Phase problem

I'm using LabVIEW 7.1 and windows 2000

I'm trying to measure the difference in phase between the 2 signals. The results I get are from 0 to 360. Below zero, it reads - 360.

Is there a way to get the results of-180 to 180 degrees?

the VI I use as well as the Subvi running part of the phase is attached.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Thank you

Surprisingly, there is a vi to do this

    Hello

    I use jdeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.7.0,

    When I implemented the following code of the page does not not to any action.

    the code is:

    {} public void phaseEventFun (PhaseEvent phaseEvent)

    ExternalContext ectx =

    FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getExternalContext ();

    HttpServletResponse response = (HttpServletResponse) ectx.getResponse ();

    response.setHeader ("Cache-Control",

    "no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate");

    response.setHeader ("Pragma", "non-cache" "");

    response.setDateHeader ("Expires", 0);

    }

    anyone can give an answer, please

    Thank you.

    First, you must run the code in phase RENDER_RESPONSE (and not in all phases).

    Second, we know not if it is 'after' or 'before' phase listener (it should be forward phase)

    And third, phase listener is not good place to control caching (you must use servlet filter, or put a few proxy (like apache or nginx) and control the http headers it)

    Director may produce an HTML element and you can choose amongst different based on templates through the
    HTML tab in the publication settings dialog box. The default value is default Shockwave.
    There is one called Center Shockwave, which uses a table I think. I think that all the
    models will build HTML color the color of your scene. To get
    total control of the HTML formatting, I suggest that you open in Dreamweaver.
    People who know the code HTML can I use a text editor to edit the html file.
    But Dreamweaver is an easy to use editor which allows you to set the
    background color, Center the DCR and do a range of formats to the page. I would say
    you need to do some formatting to the page in any case as the model fields
    Director of output are could use tweaking in other areas (such as the title of the page).

    Audacity? Do you mean the hearing?

    I think you'll have a little difficulty to do this anyway, as the clocks of scanning in the pickups will not be synchronized. Which means that even if you can get two of them work, elimination will be in every sense. You can persuade two microphones to work at the same time without too much difficulty, but this only works if you have two independent sources that do not have to have any kind of relationship of phase, and it is the relationship of phase which actually do stereo work.

    There is, as far as I know, only decent stereo micro USB, and the Tricapsule Yeti, one blue. It crosses all phase problems in having everything digitized by the only encoder, so all the problems of phase are sorted completely.

  • His grave suddenly on a DVD player, but in the first, still and WM Player

    Hello

    The sound on the DVD I burned in still suddenly falls to almost inaudible--but only when played on a DVD player! The problem does not occur on a computer (well in the first, still and DVD sounds good on all players like windows media, real player, etc.).

    Drop noise happens in the same place, about 40 seconds in the 1/2 hour video. Then, the sound blasts at full volume for the end credits I inspected the 2 audio tracks in the first and track volumes do not change, nor my knots of volume control in the securities themselves explain the problem.

    Why it would sound good in all applications on a computer, but not on a DVD player... and why the first 40 seconds would sound good on the DVD player?

    I could hear volume of 'regular' dialogue in the left and much softer, but not absent, in the right. I can't guarantee this isn't an artifact on this end.

    I think you have solved the audio problem at first. Looks like you have a stereo audio track from a source who had a microphone in a single channel. Instead of panning, "fill right" (or left, I always have to check myself on this) so that you get the dialogue on both sides.

    I don't think that you dismissed a phase problem. But I suspect that when solve you the problem of the track, your audio will be correct.

  • A swept the problem of sinusoidal displacement measure phase

    Hi all

    I'm performing a simple measure: I measure frequency response using sinus swept VI package audio and vibration. I just wire output signal to two terminals of input (chanels stimulus and response) - so I should get magnitude frequency response is equivalent to '1' at all frequencies and phase equal to '0' at all frequencies. However due to the fact that my card PCI (PCI-6251) is not able to save data simlutaneously, there is a phase shift that increases linearly with frequency. Is there a simple way to solve this problem?

    Thank you!

    1. when I put the sampling rate of less than 40MS/s IQ, I can obversve very good phase locked Tx and Rx signals (I use a sine wave CW for tests), please refer to video joint (locked 40MSs)
    2. BUT, when I put the IQ more than 60 MS/s sampling rate, I'll lose phase lock. Please refer to unlocked 60MSs. My goal is to run the system at 120MS/s
    I have doubt as to if the problem comes from two sides:
    a. the sync methed isn't fair
    b. OR, should I increase the clock that operates the loop 'In Streaming radio engine' in the FPGA VI. as shown in the following image.

