PC blacking out

My computer has been blacking out since I've owned it. I bought it in February of 2014. It's an ASUS M11AD.

I'm playing a game, watching a stream on Twitch, shoot, I was even just about anything else that a Skype call with a friend and the monitor will not be recognized by my PC. The monitor will say, 'Not of VGA Signal' or HDMI, if that's what I've got he's going through. It does not do in 5 minutes to turn on my computer, but it is unclear when that will happen. There are days where it occurs and the worst of times, it happened 5 times in 30 minutes. I tried three monitors and 3 HDMI cables, I used the VGA cable my monitor came with (a specifically purchased ASUS monitor to try to fix it) and no progress. I have the Tower sitting on top of my desk in a room well, is not wet or hot. It is not an overheating problem. I never felt it losing its icy touch (I'm quite satisfied with its cooling system).

I have a three year warranty on my computer with FRY's electronics, but unless they can reproduce the problem, the warranty covers any hardware problem. I took them four times, all four times they could not subordinate the issuance materialize.

I'm really at a loss here. I paid a little for the PC and the three-year warranty, and now I am just overwhelmed by how much a 'hole in my wallet,' this will put if I have to replace it.

Thanks in advance for any insight and effort on the problem.

Perhaps you need to review your assumption: is your problem really caused by a missing video signal or is there another cause? If it was my PC then I would do this:

  1. Install a program take remote control, for example (free) WinVNC.
  2. Test it using some other PC (even an old one will do!) to take over the PC problem. The two machines must be connected to the same network.

Now establish a connection when the problem PC turns off. If the other PC displays the image you expect, then you have a problem with the video signal. If it shows nothing, then there is another problem.

Post again if you need instructions with the remote control plug.

  • Toshiba 42L6453D is blacking out for 1 second interval every minute

I have problems with my Toshiba 42L6453D TV new blacking out [Picture & Sound] channels not HD for 1 second interval every minute or so - HD channels are functioning properly.

I tried to re-tuning many times, but on some channels this question just keep occurring.

I also had problems with not only endangered HD channels and have to retune the TV to get back them.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you
    DG

Try resetting the TV to the default settings. I mean back to the factory settings.
Then retune the channels once more.

By the way; the TV supports different tuners
In the worst case, there would be a problem with one of the tuner you are currently using.

So in my opinion it would be advisable to test the functionality of channel not using an additional set-top box external HD

I'm also under first elements 14 on the same machine without any problem. It's a new generation machine with a processor i7, a GPU GTX970 and 32 GB of RAM, this material should not be a problem.

Thanks (again). Does not work either - I reinstalled again and it seems to have done the trick for now. If all goes well, it is not a recurring question!
