Performace DB low due to triggers mobile oracle
HelloI had a (Forms 6i) application with Oracle Lite 10g.
He worked successfully on a test environment.
Now, I set up all my Articles in the publication in the production database. The application works very well, but I realize as the entire process taking much more time... The overall performance of the database is therefore lower.
I found that for every time I do an insert/update/delete operation on a table that is associated with an element of publication, there are certain triggers that make other DML operations over other tables (TABLES of CVR$...)
I also found that it triggers always fire (with any registry), I assumed that this happens only when there is a DML operation on registers that I use in my mobile application...
I drop every publication on the database, and now the performace is ok. However, I need to put this application in production...
What can I do to improve the performance of the database?
DML operations are triggered by this guilty triggers for my performance problem?
Should I do a kind of tunning on my database?
Any idea is welcome...
Kind regards
Santiago

Mobile 10.3.0.1? Or another version?
Do you know what looks like the performance of your phase to apply? Your application should not be stuffy on 850 000 records. Turn on SQL tracing for phase MGP apply. You may need to make some adjustments to your phase to apply. Can you post the plan explain your basic sql query? You can validate the plan of the explain for the phase to apply command. If you don't mind, after the SQL as well.
Right after the SQL code for the publication element that is having performance issues.

First of all, I would never run my backups in OEM. When the crisis comes to 02:00, I don't want to ever more parts to be involved in the recovery.
Second, the only thing approaching a 'trigger' of deletion of backups is if your backups are in the FRA... rman will be, at the time of the execution of a backup... try to remove backups obsolete if necessary to free up space in the FRA.
Other than that, oboslete backups are only deleted in response to a direct order to REMOVE OBSOLETE. This command can optionally (as indicated by TigerDBA) includes a rule of the obsolescence of execution, or it may depend on the configuration stand.
Another thing to note is that the backups are NOT marked as obsolete. They are EVALUATED for obsolescence in response to a command DELETE OUTDATED or OBSOLETE REPORT.
And one last thing to not is that any recovery has to start with a full backup. It would be the most recent full-time (or level 0 incremental) backup before the point in time you need to recover. This means that the most recent full-time (or level 0 incremental) backup will never considered as obsolete, no matter what age there.

Get the active Version Table triggers in Oracle
I am new to Oracle Workspace Manager. I have a trigger that fills my ID every time that I have to insert a record. I created the trigger before you enable versioning of my table. After that it was the case in my table, I can't find my trigger but have these triggers instead:
OVM_DELETE_7 OVM_INSERT_7 OVM_UPDATE_7
What I wanted to do, is to examine triggers that I created on my paintings. Is it possible to do this without disable versioning on my table? I have too many tables with compatible version and it would be a problem off the version of each table just for this query.Hello
After a table has been enabled in the version, you can use the all_wm_tab_triggers, user_wm_tab_triggers views for querying the triggers that you have defined on the table.

How to access Mobile Oracle using PL/SQL Server logs?
I started using Oracle solutions, so I'm a complete newbie.

Published by: Hugo Zenha on April 15, 2009 07:40Details of base for sync history is MOBILEASDMIN. C$ SYNC_HISTORY. This will give you the id of the customer (name), start and end times, success or failure (and error if failure) as well as the total volume of data uploaded and downloaded.
You can get more details by joining with c$ sync_his_pub_items on session_id, and this gives details of each downloaded table (phase = UPLOAD) regarding the timings and records and the same for the download. Upload tends to be the complete set of tables (records = 0 for no activity), while the download is only active tables and includes a full refresh occurred
You can get information for the MGP process via mgp_history c$ and c$ mgp_his_clients
As all the repository data is stored in the database, there are a lot of possibly interesting things if you look through it.

How is due date calculated in Oracle accounts payable
Hello
On what basis is calculated to the due date of an invoice.
Say that payment terms are 10 days.
That only takes into account the days or weekends and holidays as well.
The due date is calculated on the basis of the date of invoice or the date of receipt?
Kind regards
Amanda
Hello
Please see the following content.
Of the APLIST, the calculated due Date is correct. The invoice was created the
May 17, 2010 and received was created on May 20, 2010. Later, when the Bill was
validated, the system has recalculated the payment as plans ' recalculate payment
Schedules has been activated. The system has generated the due date as June 19, 2010, for a term of
-Net30.
Here's how the calculation of the due date:
---------------------------------------------------------------
--> In general, Due date get calculated based on the most recent available departure dates. Date the most recent available beginning is derived according to the following formula.
Greatest (Goods_Received_Date + Receipt_Acceptance_Days, Invoice_Date, Terms_Date).
-> In the algorithm above, Goods_Received_Date is a date which is filled on the invoice based on terms_date_basis to the provider/site level.
a. If terms_date_basis = "Goods received" so Goods_Received_Date get filled.
(b) if terms_date_basis = "Invoice received" or anything else then, Goods_Received_Date is null.
-> Receipt_Acceptance_Days is the number of days defined for "Receiving acceptance days" the tab invoice Options in Payables.
-> So, the due date is the most recent DATE of INVOICE, DATE CONDITIONS, GOODS RECEIVED ACCEPTANCE DATE + RECEPTION DAYS.
-> In the case of a corresponding invoice, the system takes into account the date of the Transaction of reception of the
Reception for the calculation of a recent start date, because sometimes the DATE OF RECEIPT of GOODS is zero. This feature is available from the beginning only 11i. See bug #1655225 for more details.
a.So first system determines the recent date of GOODS RECEIVED DATE + RECEPTION ACCEPTANCE DAYS and TRANSACTION DATE of RECEIPT.
b.After that checks most recent date from the defined formula again.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If the customer does not want the system to use "Date of receipt" and then disable "recalculate the payment plans.
If the customer wishes a new calculation, the system considers "Date of receipt" to a corresponding invoice.

