  Hello.

  I have a HP Pavilion Dv6-2110AX Windows 7 Home Premium and one a few days ago I had a problem with the internet/network connection.

  It was working normally and then, suddenly, just collapsed. I tried everything I know: System Restore, update the wireless driver (Atheros AR9258 wireless adapter - ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp48001-48500/sp48488.exe), reset the driver (I don't know if I did it right), but nothings helped to y for remedy.

  The only message I get I can't try something there: "Windows has not automatically determine the network proxy settings." I tried to do it manually, but it won't let me change any configuration in there, I don't know why.

  In the Device Manager, it indicates that the wi - fi adapter is not working properly and I can't access internet and network with my smartphone and 2 other computers at home, so I guess that the problem is not the router and I don't know what else to do.

  The only thing I have not tried to change IP address, because I don't have the Setup for this network and I don't know if this will help also.

  Well well, after 1 month trying to get assistance from HP and after 2 weeks in this forum (thanks to everyone who saw the subject and tried to help ) I just gave up and did what I have done since I had the problem.

  My solution was to use the recovery discs to "Reinstall" everything and now the laptop is like when I bought it, but works.

  If you decide to do, REMEMBER to backup all your files before otherwise you goanna lose everything, because the recovery system returns your computer to the factory settings.

  The best thing is, it took less than an hour to do. If I'd known...

  Hello there, this is the Prince of the heavenly Crown of Canada here.

  I've been a loyal user of HP consumer level laptop for 2 years.

  It seems that there is a problem with my laptop screen display.

  For my part, this is the first time this kind of problem has occurred.

  For some reason, in my current (well, now its my last) session, my screen became totally blank on me and turned black, as if the laptop was in a sort out of power status, however, the power of the laptop was always and until the issue has suddenly decided to occur before my eyes , I had been using the laptop and was even working on a coding operating... some of you may know me as the creator of the heavenly System.ini Crown Configuration file.

  Apparently, it is a known issue with HP Laptop, and I don't know if HP is actively focusing on the question of setting so that it does not become an inconvenience to other users of HP laptops or buyers.

  Is there a known solution as to how to fix this kind of problem? This is very critical and I was in the middle of the tent to save the rest of my code in Notepad on my desk, but I would speculate that asides from the 2 files I could save, the rest would have gone unless I would be able to resume my last session which I highly doubt at this stage.

  If someone could please let me know as soon as possible, I would appreciate it a lot.

  It turns out that it is a pretty known issue windows 8.1 users infestation since at least 2013 and there is not a simple fix, then it cannot be * completely * lack of hp. but I've had two of these laptops, both the same model, one needing to be returned and exchanged for a problem absolutely no report with (hardware failure: ethernet port does not work with lights taped). Both are renovated. Both have been extreemly slow and unresponsive even compared to the lower Brazos powered by the laptop that I had before, but I recently decided to investigate why.

  So if there is something specific HP going on here, I hope that there is a simple fix. My average response time went upward as well more than a minute (> 60, 000ms), so that I'm an aberrant case here against this problem of reactivity/band bandwidth hardrive typical windows 8.1.

  Edit: there is a case with another HP pavilion laptop (intel powered, so there may be a problem of storage driver intel described in the first link) being much worse.

  Going to a new facility to clean up an image of Windows Pro 8.1 from DreamSpark for my school.

  some time after the start of my laptop, I'm starting to get a slow response by pressing and holding a button. Which means that, when I release the key the character continue tp appear about 2 seconds more! So, for example if I use the arrow keys, that I do not in the exact spot I need because the cursor will continue several characters to come.

The content of the application is pushed to the DPM and stored locally. This app is more graphic, and there is no video no is involved. The size of the content is aroun 105MO. We use 3 m touchscreen.

  The application is designed so that when the user clicks on tabs, it goes to that specific tab content. The question here is, when the user clicks/keys on the screen of the tab, it takes more time to react, which means it takes longer to access this particular screen. So I'm not sure how reduce response time.

  We use Cisco (OEMed) 32 inch screen with a resolution in 1366 x 768 LCD, what is said in the native resolution. We use the HDMI to connect to the DPM on the LCD screen.

• New installation-Vista is slow, lock up and "not responding".

  I performed a clean installation of Vista Ultimate 64 bit on a new disk of Wetern Digital 1 TB (64 MB cache 5400 RPM), new card gigabyte, 12 GB of DDR3 memory, graphics card GeForce 9800 GT with 1 GB on board and Intel Core i7 930 processor. I have closed, slow and 'unresponsive. ' Went through the installation twice.

  Worked on this week. All hardware manufacturers say that's not their point. Any ideas as to what could be causing this?

  It looks like a hardware or driver problem (but you say that you have checked that everything is compatible and all drivers are up-to-date and the manufacturer) or you have installed a software that is not compatible with this version of Vista and the software is causing the problem.  He's not the kind of problem that can be caused by a faulty drive (but it's also remotely possible).

  After 2 facilities and the same problems, I'd probably take system to a repair facility of computer with a good reputation for service.

• HP Pavilion e015nr-11 locks on Internet Explorer

  Today, when I go on internet explore, it freezes my HP Pavilion 11-e015nr.  This is a new PC and works fine.  I can't get out of internet Explorer and the only way to do something is to stop.  I have reset the options for internet explore and he continues to have the same problem.

  Any suggestions?

  I have all the scan made no problem.  Based on what I was doing, I could access the internet, directly to Windows Mail or through shop Windows 8, but as soon as I opened Internet Explorer, I was dead in the water.

  I downloaded Firefox from the store of Windows 8 and it works fine.  The question must be something with Internet Explorer.  I appreciate the help I received.
