Phonebook C20

Hello

is it possible to see the contents of the directory implemented through telnet or SSH on the Codec C20? I want to be able to tell if the system is to learn a repertoire of MSDS and whats inside without really physically go to the system.

On older MXP systems there were never a problem because you could see the directory through the web interface.

It would be nice to see what titles in the system directory actually gets.

According to a colleague, there IS a way, but he can't fins it more

Michel,

What can I say (via SSH), "Search directory xcommand" is the direction you want to go.

For example, ' xcommand search directory phonebooktype: company "returns a list of records from the phone book and number of entries in each file.

' xcommand directory search phonebooktype: corporate searchstring: limit "Insert a current text variable" : "Insert the number here" returns all entries with a common variable.

I'm sure there are additional search parameters to dig deeper, but this seems to be the direction that where you want to go.

I sent this question to support as well so if I get a response from them, I will post it here.

I have a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with the connectiivity of the standard bluetooth for phones. I just brought the Bravo today as an Update/replacement for my HTC Tilt (two AT & T) running windows mobile 6.1. This phone works well with the system of the vehicle. Press the listen button and say the name, confirmation and dial away. The output contacts via a CSV download to my gmail account has worked very well and the calendar.

I had configured the coupling on the car for the phone and the great connection worked for audio, but when I tried to enter the name of the system could not complete the order, no names. I can dial a number verbally so that link works fine but not the phone book download. When the ignition is on and the Bluetooth connect phone emits a beep and the status line displays the message "application download phonebook", but that's all. The car system will normally display directory download at this stage, but all I get now is completed connection.

    All suggestions welcomed

    @shackcf,

Thanks for sharing! I'm glad that you were able to make it work. You can also try mark your second post as 'responded' so than others who have the same problem would be able to locate this answer easily.

    Hello

I am looking for the part number of the hard drive carrier to the c20. I was looking at the part of the c30 (03W5463) number of lenovo and only found support page.

They share the same part number?

    Thank you.

The C30 hdd carrier should work ok in the C20 as the C20 and C30 share the same mechanical chassis design.

  • Microphone C20 length Max extension cable

    Nice day

I would like to know if it will be possible to extend the standard microphone C20 cable last 15 m...

    Thank you!

    Hey Martin

We can use the extension for the microphones to C20. Even its listed in the parts and components Guide:

    CTS-QSC20-MIC =

20 and 7.5 m of performance Mic cable attached

    CAB-MIC20-EXT =

    Extension cable 10 m for CTS-QSC20-MIC, 3.5 mm F 3.5 mm M

So we can say that you can use the microphone with 2 extension = 37.5 meters, a little more of 90 feet.

    Thank you

  • Some headphones on a c20?

If it's rare, but ask me, I have no c20 in the office, if not tried, but the C20 pickup gives 10-12 V voltage and a microphone are not only a hadset (PC) is in favour to create noise.

It is rare, but if someone did me a big favor...

    Thank you

You can connect headphones to the C20.  You can use the RCA on the C20 outputs to connect the headphones - this should be relatively simple (with 3.5 mm - adapter RCA law).

For the microphone, it will be a bit more complex that, ideally, you will have to convert the microphone asymmetrical helmet on a balanced input to the C20 - and preferably not connect the ring of power.  There are some information about the connection of 3 party microphones already in the forums and elsewhere as well.  They both mention the SX20, but the C20 will be similar.

  • Upgrade of Tandberg E20, EX90 and C20

    Dear Experts,

I have Tandberg old endpoints with versino points and I want to upgrade in order to be registered to CUCM natively.

    C20 version is T3.1.2

    EX9-version is T3.1.2

E20 I am unsure with the version.

    I want to install C20 and EX90 T7.0 and E20 version to version T4.1

What is required for the upgrade, which is the steps? is there an intermediate version upgrade or we can do a direct upgrade later.