Use: OLD and: NEWS in the triggers without oracle for each line
I use Oracle 10 g.
I want to insert a row in the table of the newspaper by each Witch of the query is executed on a table.
And I want to insert on the line at a table of detailed log for each row changed in a query.
I want to add modification date and time for each line in the two tables of the newspaper and I want it to be similar.
So, I'm curious about using old and new variables without using for each row on the creation of the trigger. Is this possible?
Or maybe I can score some variables static for this query (so sysdate will be the same and some of the Pavilion for the insertion of small newspapers)?
Or maybe is there other ways to do it?LeopoldStoch wrote:

Why counter traction task produced low?
Joined a vi that has a task to analog input, triggered by a meter output. The meter has high idle state and responds to a push button on the front panel by a low pulse of term. This material controls output to the system under test and is also used to trigger the task to HAVE it. The problem is that from the task to HAVE it pulls the output low counter. I use a USB-6341 device, which the meter output is PFI13. When he looking on scope, I saw a few unexpected bahavior of the output of the counter. I put the meter output in analog input and track resulting is displayed on the front panel:
The meter output is low due to the task of GOT it, then at the start of the task of meter output it goes high (resting State) briefly, then makes the desired low pulse this task triggers the AI, returning to high. The problem is that it then goes low when the task to HAVE it is restarted (not visible on the front panel). I need this line to stay high all the time except during the desired pulse. I have found a workaround by the AI of PFI0 of trigger job and routing PFI13 to PFI0 internally, but I do not understand why the version posted here does what he does. A trigger line must be an entrance to a task of GOT it, and begin the task should not affect his State. I thought the task of AI may use the meter so I tried using a different counter but got the same results. Using a trigger to start with no samples before release did not have either no difference.
Richard
Hi Richard,
Digital lines actually have 3 States:
- High output
- Low output
- High impedance (input)
When you use the PFI line for an input trigger, the typical desired state would be high impedance. X series cards use an internal resistance of the drop-down list of ~ 50 kOhm, pulling the line low when it is configured as an input. Engage the task of GOT it, which is to set up the PFI line as input.
If you want to trigger the analog task on the output of the meter, I suggest to use the internal output of the meter without going through the PFI lines. You need to activate produce terminals via the right-click menu on the Terminal control DAQmx / constant:
In this way, the meter may continue at the exit on the PFI line and the task of the AI don't tent not tri - state PFI line. You don't have to do all the external connections.

How to use stored procedures of database instead of triggers in database?
Hi gurus
Here in SQL / PLSQL community discussion, I read some discussions that the stored procedures of database are better and 9should be used instead of database triggers.
But despite reading 10s of discussions, I am unable to understand how a stored procedure may be an alternative to a DB-trigger while having many differences.
And even if I'm using a DB instead of DB-trigger procedure, then at what level I should call? of my application, oracle forms IE?
And should I write 3 different procedures, each of them for the Insert, update and delete while I can manage all of these events from a single trigger?
Will you please advice me for this because I am using widely especially triggers to maintain the Stock / inventory, update several tables of a trigger n etc.
PS... I'm working on the database 10g Rel.2.
I use extensively since Oracle 7 database triggers (database Oracle 6 had no triggers).
I use it mainly for complex integrity checks and sometimes for the calculation of derived data.
So, I do not accept that "database triggers are evil".
It is often said that, instead of triggers in database, we use the API (API function, better than the table API).
However, the API may not always replace triggers.
Excellent explanation is given by Toon Koppelaars in 'triggers considered harmful, considered harmful' http://harmfultriggers.blogspot.com/
Regarding your question, it is possible to make the procedures of database to work with Forms - Yes, it is possible.
You can make the database to INSERT, UPDATE, and DELETE procedures and call them before or / and after INSERT / UPDATE / DELETE triggers of forms.
Another option is to use on INSERT / UPDATE / DELETE triggers of forms.
Please note that I do not use these forms to work with the Oracle database triggers. In my view, database triggers are much better.
The third variant will create a data block in a procedure that uses a "table of records.

Alignment of forms of Oracle - Oracle adf page alignment.
Hi experts,
-jdev 11.1.1.5.0 - adfbc.
I would like to start topic on the pages of jsff/jspx ADF using the time consumption component alignment. and then the lower consumption of time on oracle form alignments.
If an Oracle Forms.report devlopers know on center top, left, right... jacks simply select once hit get aligned in a nice way
am not compare to subject of cell technology.
My question is:
are there other components in jdev will reduce my time to design makeup my more intelligent and faster. beautiful in alignments with small quantity time.
so far,.
Perhaps another way. I dnt know I put a lot of time in desgining than my business logic.
If I lend to prepare adf page means
design time take 5 h per day.
Business logic & validations and blah blah sometimes preety hard. but it happened less than three hours.
am feel free to use of façade in the adf. but sometimes ran into trouble (not errors) some ugly degins made by me.
not bad, I learned a few things here (to the adf pages desgins) and some blogs. Although a few times I did mistakes in the designs.
could someone show me this way. How quickly in the desgins. ?ADF7 or user707,
I recommend that you play with the possible combinations and the page layout components. You may not assume that we have the answers for each question, something that you need to find yourself.
You're the one who knows what your user interface should look like, then you are best placed to adopt components of ADF layout to your need. ADF is not forms, so you can't expect that both look or behave the same (wise gui).Timo
P.S.: What the change of name again? Why not give us your real name?
