Photo Dropshadow w / Transparent background

Many a new user here. Anyway, in CS5 I'm doing some pictures have a shadow with a transparent background effect, so they can be published on the different colors of background or models. The problem is that when I record, the background is white or artifacts. I tried to create a new transparent layer, expanding, adding the drop shadow, if necessary cropping and economies in gif or png with transparency selected without result. I would like to know if there is another way.

Thanks for any help

You never want to save a transparent semi as a gif. always use a PNG image for that, regarding objects, make sure that the original transparency has no artifacts visable semi to start.

As long as the original transparency is actually clear artifacts he should always save this way.

I have been searching for an answer to this simple question on the web, but couldn't find an answer. Help would be appreciated.

I designed a page in indesign CS5 for publication in a magazine. I have a photo with a white background. The picture is a photoshop image. I put it in indesign as a psd.

On the screen, the white background merges with the indesign default color of white paper. No problem.

I wonder if I have to worry when the page will be published in the magazine: if not perfectly white, the color of the magazines pages will show the edges of the images in the magazine? What I have to work in photoshop to make the background of my photo transparent so that the edges of the image do not appear?

    On the screen: no problem

I'm afraid that the page will look like this with the edges of the photo showing if the paper is not perfectly white. Here, I changed the color of the paper in indesign in gray (color on the left). You can see the edge of the image with a white background:

White is the absence of color and, consequently, ink. Make sure the background is perfectly white and you should have no problem because nothing will be printed.

  • How to make my picture as a transparent background for my Web page?

Hi guys I am new to web design so please excuse if that seems like a silly question. I think my website in cs6 fireworks but I am able to edit the photo, I need transparent in photshop cs6 so according to what you feel would be best suited, please advise on how to make the image of the car in this picture below transparent. I need the lack of transparency in order for writing to finally go overboard, how would you recommend that I do this.

Please note that may also offer you constructive criticism on the overall design of the site. Banners and buttons are that consumers demand not so much can be changed with respect to that.

Not sure understand your question about transparent car image.  In web design you use with CSS background images then put real text in the HTML text of overlays on top of the image.

To change transparency in Photoshop, adjust the opacity or fill level on your layer.

  • Model photo with white #ffffff background appears gray on line, using Photoshop CS5.

Aloha! I am confused with this and need your help.

Here's what I want to do: create a transparent white border around my photo on a white background (blog post box is white). I use Photoshop CS5.

I tried saving the file as PNG, GIF, and JPG, but all appear as gray in the region I want as white.

Picture below, it's as well as my image appears on a white background. The area around the photo and behind the word "example" is the grey area which is white #ffffff on PS but otherwise appears when you post online (my blog on Blogger).

The top image is a PNG file, the background is a GIF image. The GIF is a little better but still gray. I would like to the surroundings to be white pure, so just, it blends into the white background (post region).

    Screen shot 2013-05-26 at 10.34.33 PM.png

This is the image I see on PS, it is white in the areas around the center of the photo, that's how I intend to the final image to look like:

    Postage-Test.jpg

I even chose my background (while creating a new document) in white for the background color. I even tried a transparent background, but everything what was making worse it and turn the background transparent to black when I post the image online.

Problem solved. I also posted in the forum of my blog and discovered that there is a problem. The blog platform I was using 'Blogger' recently introduced changes to the system and part of the change "auto-renforcee" photos, that's why my photos came with this shade of gray. I had to go into my settings and delete the auto-Enhancer. Oh my god!

  • How to make my Spry Menu transparent background bar?

I am a beginner and create my first website and just started coding for the first time today. I'm trying to do my transparent background behind the text, or at least replace the text + the background of a menu with my own photo. Is it possible that I can do as possible. You can get an overview of my problem here on my test site.

    http://visualizecontrollers.webege.com/

I'm trying to make it similar to my design that I made in photoshop. I change it a little though of course.

    http://gyazo.com/598320901c425f5c47a8118306d8506d

As you can see in the picture above, below the menu bar, there is a line with a small arrow pointing up under the House, don't worry about this. Will just change for each page I do.

If you want the code, I'm going here.

I have a backup plan if it is not possible. Can I just replace the menu with pictures that will respond as buttons when you click right align horizontal.

If you need additional information, please let me know!

I discovered how to change. If you have a default color as background of your Spry menu bar, simply click on the default code of the background color and then delete and leave the field blank. It will automatically make your transparent background.

  • CS 5.5: Strategy for the creation of a transparent background

Hi, I have an image existing low-resolution of my logo (see attached photo '01'). I am looking to have photoshop do the following:

    1. create a transparent background (so that I can put on a different background color)
    2. create a soft shadow (similar to '02' pic attached)

The final goal is to achieve the same effect found in the '02' image, but using the Brown appearance hand script of '01' image. I want to maintain the dark brown existing 'stroke '.

As I am new to photoshop and the image of '01' has some granular shadow existing effects, my attempts at selection are not good.

All high-level strategy or by referencing site links that could present some final .psd files is appreciated.

    Thanks in advance. Brad

A simple and direct way would be to use the magic wand tool to select the white area.  You may need to fool with the tolerance to get a good selection, then reverse to do a selection of just signing, excluding white background.

At this stage, with the enabled signature, use the function [refine edge] and make the result a layer with layer mask.  Use the brush of transition in this tool to help get rid of stains from white/blue.