  • Bill land - problem with phase

    I have a problem of implementation during the attempt to produce traces of Bode for my team designed the hardware. I have now successfully been able to produce the data you expect, with a single question. Part of the phase of data points are the opposite of what is expected. I'll explain the process used...

    The material, I log in allows me to inject the signals on channels, but also the flow of these channels of my PC application for analysis. The function that I'm trying to replicate is a frequency sweep, as follows:

    -major equipment to replace a channel (the stimulus) with an sine wave frequencies, f

    -broadcasting the channel stimulus as well as his response to a certain channel number of cycles, P

    -the analysis ("transfer function") on the stimulus and data stream response strings

    -connect the frequency (f) with the phase intended to produce a Plot of Bode and corresponding calculated magnitude

    -increase the frequency (f) and repeat steps

    TransferMag = 20 * log10 (TransferMag);
    TransferPhase = RadToDeg (TransferPhase);

    Free (FFTSweepIn);
    Free (FFTSweepOut);
    Free (TimeInMag);
    Free (DontCareArr);

    It works almost perfectly. The problem is that the calculated phase will be positive when there should be negative and vice versa.

    Here's a graph of the data produced:

    This is what is expected:

    Here are the two bunk:

    The expected plot was produced by the log file of cheating. I went and I didn't change the incorrect points to negative values. I want to eliminate this step. As you can see, if incorrect data are reflected on the zero line, it's what we expect. This "expected" given corresponds to what material Analyzer of my colleague (Venable device) when it is used on our device.

    We believe that the issue is not with carried out complex math, but a problem in the FFT function or the selection of the index to use on the data table.

    Hi PedroMunoz,

    It was random semi.

    With the help of a licensed physicist with a PhD, the solution was discovered.

    When a FFT is performed, the output is a complex signal frequency. Convert this signal complex in amplitude and phase. The signal amplitude must contain a pic. The ridge of the signal amplitude is located at the frequency at which the sample represents. I understood.

    However, reading the FFT also of output magntiude contains a second peak. This second peak is negative frequency, and to analyze these data point conjugate complex is necessary. This second Summit should theoretically have the same amplitude, described as:

    F (f) = F * (-f)

    What interests me in recovering is F (f). What was happening was because F (f) and F * (-f) are theoretically the same (hence, they should the two registry as the maximum value of the table), F * (-f) would sometimes be picked up as the maximum value of the table instead of F (f), perhaps because of the noise. So I just need to make sure that I'm not the negative frequencies in my table.

    To ignore the F * (-f), all I had to do was only to watch a half of my output of the FFT. When I change my code for:

    TimeInMag = malloc (gSweepCountMax/2 * sizeof (double));
    DontCareArr = malloc (gSweepCountMax/2 * sizeof (double));

    for (i = 0; i
    {
    ToPolar (FFTSweepIn [i] .reellement, FFTSweepIn [i] .imaginary & TimeInMag [i], & DontCareArr [i]);
    }
    MaxMin1D (TimeInMag, gSweepCountMax/2, & DontCare, & MaxMagIdx, & DontCare, & DontCareIdx);

    I'm ignoring the negative frequencies. By setting the parameter 'shift' of CxFFTEx to FALSE, it organizes the positive frequencies in the first half, then the negative frequencies in the second. I pick up is no longer the wrong index, which would result in the phase reverse reading.

    I hope this helps someone else in the future!

  • Problem with the generation of multi-sinus wavefrom of random phase using PXI-5412

    Hello

    I am trying to generate random phase multi-sine waveform using the PXI-5412 14 bits 100 M/s AWG on LabVIEW8.0.

    The version of LabVIEW8.0 for the PXI-5412 comes with a sample VI on multi-tone waveform generation. When I tried with a different combination of frequency and amplitude, there is no problem with the sample VI.

    Because I need the phase to be random for each frequency component, I had tore the tone cluster containing 3 elements, i.e. frequency, amplitude and phase, which feeds the generator of signals, and rebundle the cluster with elements of reading a CSV file by using a loop, a fixed value amplititude and a number of random phase of the frequency generated by a random number (formula lournies elements (: pi - 2pi x r). When the waveform multi-sinusoidale generated on the PXI-5112 100 MHz Digital Oscilloscope, it was pointed out that the waveform would change with the tested frequency range.  However, the amplitude of the wave is always ~1.4V (guess that's always default to 1 V x sqrt (2)).  There is no question also when testing the same combination of frequency and amplitude by using sample VI without modification.

