Pavilion ab523tx: on the new laptop touchpad problem

I bought a new computer hp laptop ab523tx yesterday and noticed touchpad is not working as it should. his works well when I use gesture and type at the center of the toucpad but when I tap on the edges (the four banks), or type works nor gestures.

is this manufacturing defect or it is just the case for all laptops to the ab hp series?

Also, there is gap between the keyboard and the low basis common base.

No this does not happen with any laptop especially with the ab series because I myself use ab219tx. And it is the touchpad works very well also on the edges.

Your problem is because obsolete or non-drivers. Try to update your drivers to touch. If you still facing problem after update of drivers so this could be a hardware fault. Then you must visit the hp service center or ask the seller to replace the laptop

  • Laptop Extended CS6 on the new computer installation problem

    Hello.

I hope someone can help me understand how to install CS6 on a new computer. I remember that I first bought CS5 (with a CD), then passed to the CS6 in July 2014, a download, then download and install CS6 extended in February 2015. I don't remember if Extended CS6 was an upgrade ($399?).

I have disabled the older CS5 and CS6 on the laptop, went to my Adobe account > orders, downloaded and installed Extended CS6 and glued in the serial number. I received a message stating: "it is a valid serial number, but it is not a product qualified reference. Please select a product. "In the drop down menu, Extended CS6 was not an option.

I think I need to first install CS5 from the CD, and then upgrade to Extended CS6. However, when I try to run the CD on the new laptop (a Dell 7710, running Windows 7 Pro) I get a message that the Installer failed to initialize. If I try to run the CD on the old laptop (a Dell XPS 16, also running Windows 7 Pro), Setup initializes. So, apparently, the issue is specific to the machine. Anyone has an idea as to how I could get the CD to work on the new machine?

You need not install CS5. Simply enter the serial number when he asks the CS6 Installer.

What he wants is not a "qualified" product, but a qualifying product. That's the one that you upgraded.

  • connection printer to the new laptop

How to connect existing printer for the new laptop?

I'm sorry you have a problem with the communication of the printer and the computer.

    Try disabling your anti-virus.

In addition, run the doctor print and scan and check the results.

  • WRT54G v.5 will remain not connected to the new laptop / Windows 7 Premium

WRT54G v.5 will remain not connected to the new laptop / Windows 7 Premium. It works continuously with a cycle detection, connection, loss of connection; detection, connection, loss of connection, etc... The router works through this cycle, basically acting as if I disconnected and then reconnected to the power to reset, it disrupts my Internet connection to my Wired iMac and wireless, another office to the floor. Paid for Linksys support today and through remote access, he put up a new network on my desktop (iMac). After finishing, the problem still exists. When I told him that the problem had not been corrected, he said just wait an hour or two and it should work itself. She, of course, did not himself. Any ideas out there?

Nevermind - I seem to have solved the problem with a simple firmware. Funny how the Linksys technician support don't think to ask what version of the router I have or suggest that I should try to upgrade firmware first. However, he is quite good at trying to upsell me for a new router instead of trying to help me solve the problem I had. It makes me want to go buy Netgear next time, thanks a lot!

Received my brother in laws laptop cannot connect wireless, although I can of my own laptop. Trying to connect through the new laptop, I do not see even my own network! What I'm missing here? I'm sure it's maybe something simple, but for the life of me! (When my brother-in-law used this computer, he only uses it through dialup (!), he lives in a remote area). I do not know. The answer depends on what's wrong with the old.

Can I do this using a USB Flash drive?

    # If you can not start the old laptop, you cannot transfer files from it
    to the USB.

If the problem with the old laptop isn't that hard drive has
has failed (and that's a big 'if'), you can pull the hard drive.
and get an external USB enclosure. Having done this, you can read
It is on the new laptop and copy files from it.