The advantage of using a layer mask is that you can then manually paint black on the layer mask to hide additional things, such as dark pixels on the edges.

Once the signature is isolated so it is easy to add a layer of shadow effect.

  • Titles with transparent background - how? PE-10

    Hello

When I do a title it shows clear transparent on my video-photo - as you wish - in the preview window.

When sharing this video the title background black and the background video-image is not visible.

    I am perhaps doing wrong?

    Kind regards

    Koen

When you have a title or a video Clip on another element, another way to do the Fade Out is to add a Dip - in-black to the top tether, or title. Who will have the entire black screen. Many Transitions, such as crossfade and Dip - to-black may be unilateral or bilateral. As Dip - to-black will take the upper part (more Video Track) Clip to the black, which will do the same for the Clips below.

In your screen-cap, the title is in the Source monitor, which is most often used to trim a Clip, or a title. This Clip, or a title, takes over in the monitor Source by Dlb-clicking on it in the project Panel or in the case of a video Clip on the timeline. To load the title in the Titler (construction of the Panel title), it would be Dbl Click on it in the Timeline. Titration module is where it creates or changes the titles, and it has a set of tools along the right, but a Panel of Styles.

How did you create your title? If done module titration and you did not use all forms, she should have a transparent background. If the title has been created, it may, or may not, with a transparent background. Say that you create your title in Photoshop, or PSElements, on a black background, rather than with a transparent Background (note italic, as they refer to the lowest in a PS Image layer), then the title is black opaque and lacks transparency. That's why I ask how and where the title has been created.

Pre, assets stacked above the others in the video tracks in the Timeline, are just like sheets of acetate, or like the layers in PS and will cover everything below, unless there are "holes" in the superior asset, or transparency. Unfortunately, it may look a little confused in the Meadow, that transparency is not displayed in the same way as with the PS, which, by default, displays a gray/white checkered pattern. In the pre, it will show as not black, although it is transparent - no motive checkerboard - just nothing, so we see it in the dark.

With the titration module, the background is transparent, until something is added to it, to give it a certain opacity, as Type, shape or the work. With an image editing program, this context are usually opaque, unless steps are taken to create with a transparent background and then stores it in a format that supports transparency, PSD, PNG, etc... Most of the image formats do not support transparency.

Let us know just a little more on your title, and where and how it was created.

    Good luck

  • Can't get picture with transparent background to appear like this

I am quite new to PES (using version 6) so thank you in advance for any help you can offer!

I have a picture and made the background transparent and saved as a GIF file.  The opening, he shows up with the grid background.  Good so far.

When I drag this photo of the tray inside project (where I still see the bottom of checkerd) in the picture, I am trying, it comes with a solid gray background once fallen into this image.  So essentially, the background is more transparent.

How can I add this picture with transparent background to the image, I'm working on without a background / frame appear?  I have combed internet and cannot find an answer and searching this forum, still coming up empty.  I think the problem has to do with dragging it from the location of the project.  If not, how can I get in the picture, that I'm getting?

    Thank you!

    Kevin

In PES 6, dragging it to the top of the location of project creates a sort of layer of passthrough. Copy and paste, or drag it to the bottom of the image window the gif in the other file in the location of the project instead.

When you import images into Captivate 4, you are able to choose the color to make transparent. Have you tried selecting specifically?

To do this, insert the image and get in the slide. Double-click it so that you see the Image Properties dialog box. Follow what is described in the chart below:

  • How can I import an image with transparent background .png in the Vision Assistant?

    Hello

I am using the Vision Assistant of NOR. Here, I want to overlay one existing image with another. Therefore, I use the overlay Installer where can I import a .png image. If I do, I don't get

the transparent background of the back of the image, even, I was saved with a transparent background. The image is displayed with an orange background.

If I import the same image to any front panel for example, I see the picture on the right path with a transparent background. What I've done wrong? I have attached the image I want to use.

    Thank you

Hello! Don't know how to do this in the Vision Assistant. Try to use the overlay (bitmap) or convert your image into mask. Effect of transparency not supported in the Vision. What you can do in LabVIEW is something like this:

  • flattened draw without border and transparent background pixmap

    Dear members of the Forum,

I am completely new to LabVIEW and use especially for graphic animations.  I want to build a multimedia graphic where parts are dynamic (i.e. they change from red to green to indicate stopped execution of State respectively).  Some graphics that I found that is a tank with level controls and I intend to use these but I need to draw my own graphics and make them animated.  Most will be two binary States (i.e. red green) simple changes.

I found the 'Pixmap.vi flattened draw' and have used it to make a simple graphical change of two States (see attached vi).  The problem I have is that I don't want the border to be shown in the graphic image and I want to make the background transparent.  I've saved the file .jpg with transparent backgrounds but they come out with a white background.

Can anyone provide some simple explanations and advice please.

    Concerning

    Bunnykins,

Use the tool Palette. Go to the color tool. Click on the squares of color in the palette, and then assign the Foregraound and the background of transparent colors (white box with T top left when the color window is visible). Click the tool both on substance and on the border. Sometimes you may need to try several times on the border ge the exact position for the click.

Note that this makes it difficult to find the control, so make sure it's in the position you want and as you like before you make it transparent size.