    Please find attached the VI of the sample, snatching up to the version and the CSV file I used. Is there something wrong with the table 1 d of the cluster of 3 elements that I built and assembled causing the signal generator to ignore the value of input amplitude and, possibly, the input value of the same phase (as it seems that the amplititude is always set to the default)?

    The other question that I found on the two sample VI and ripped version is on the news of sampling.  The waveforms appear on digital Oscilloscope PXI-5112 always default to 10 cycles no matter how changed the sampling frequency and the number of samples.  For example, if the frequency is 10 Hz, sampling frequency is 1000 Hz, and I put the number of samples to 10000.  I'm supposed to get 10000/100 = 100 cycles.  However, I could see 10 cycles no matter how, I changed.  What should be the correct way to change the number of cycles?

    Really appreiciate your help and advice. Thank you.

    1 phase unit is in degrees (-180 to 180), no - pi pi.
    2 standardize Waveform.vi always normalize your amplitude of the signal. You can remove it to use your desired amplitue, but must make sure that it is not above 5412 spec.

  • Questions about circuit RC phase difference (possible timing problem)

    Hello

    Here is the program that I use to measure the phase difference in an RC circuit. Simply generate a sine wave of 2 kHz in LabView and send it to the circuit using an analog output. Then I measure the exit sinusoid using an analog output. I also measure using n oscilliscope. I can clearly measure the difference in phase with the oscilliscope and know that it is about 1.4 radians.

    Problems with the program:
    Phase difference different measured each time the program is run for the circuit. It is never as good.

    Possible causes:

    You will notice by looking at the vi that I measure the phase from the signal generator. Can I use a second analog input to measure the sine wave, as it came out at the beginning of the circuit?

    I think it's a timing issue. While the phase difference is constant each time the program varies each track. So the time that each measurement of tone starts its first measure seems to be different every time and causes this reading of different phase.

    The card that I use is a PCI-6221, is there a timing problem associated with switch for input and output audio acquistion or are they separated.

    Is anyway to ensure that two key measures measure phase at the same point in the (real) time?

    I would really advice or changes to the program - could someone offer me (I am a student and LabVIEW is not on our program so I have no support, but I use it for my project (OH!))

    I would certainly acquire two signals.  Food for the analog output right back into an analog input, then your signals filtered in another.

    Initially, I would feed the two analog inputs of the analog output and measure the delay in phase due to the multiplexed A/D on map.  Once you have this measure, you can feed in the filtered signal and then measure the difference of phase of this signal.

  • 1800 to ASA VPN problem, fail to Phase 2

    Hello

    I have a series of 1800 running IOS 12.4 (6) T11 and an ASA 5505 8.2 I try to connect using a lan lan tunnel 2 running.

    1800:

    WAN a.b.c.141

    LAN 192.168.0.0/24

    ASA5505:

    WAN x.y.z.125

    LAN 10-180.3.0/24

    The 1800s also has pptp, 172.16.99.0/24 network clients.

    Problem:

    When I try to establish a connection to a host on a local network to another, I can see who works for phase 1. In phase 2, some interesting debugging messages are observed:

    From what I see, the cisco 1800 seem to put an end to the tunnel because it meets some of the options phase 2.

    I think it might be because of NATing on each side. I'm a little unsure on the NAT of the 1800 config, if he tries to nat the 192.168.0.0/24 as it passes above the tunnel?

    Hello

    I don't see an exemption from nat configured on the router.

    Please, try the following:

    overloading the IP nat inside source route NATMAP interface map.

    I hope this helps.

    Kind regards

    Anisha

  • Problem with Phase 1 not to come.

    Hi all

    I have a very complicated problem.

    Side A - ASA 5510

    Side B - Cisco 891

    Side B initiates the connection,

    Settings of the phase 1

    Pre-shared, AES-256, DH Grp 5, Hash - SHA, life - time 28800.

    Now, it wasn't an IKE policy to this value on the SAA, so I added a (see screenshot).

    And the remote end added / changed their phase 1a (ASA) to match the default entries in the end side.

    But what we get on the log of the ASDM is the second screenshot say about game set on configured policies.

    One of the ideas about what is wrong.

    Thank you very much

    Stephen

    So far, if you si vous etes are able to get the end site is very good. At least you can ask what is the other end of the UK tunnel configuration.

    Also based on the Diffie - Hellman Group newspapers 5 is coming, and group 2 is set try changing that might solve your problem.
