PCT_GRAPH in the number/date format

The version of the APEX, we're currently on is 4.1.1.00.23. I'm trying to get a progress bar to display in a report. I use the PCT_GRAPH:330099:CC0000:100 in the number/date of the bar column format. It does not work. I will attach what it looks like. Is there anything else I need to do?

Thanks for your help!

Set the column attribute display as Standard report column and not display text (escape special characters, does not save the State).

  • Largest number of digits for the NUMBER data type?

    What length more of a NUMBER that Oracle will "support"?

    The documentation says the following:

    Limitations of the data type says:

    «Can be represented in a comprehensive precision 38 digits»

    NUMBER of Data Types says:

    "Oracle guarantees portability of numbers with precision of up to 20 digits of base-100, which equals 39 or 40 decimal digits according to the position of the decimal point."

    I realize account that if I define a column as simply NUMBER, I can insert numbers with a size up to 126 characters.  However, Oracle seems to maintain only the first 40 digits in MOST cases.  The largest number of digits, it seems to allow is 40 before it begins to be replaced by 0.

    With numbers that have more than 40 figures, Oracle will sometimes replace all numbers according to the 38th numbers with a 0 and sometimes replace 0 after the digit 39th or 40th.

    Therefore, what is the largest number of digits, can be trusted to safely store Oracle?

    This is the code I used for this testing process.

    Start

    for x in 1.200

    loop

    l_x: = x;

    insert into max_num values (rpad (1, x, 1));

    end loop;

    dbms_output.put_line ('STOP: ' | l_x);

    dbms_output.put_line (SQLERRM);

    end;

    Select num, length (replace (num, 0)) of max_num;

    What length more of a NUMBER that Oracle will "support"?

    You have already given your own answer. If 'length': the maximum number of digits is written the doc gives you the answer:

    999... (38 9's) x 10 value maximum125

    The 38/39/40, hereinafter referred to as the doc means "significant digits". This is why rounding or truncation occurs if you provide more significant digits of 38/39/40.

    Oracle stores the numbers internally in a binary format 21 bytes using a documented structure in the doc of the OIC in the section 'NUMBER'.

    http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/E11882_01/AppDev.112/e10646/oci03typ.htm#i423684

    Oracle database stores the values of the NUMBER data type in a variable length format. The first byte is the exponent and is followed by 1 to 20 mantissa bytes. The high bit of the exponent byte is the sign bit; It is defined for positive numbers, and it is cleared for negative numbers. The lower 7 bits represent the exponent, which is a number of base-100 with an offset of 65.

    This article from doc continues to show you how to convert the internal format to the real value.

    An additional byte of 1 is used for all types of data to store the length; That's why you often see docs saying numbers can take 22 bytes.

    Hello

        REVENUE_V.ANNUAL_REV_ACT_YTD_PRIOR_MO  * :P37_CURRENCY as ANNUAL_REV_ACT_YTD_PRIOR_MO
        from REVENUE_V REVENUE_V
    where company_id = :P37_COMPANY_SELECTOR
    and week_number = :p37_week_number
    Question: How to change the number format in dollar/GBP/RS according to parameters.

    Tony

    I followed your directions and add an element coming stores the value, the value of changes in session state (property).

    I've added two condition of dynamic on the currency action when this USD then symbol = $ other is when GBP £ can

    When I view the item, it shows me the correct currency symbol but not least of the report.
    for example

    Revenue
    Annual Rev-Budget     24313387.2

    missing symbol

    Column attributes
    Display as text (character option special escape) (also tried with standard column)
    Number / Date Format * & MY_ITEM.*

    Any idea/help what would go wrong.

    Thank you

  • XLS2COLLECTION in the collection date format

    Recently, I noticed the Date format imported into the collection as part of the XLS2COLLECTION is to come across as DD/MM/YYYY even if the XLS format is DD/MM/YYYY.  I can't seem to find a setting anywhere where it would change someone knows all the parameters that affect this format?

    I actually reached out to my contact at Oracle to get some clarification on this and he was kind enough to return after scanning through the code that is actually a HARD-CODED in the earphone date format.  He recommended to post something in the forum of listener to try and address the potential for improvement, but for now it looks like it's like that and in my case, I need to code exception to reformat the date in my application.

