Performance problem: entries needing

Dear all,

I have the SECONDARY table with 100 plate having indexes on key columns that are frequently used for filter criteria in my application. If I create a table nested with only key column and the primary key of the DETAIL table and then use this newly created in the select queries with SECONDARY table. I can't perforamance improvement using this lower number of table columns. and how? Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

Be cautious in this statement. This is serious, but not in the way that your initial question was asked.  The presence or absence of index influence the optimizer.  Too much index or indexes that are never used can also slow down your inserts and updates without any advantage over select.  The types of indexes, you choose to importance.  Your original question, yes - you do understand, there is no advantage in the construction of a second table to make (less effective) already makes the index.

  • On query performance problem. Need help.

It is essentially a performance problem. I hope someone can help me with that.

    Basically, I have four old masters (150000 records), (100000 records) Child1, Child2 (50 million records!), child 3 (10000 + records)
    (please forgive the alias).

Each record in the master has now more than one matching record in each table child (one to many).
Also there may be any record in any or all of the tables for a particular master record.

Now, I need to get the maximum of last_updated_date for each master record in each table 3 child and then find the maximum of
the three obtained last_active_dates from the 3 tables.
for example: Master ID 100, to interrogate Child1 for all Master ID 100 records and get the max last_updated_date.
Same for the other 2 tables and get the most out of these three values.
(I also need to deal with cases where no trace may be found in a child table to a Master ID)

Write a procedure that uses sliders that the value of each of the performance hits of child table
evil. And that's, I need to know the last_updated_date for each master file (all 150000 of them). It will probably take days to do this.

    SELECT MAX (C1. LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
    MAX (C2. LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
    MAX (C3. LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
    OF CHILD1 C1
    CHILD2 C2
    CHILD3 C3
    WHERE C1. MASTER_ID = 100
    OR C2. MASTER_ID = 100
    OR C3. MASTER_ID = 100

I tried the above, but I got an error in tablespace temp. I don't think that the application is good enough at all.
(The GOLD clause is to take care of any records in a child table. If there is an AND, then the join and then select
No, not even if there is no record in a child table, but valid values in the other 2 tables).

    Thank you very much.

You want alias to this field then.

    SELECT MAX (C.LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
    FROM
    (select child1_master_id MASTER_ID, field2, field3,... field4 from CHILD1 UNION ALL
     select child2_master_id MASTER_ID, field2, field3,... field4 from CHILD2 UNION ALL
     select child3_master_id MASTER_ID, field2, field3,... field4 from CHILD3) C
    WHERE C.MASTER_ID = 100

If do you something like that, and explicitly list the columns you want.

Edit: for something like a specific query for a MASTER_ID...

    SELECT MAX (C.LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
    FROM
    (select child1_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD1 where child1_master_id = 100 UNION ALL
     select child2_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD2 where child2_master_id = 100 UNION ALL
     select child3_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD3 where child3_master_id = 100) C
    WHERE C.MASTER_ID = 100

That should give you very good performance by raising a record. But a better idea, as indicated, would be to get it all at once with a sql:

    SELECT MASTER_ID, MAX(C.LAST_UPDATED_DATE)
    FROM
    (select child1_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD1 UNION ALL
     select child2_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD2 UNION ALL
     select child3_master_id MASTER_ID, LAST_UPDATED_DATE from CHILD3 ) C
    GROUP BY MASTER_ID

This will give you the max for each MASTER_ID in a sql without a cursor.

Is it possible to go beyond these two error messages and their blue screens to get my system working again? If so, how?

    Hello

Error code 24 characters is a failure of the short test (DST) disk Self and would indicate that hard is defective and must be replaced.  It is also consistent with your description of the problem.

If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP and arrange for the disk replaced - if necessary, you can check the status of your warranty here.

If you live in the United States, contact HP here.

If you are in another part of the world, begin here.

If you are no longer under warranty, it's a fairly simple procedure to replace the HARD drive yourself - a brief guide on this is below.

Readers on the following links are examples that would be perfect for your laptop.

    Hard drive 500 GB

    750 GB hard drive.

    1 TB laptop hard drive.

The procedure to replace the hard drive begins on Page 56 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

About reinstalling Windows 10 on new HARD drive, as long as the previous installation of Windows 10 had activated Ok after upgrading to Windows 7/8.1, you can simply create your own Windows 10 installation media and perform a new installation as described in the guide on the following link.  Note: On the activation screen, select "I have not a product key" - Windows will activate automatically once installation is complete.

These screens generally include a sentence in the screen "fallen on problems." Usually something like Violation of Watchdog DPC (Deferred procedural call) and are often associated with a bad driver and or a power saving state not supported (sleep, hybrid sleep, hibernate, etc.,)

First of all, make sure that you have the latest drivers from your computer manufacturer and or the individual device manufacturer's Web site. Then consider whether this computer manufacturer includes any software that may be incompatible with Windows 8 CP or is somehow patented conflict with Windows 8 CP in energy saving power scheme options. You may need to experiment a little, maybe remove the proprietary tools or taste affecting your schema of high performance or even the options down or max.

Blue screen of death (BSOD) may be caused by software or hardware problems.
To know if it of really a software problem, you can try running a HARD drive recovery procedure which would fix the laptop back to factory settings.

If you are still having problems with Windows Explorer crashing, I suggest to consider the suggestion offered by ShadowKat:

"Hello people, it seems that some guys out there are still having trouble with this random crashes. I have the same problem, except that it happens every time that I go to my media files on my NAS. It seems that there is a bug or something with windows that causes this problem when you access a folder to storage media like mine, especially when the size of the file is very large (archive all my discs of film there for convenience and continuous =), about 1 TB of data). Windows capable of generating thumbnail images for your files and blocks the Explorer as well.

I solved this by going to my computer > click the "Organize" (upper-left) > folder and search options > view tab check "Show icons, never thumbnails" option and uncheck the "display file on the photos." This prevents windows to generate images and solved the problem for me. Less visually flashy Yes, but at least not need a cloth and restart is).

The best way to solve this maybe just create a new user account, transfer your personal data to this account, and then delete the old account. Make sure that you perform the system restore after you did the new account and everything works fine. To purge the system restore, simply disable it then again. Be aware that the creation of a new user account is not the means to get rid of malware. But it is perhaps the best way to get rid of some of the after effects. However, I recommend you scan with Malwarebytes before running these instructions. After scanning you may not create the new account.

In addition, Jose is correct. Good number of new forms of malware prevent the start in safe mode. Trying to force booting in SafeMode with msconfig, you end up with a boot loop.
