  Basically, the MSC and MTP modes are 2 ways your Clip can connect to your computer for the same purpose: transferring files (and to see what is stored on your Clip).  MSC mode is the older (and often less problematic) mode, in which your Clip is seen as an external drive such as a USB key.  MTP mode is more recent and requires a driver found in Windows Media Player 10 and above (this is why you need WMP on your computer if you use MTP mode).

  Works in mode, and you can use the one that you like.  But note that if your drive is connected to your computer in MSC USB mode, your computer sees only the files that had been moved to the drive when the drive is connected in MSC mode.  Similarly with regard to the MTP mode.  However, all the files appear and can be played on your player, under some USB mode setting.

  A reason why some people prefer to set the USB Mode on their player to MSC or MTP: setting Auto, the Player tries to connect in MTP mode but then you will return in MSC mode if the connection of the MTP does not; as a result, you can have a mixture of MSC and MTP mode transferred the files to your drive, making some of them isn't visible on your computer without going to the other USB mode.

  Because MSC mode is more universal (playing with a wide range of operating systems, including Linux and on Mac, and without the need for Windows Media Player on the computer), some people prefer MSC mode.  However, note that the DRM (digital rights management) files need MTP mode - they will not transfer enough (the DRM license will not transfer) in MSC mode.

  Let us first check if AutoPlay is enabled, follow these steps

  1. open AutoPlay by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, on material and audio and then click AutoPlay.

  2 choose an action each time you plug in a device or insert a disc.

  For me, this happened from disabling, but do not uninstall McAfee site Advisor. Recommend site completely uninstalled and the problem disappeared completely. I had turned off before site Advisor, but it seems after a update to McAfee, he was back and then turn it off again caused this problem.

  Go to "uninstall a program" or "add/remove programs" in control panel. Find McAfee in your list (McAfee total protection for me). Click it and then click "Uninstall/Change" (right there in XP, up above in Vista or 7). I don't remember exactly what you see after that, but at one screen I was given the choice to uninstall the McAfee total protection and/or the Site Adviser. You can just check the Site Adviser and just uninstall the Site Adviser while retaining the rest of the McAfee protection.

  Looks like pictures which I assume you mean Apple's application to view and edit photo files is a 'disk' called JDK 8 update 73 ad.

  This implies that you have downloaded and mounted a "disk image file" for the update of Java and it is always 'mounted '. However the fact that you are still being harassed to install it in Safari implies that you have not run the update of Java installation package that must be inserted into the drive.

  Then, go back to the Finder and look for a drive in a window of Finder called "JDK 8 updated 73'. Click on that in the window of the Finder and the window should then list the contents of this disc. In this list should be something obviously to do with the installation, most of the installation files have an extension of the .pkg file, it could be called 'update Java 8 73.pkg. Double-click or open the pkg file and follow the instructions.

  It would be better that you could provide more information on this issue.

  What application you are trying to download the file? Is any e-mail Application or SkyDrive?

  If you try to upload a file with a long file name to the SkyDrive or Mail application, it wouldn't show the full name of the file when the download of the file. It shows only a part of the name of the file. It comes to the design of these applications.

  To find the full file name, the only option is to rename the name of the file to a short name and then download the files on the machine or SkyDrive App.

  I have this document which was only a linked several page PDF file. After several iterations the PDF of the images have been removed from the document. Recently our HE decided to rename our servers so that all links in the document had to be reprinted time and that's when I noticed that Indesign still considers this PDF file is in the document, though even he is not designate a page number on the link tab, or it jumps to the link on "Go to Link". I even tried to recreate a link to the new location and it does nothing... I'm scratching my head. At the moment there no adverse or corruption of the document or otherwise, but I would hate for something horrible to occur later. Any ideas?

  One thing to note, is the name of the PDF file has '-' in the name. Not sure if this is important, but I saw some chatter here that refer to abnormalities with the replacement text in file names.

  Here's the problem: I have a book with several chapters of different authors. Some of them used topics that are too long for the headers. For those I want to use markers.

  I know how to display markers, which I don't want, because then I have to create a benchmark for each unique position in the book (using this master page). And I know how to view the different titles for example < $paratext [H1, H2, H3] >.

  Now I'm looking for is something like this < [marker, line] $paratext >. In plain language: 'check if there is a certain marker. If there is one, show the marker, otherwise display the heading."

  Then I would be able to use the same master page and would need to use markers only where a title is too long.

  You could create an alternative heading tag (for example InvisibleH1) with an invisible color in a framework anchored to it and can then use the building block <$paratext[InvisibleH1,H1,H2... etc.]="">. Just toggle the views appropriate to hide text in anchored frames.

• How can I add a straight line in a State of working capital under the heading of menu nav?

  Can we do this in Adobe Muse? I want to include a line that appears in the menu item, under the title of the menu, a mouse is reversed or tapped a finger on the item on a mobile device. For example the House with a line just below that will appear when I change the rollover State. I don't want to underscore. I mean a line of a few pixels to the bottom of a menu item name.

  You can do this by adding a line to the bottom of the menu items (remember to separate the four sides). You must do this for all four States - use the same color for the States you want to see the line, otherwise, the text will jump.