  • How can I configure the cell data format

    How can I configure data format of cell numbers: for example, I want to capture 123456.78 and need to be 12A3456.78?

    I tried to put #A # #. # format option, but it didn't work a few time and it became A123456.78.

    I also tried on excel and it worked very well, but I like the numbers better. is there a solution to this problem?

    Thank you

    HEY Chi - Lun,

    I don't think that this is possible as many number format. You should be able to insert A in a text string using a formula, but this would happen in a second cell, not that the number has been entered.

    "Assuming all the"numbers require the same inserted letter after the second number, this should do the work."number" entered in column A; the formula in column B. In the table below, your value as an example is A6.

    = Left (A, 2) & "A" & RIGHT (A, LEN (A) - 2)

    Kind regards

  • In the RPD date format

    Hi gurus,
    The RPD, I have a condition where

    If (received_date-current_date) < X then...

    the date of receipt in the database is digital. Ex: 20040810

    How can I change the date format to match the default value for the current date in the expression builder.

    Thank you
    Avinash

    Looks like you use the calculations based on the fact table or could be physical columns.
    I suggest you use the logical columns so that you can use the column date (by received_date) your day sun.
    or else
    map the day Sunday to the fact table and to use physical expression for the same, the same as your other post with status = completed as I said in my last email.

    You must use the timestampdiff function.

  • Set the default Date Format in 4.2 jQuery Mobile Smartphone

    Hi guys,.

    on 'normal' office interfaces, you can set a default date format in the globalization settings. Currently I am working on an application JQM and I noticed that the same settings I have to format date in other applications, take effect.

    I read today in the 4.2 notes version, that somehow this question was a bit buggy. If this problem is corrected? I would firstly like JJ German date format. "" MR. YYYY "; (such that it works in office applications). How can I do? This entry is saved in the global settings.

    But whenever I want to put a date-picker-merchandise in this format, it changes again in 'YYYY-MM-DD' after registration. And I don't really want to enter a dml processing conversion function writing now.

    Thanks for all tips, best looks,.
    Tobi

    Hey Tobi,

    the item type of ' date picker (HTML5) "corresponds to the type of input HTML5 = 'date', which requires that the internal format of the value date must always be YYYY-MM-DD, but he returned to the browser to display the date in the format of the local operating system parameter. The browser of the iOS for example displays the date in the format of my setting local language/country.
    See also http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7372038/is-there-any-way-to-change-input-type-date-format

    To make a long story short, it is not possible to specify the display format for dates selectors, because this is not supported by the HTML5 specification.

  • How does the RR Date Format?

    Please explain the logic or the exact mechanism behind the * "RR" Format of Date in to_date() and to_char() DATE functions *. I can't understand the explanation of text book. If possible, please provide examples in real time.

    Otherwise, provide a URL with a good explanation.

    Thank you

    Hello

    In addition to what Anurag says:

    "RR" is designed to complete the format 'AA '; It's the same kind of thing inside a different window of the years.

    In the 'AA' format, a 2 digit year is assumed to be in the 100 consecutive starting with the most recent xx00 years and ending with the next xx99.
    In format "RR", a 2-digit year is assumed to be in the 100 consecutive starting with the most recent years xx50 and ending with the next xx49. In other words, the window of dates is off 50 years.
    Currently, and until now 2049 (inclusive) years "RR" will always be in the range from 1950 to 2049, inclusive. In other words, the years returned by TO_DATE (x, "RR") will be between 1950 and 2049.
    From 2050 years "RR" will always be in the range 2050 thanks 2149, inclusively.

    "YY" format as "RR" are bad. You should not use 2-digit years. Use 4 digit years always. The small amount of extra typing that users will need to do whenever they enter a 4-digit year is very little compared to the work necessary to correct errors that always occur when you use 2 digit years.

    Mike,

    You have the ability to recognize characters multi-byte enabled? Please navigate to configure"Station and select the location tab. There should be a checkbox to recognize multibyte characters. This box is checked? Otherwise, try to check the box and re-run your movie file.

    Please let me know the results of this test. Thank you!