    Thanks in advance

    Anas

    Hello

You can go forward with a direct upgrade. It's not a problem but its compatibility with the version of cucm depends on.
Olexsander having already asked of the cucm verion it is critical info just in case you are not running on a more recent/compatible version and not in a situation of cucm upgrade.

  • C20 / VCS disconnect

    Hello

We always seem to have problems calling VCS VCS systems with endpoints via internet. We lack 7.2 on our VCS and remote society running 7.1 on the VCS. Calls connect ok but there are drops randomly during the session 3, session of 1 h 30. I checked the C20 error logs and you can find this error - can anyone explain highlights lines below? or explain why I get disconnected?

    Hi Rod,

It is not easy to guide you to the first cause, why endpoint disconnects the call, with the information and the log summary above.

I recommend you open a support ticket with Cisco and also to join the journal of diagnosis (with DEBUG level) of two VCS, if possible, as well as newspapers for endpoints in the call. Then we should be able to find the cause of this problem.

Normally, the B2B calls are disconnected due to safety, for example incorrect firewall configurations or application layer, as correction active etc. H323 gateways.

It is also good to exclude scenarios; as this phenomenon happens with any point of termination? Of each location? At each location? Where registered endpoints, and firewall etc. does cross when it is a failure.

    Hope this helps,

    Arne

  • do C20 to call outside 8.6 CUCM

    Hi Experts,

I have in my project C20 telepresence and 8.6 CUCM, I want to be able to call remotely, and I want to know what I have to do to 8.6 CUCM and voice gateway if needed. Some people told me I should do NAT, but I don't want to do NAT. I want to make it through by CUCM 8.6. And what is the possibility to appeal through URI in CUCM 8.6.

    Thank you for all

    Mohammad Saeed

For voice calls, just register your C20 against CUCM and it'll work just like any standard Cisco VoIP phone. (And so use whatever the gateways/SIP trunks you got set for the external connectivity)

If you want to make video calls outside CUCM, then you must make some changes to the CUCM. Basically, you'll want to be able to make/receive the SIP (or maybe H.323) calls on the ' net. Exactly what are the changes will depend on what you want to do, but my money is on that you need to have somewhere of the VCS in the mixture.

  • C20-isdnlink troubleshooting call

I have a codec C20 and an adapter isdlink with Numéris.

I try to call C20 ISDN destination with '10.125.11.5; x-h320number = isdnnumber', but the call does not work.

In the journal of the c20, I can see something like 'type 3 door not supported '.

    Can you help me?.

    Thank you

Hello. Hello.  Watching the xcon since the link module, instead of putting the peer GW URI like IP address, can you remove it and put it in the host field counterpart versus the counterpart URI?

If your still having a problem placing a call after this change, open a session module ISDN link and run the following and capture the output to a text file:

    (1) xcon

    xstat 2)

    (3) newspaper ctx sippacket debug 9

    output log 4) on

    (5) systemtools isdntrace decode on

    (6) systemtools isdntrace on

    isdntrace output 7) systemtools on

Call SIP instead of the system connected to the link Module to see if the SIP call comes on the module, and the ISDN Trace to output, hopefully, we'll see what happens with the appeal, it turns off the ISDN network.

Disable the recording after the call failure occurs:

    (1) log out offshore

    isdntrace output 2) systemtools off

    (3) off isdntrace systemtools

    (4) log ctx sippacket debug 0

Let us know if that helps.  Thanks in advance.

  • C20 how do upgrade the software?

    Hello

    I want to improve C20 version 6.3.0

    now the version is 4.1

I've been upgraded to 4.1 to 6.3. But 'Dead demand' message T_T

    Can you help me?

    Thank you.

Yes, it's possibel to upgrade codec C20 directly from TC4.x to TC6.x (or even the new version TC7.0.1).

If you are having problems, this via a web browser, there are other methods that can be used (as mentioned by Martin).  See the instructions on how to update via SCP which might be worth a try - they worked for me on a few occasions where I needed to use them.
