I tried to find the drivers to support page here to toshiba, but when I tried to install it, it says that it can be installed with SP1 and I have SP2.   Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read your thread on your HP laptop and the USB doesn't work does not correctly. Here is a link to solve the USB connections.

  I would like to uninstall all listed in the universal serial bus controllers list.

  Please note remove any and all USB devices and remove the memory card in the slot of the card reader. Disconnect all non-essential devices before you uninstall the controller Universal serial bus.

  Restart your computer, and then insert the USB device.

  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system.

  Recently, my hard drive started to fail on my HPE - 580t.  I moved my documents/pictures/etc on an external hard drive using a USB 3.0 connection.

  Replaced with a new Western Digital Black 3 TB hard drive and did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.

  Now, the computer does not recognize the external hard drive with USB 3.0 connection.

  Device Manager / other devices - show controller Serial Bus universal with a yellow sign - said "the rivers of this device are not installed.  (Code 28)

  When I select Update Driver is unsuccessful.

  Any ideas?

  I just installed windows 7 on my laptop Pavilion 15-ab066n, it came with windows 8. I have difficulties to find universal serial (USB) bus driver and there are also two unknown devices, I was on the site of HP driver and there is not a link for the driver for the chipset. Please someone know where I can find this driver or what the chipset is if I can get it directly from intel? or what are the two unknown devices, they are not player card or bluetooth as I installed the drivers for the HP site.

  File name: sp71393.exe

  The second driver is directly from the assistance of your notebook page and this is certainly one you need for the device 6007.

  Try to install manually as follows...

  Go to Device Manager and click on the unknown device of 6007 requiring the driver.

  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and find the folder of the driver that was created when you ran the file.

  This file will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp71811.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

  Then restart.

• ThinkStation P310 tour Universal Serial Bus Controller question

  I loaded Microsoft Windows 7 Professional 32 bit on a new ThinkStation P310. The 1 thing that I can't seem to load is the driver for it. Stand with a yellow exclamation point in Device Manager. This is one from scratch OS load using Windows 7 Professional 32 bit Microsoft Volume Licensing Center .iso. Looking at the properties is said the following:

  There is no driver selected for the item or a set of device information.

  To find a driver for this device, click Update driver.

  I automatic search and there is no driver for the device. The hardware ID are:

I'm going at the request of Renesas installs this driver and after it launches it tells me "not found USB 3.0 host controller '.

  Support has been NO help so far. I'm personally not conviced it is the correct driver for the USB controller.
