and
McAfee all turn them off Defender. It's good, not bad. Not only is at - it
potential conflict, but there is no reason to have both. they are all
basically have something very similar to the built-in Defender.

It is not correct that you can't remove it without defender. Use

CFMX says file not found in the new pages of the site
Hello:
Sorry if this has been answered, but I couldn't find it. We have some CF MX 7.0.2 running on Windows 2003 Web Server Edition with IIS. We have about 6 sites, each assigned a unique IP address. 2 two of the sites use coldfusion pages (templates) very well. These 2 sites are a few years old.
We find when we put in place a new site in IIS, see pages do not work. Navigation to a page of the CF in a new site gives the standard deviation coldfusion 'page not found' (not the standard IIS 404 error page, but CF one). This has happened on a new site that I've implemented today. Then I went to a site that has been set up back in January 2007, which happened not to have all pages of CF, and added a 'test' see page and same thing - says "page not found" when you try to display it in the browser. HTML pages very well through these sites.
I ran the application SEE connector of Web services on the server. It has an entry that says: it is set up for "IIS (all Sites)."
I checked the site properties in IIS, and the mappings for the cfm and cfml pages are there.
I compared the permissions in Windows and IIS for a site that works and the new (which are not) and see no difference.
The files really exist (we are not just typing their bad). The new site, we want to launch has been developed on a test (my PC) server where the cfm pages appear very well, and there are links related inter-page than all the work. When loading to the top of the production machine, the cfm pages stop working, but we know that links to these other pages are good.
I don't know what else could be wrong. Any help is appreciated. We are just desperate to launch a new site. Thank you!!you run the CF server as a no standard user - that is to say, not the default system account. If you see a CF page not found then CF obviously works but looks like it's a permission problem somewhere. If you host the files of a SAN somethings CF Gets a bit funny if there was a cluster failover and usually need to restart a service in the CF.
If all else fails try to use "filemon" - google - it will show you in real time what is happening on the disc and the highlight and the permissions that are initially a failure.
