Hi kbjba4,
This happens every time that you restart the computer? Have you installed a new hardware or software recently? If it is a recent issue, try using System Restore to restore the computer to a date prior to this issue. Check you the event logs to see if there is an event that occurred during the show to help identify the problem. See the links below. Measures also apply to Vista.

The BCCode indicates a driver error. The dump file may contain information needed to diagnose the problem. Can you send this file to me at rick_at_mvps_dot_org with a subject line of "req" (anything else is unlikely to cross the filters and is summarily deleted):
C:\Windows\Minidump\Mini030310-01.dmp
If you do not see the file or the folder that contains, in Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder Options or control panel/Folder Options go to the view tab and check the line to show hidden and system files and clear the line to hide operating system files. If you had faulty RAM and RAM is no longer present in your system, that would be a good indication that something that could have a good possibility of causing the bluescreens, no longer able to do.

A couple of days, I did a restore of the system at the end of July because the size of everything was off of the big time and had never done a system restore before. Since I did, everything is returned to the way it was before sizes... and I can receive and send emails... I have JUST CAN NOT open attachments on e-mails. When I click on the attachment to bring it up, it shuts my computer off and restarts it and when it turns on it says that it has recovered from a serious error. How can I fix my email so I can set up attachments?
What e-mail program?

Uninstall versions acrobat and reader, if you have a win os clean (Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat tool - Adobe Labs), and then install acrobat std.

When I try to update to Firefox, I get a window saying that it cannot be loaded because I don't have all the necessary permissions. What do this mean and what do I do?
If he has problems with the update or the permissions then simpler is to download the full version and trash the version currently installed to do a clean install of the new version.
Download a new copy of the Firefox program and save the file on the desktop DMG
- Firefox 6.0.x: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html
- Trash the present application Firefox to do a clean (re-) install
- Install the new version you downloaded
Your profile data is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you will not lose your bookmarks and other personal data.

When you click on the download link on GetFirefox.com, you should be asked if you want to run or save the file. If this situation occurs when you try to run the download, try instead to record and put the file on your desktop or in a similar place, where you are certain that you can find.
When the download is complete, try double-clicking on the downloaded file in the normal Windows Explorer (browse your way to the file from the desktop). This should start the installation.
If, in the Explorer window, you notice that the file seems to be missing the Firefox icon orange/blue, right click the file and select Properties. The image should look like the attached picture (except that mine is in Danish, but that is irrelevant) if saved correctly - if it don't look like this, would you please describe the content or attach a screenshot of the box. Especially what it says under "File Type" - it must be 'program '. If this isn't the case, will have to focus on what could be the problem here.
A bit off-topic, your Internet Explorer seems to be quite a bit outdated (IE 6, where the current version is IE 8), so I highly recommend that you try to run Windows Update to get your system up to date. Is it as a society (such as a thin client Terminal Server computer) system, this is not possible, and most likely, your system administrator will have to help you.