  • Activate lightroom in the new laptop computer

I can't find the option disabling in my lightroom 5.7, and I'll install the lightroom for my new laptop computer. How can I do to avoid this problem by selecting in the new laptop?

There is no mechanism to turn on (or off) in Lightroom version 5 or earlier.

If you don't want Lightroom to stay on your computer for possible future use, then just uninstall.

  • CS6 transfer to the new laptop

I installed CS6 on my office # Mobile #1.  Computer laptop #1 is becoming unstable (HP Pavilion 9700 series) and I replaced it with a new laptop.  I would like to uninstall on #1 laptop and reinstall it on the new laptop - how can I achieve this?

Disable the application on the current computer, then uninstall it if you want to recover disk space.

Then simply install the application on the other machine in the same way that you initially install and activate using its serial number.

If you need to download the application, you should check your Adobe account online to see if a download link is provided.  If this isn't the case, you can download the free trial via the link below.

  • CS4/5 installation on the new laptop without disc?

I'm picking up a new laptop PC, this afternoon and I plan on disable and remove my old laptop for CS5. I have CS4 originial records, registered, and the disks to upgrade to CS5 (the two Design Premium, if this allows everything), but the new laptop doesn't have a hard drive. What is the best way to install CS on the new laptop computer?

In addition, I should start by installing CS4 and follow the update? I don't remember exactly what, but I remember running on some issues when I did it first about 3 years ago (and have had error messages resulting from so I want to avoid on the new computer).

    Thanks in advance.

No, you just install cs5.  you will be prompted for the serial numbers of your cs4 and cs5 upgrade.

If you follow the 7 steps, you can dl a trial through one of the links on this page: http://prodesigntools.com/all-adobe-cs5-direct-download-links.html

and activate it with your serial number.

If you have a problem with dl, you don't follow all 7 steps.  as a general rule, do not carefully follow the steps 1, 2 or 3 is the problem.

  • Fonts Zapf Dingbats corrupted on the new laptop

I move to a new laptop. My old laptop had Windows XP SP 2, 8.0p277 of FrameMaker and Acrobat Distiller 8. I had 2 fonts Zapf Dingbats, which worked fine on my old laptop (ZapfDinbats and ZapfDingbatsStd [OpenType]). However, on my new laptop, when I try to install the version of .pfm of ZapfDingbats Zapf Dingbats, I get an error of corrupt police. The new laptop has following applications: Windows XP SP 3, FrameMaker 8.0p277 and Distiller 8.0. Other people in my team have downloaded and installed this file without any problem. I did some reading on the Forum about this. But I have not yet found a solution to my problem. Could someone help me please? Someone said a parameter without any detail of the bios. I wonder if I need to do something like that here.

    tc_trumpet wrote:

It is possible that your new laptop has a Nvidia graphics card? A Google search for "" XP SP3' of postscript fonts"reveals solutions like this:

    -------

Open the Registry Editor (START, RUN and type regedit and click OK)
Navigate to the following key - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\SessionManager\MemoryManagement
Add a new REG_DWORD value - change the name of the value for SessionImageSize value (decimal) 20 and then restart the machine.

    -------

Found in a German Windows related forum, where the thread describes exactly your problems (solution comes from DELL). Maybe it's worth a try.

Edit: Here's a blog in English which gives the same solution (scroll to the end of the page):

  • How to download purchased new music on the new laptop when first download unsuccessful on the old machine?

I downloaded a few songs on my very old laptop that doesn't work: using the new laptop, iTunes tells me that I already bought the but I don't see any way of the re - download: maybe because I'm in France? What can I do to get the music I paid? Thanks in advance!

Are purchases on the iTunes store in France? You must be in a country to use his shop (including redownloading), which is part of the plan of the store, so while you are in France, you can only use the Bank of France (and potentially to re-download your purchases Bank of France). You can redownload will show in the purchase link under quick links on the right side of the home page of the iTunes music store (assuming you have not hidden their cloud, and if they are still in the store).
