Pavillion 2288se g6: WiFi problem

I have a pavillion 2288se g6 that wifi does not work. The F12 key is red instead of white, there is no yellow staff on the pilot. Please, how can I activate wifi?

A second option is to try the following steps:
Network power cycle:
1. turn off your laptop.
2. unplug the power to your router.
3. disconnect the power to your modem.
4. wait at least 45 seconds.
5 reconnect the modem and wait for it to come back online.
6 plug in the router and wait for it to come back online.
7. turn on your laptop and test your connection.

Turn off the power to the adapter:

Reinstall the NIC drivers:

Test an Ethernet connection:
Explicit. Test if the problem persists on a wired connection to the adapter hardware troubleshooting wireless can be directed to the appropriate areas.

Test another connection:
Many people excluded their home network as a problem if another device working on the same network. Networking is not as simple as that.     I don't know if this is related to your problem, but using the battery will cause the unit to run in a different way compared to the mode high performance when it is plugged.     I have three computers on my desk. This standard T530 running Windows 10, a ThnkPad E555 running Windows 7 and a Dell running Windows 8. I used all three last Friday. I installed Norton on all three Friday and everything went without a hitch. When I first started their return to the top of this morning, the two others came online as usual. The ThinkPad T530 connected by a router in the company, but has no access to the internet. I can connect to the hotspot on my phone and it connects fine. I tried to turn the WiFi connection and then turn it on again, restart, by killing and restarting the business connection, etc. Nothing changes.

    5. this afternoon, when the WiFi did not work for Windows 10. I reinstalled as a dual boot Ubuntu 14.04. I have had no trouble to connect to the WiFi for Ubuntu.

    It could be the firmware is damaged. Firstly, what you can do is set a channel fix (1, 6, 9 or 11). Customize settings wireless advanced: tag set to 50, interval threshold of Fragmentation 2306 & 2307 RTS threshold.
