  I searched this computer up and down, left and right and can not find bluetooth! I used the search on the screen of Windows Live titles.  I turned on the bluetooth on IT, my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and also made sure to make it visible.  But, always to nothing does not, have not been able to find one any trace of bluetooth or bluetooth settings any!   Unfortunately, it does not come with built-in bluetooth or this feature would have been listed with 802.11b/g/n 1 x 1 wireless WLAN connectivity Specifications.

  To get Bluetooth for your model, you can:

  1. buy an external bluetooth usb adapter.

  2. Remove and replace the wireless adapter bluetooth not with one that has bluetooth.

• Windows 7 can not find bluetooth, windows 10 can devices.

  Then, I had this problem for several years now. I tried all possible solutions on the internet, but I can't do it. Bluetooth does not work on my Windows 7 64 bit. It's not fair. I have attached my bluetooth dongle. Windows installs the driver so that he (CSR Bluetooth Chip) and this is where my story ends. I never got beyond that point. It seems that I should be able to detect bluetooth devices now, but no, it isn't. There is no bluetooth on the PC option either. The only thing I can find is the driver in Device Manager. I can see that it is listed under Bluetooth radios. I see the dongle in devices and printers. When I right click on it, there is an option for Bluetooth settings. In these circles is a visibility option (this PC can be detected by other devices), but every time I check the box and click on apply, it gives me an error. I thought that was the problem, or it was something to do with the dongle.

  BUT, then, I installed the Windows 10 Technical Preview. I saw the Bluetooth option. I thought I should try. I clicked on the button and immediately, I found all the bluetooth devices. It has never been easier.

  I wonder, why does Windows 7 find my devices? As much as I have now, there is no button Bluetooth click on Windows 7. Yes, there's an add an option of the device, but it is not specific Bluetooth.

  So, what occupies me here? I begin to suspect that somethings wrong with my Windows 7. There is no bluetooth option integrated at all? Please, I want to solve this problem, after all this time. Thank you in advance.

  For the Bluetooth dongle, have you tried install any driver that was provided?

  Windows 7 is a pretty old OS compared with Windows 10. In each version of Windows, Microsoft adds device drivers for various devices, as provided by the manufacturers, called the OEM. Windows 7 has some Bluetooth drivers and the generic drivers. Therefore, the device is getting detected as Bluetooth, but all features may not be used. So you see the dongle Bluetooth works in Windows 10, but not in Windows 7. The only solution is the installation of the drivers. If you do not have a driver disc, download the drivers from the manufacturer's website. Installation of the drivers, the problem will be solved.

  I downloaded the new 6.2 hotsync (which is listed as 7.0.2 in the lower left corner of hotsync), I have a new toshiba laptop with vista 64-bit os, laptop has bluetooth and the bluetooth works because I already set up to work with my treo 755 as a modem. In any case, when I'm trying to set up the connection to hotsync option so I can sync my outlook with the treo, connections in hotsync does not list bluetooth as an option.  I read that it will only show if the material has bluetooth.  Again, I have no bluetooth and it works very well with the treo when I put up as a modem for a wireless connection.  Any thoughts why hotsync is absent from the bluetooth connection option?  It is defined as discovereable as well.

  At this point, the only thing left that I could suggest is to buy a bluetooth USB dongle and see if it will work. When you install the dongle, do not use the cd to install the drivers, let Windows install the drivers. It sounds like this is similar to what we were looking for with the Toshiba Bluetooth radio but the dongle uses a different radio and they worked for Bluetooth hotsync on other 64 bit Vista systems.

  Dongles/adapters listed as compatible are the following;

  • Motorola adapter USB Bluetooth (Verizon only)

  I'm not very tech of mind. I've had my toshiba laptop hardrive replaced someone had already managed to get the laptop to work for me that I had the same problem with the connection. It says Bluetooth is not ready when I right click on the Bluetooth icon at the bottom of my screen and go to settings and click on new connection. If I left click the icon Bluetooth at the bottom of my screen it only says not connected.
