  You can also limit the size of your EditField to leave room for your BitmapField.  In theory, you need only substitute getPreferredWidth() for your EditField, but you may have to substitute layout() as well.

  It is private until you want to not to share with others, but if you want to share with others or to the general public you can easily do so. You must sign in with your Windows Live id ID to share your photos in SkyDrive, Flickr, Facebook and YouTube.

• Way to save Sticky Notes at the office closed AFTER SN?

  I just started to use app reminder of Win7. I noticed that, after closing the program in my taskbar, the note itself disappeared until I restarted the program SchoolNet. Of course, I'm in the habit of closing a program after that I'm done with its use; is there a way to get the Sticky Notes that I write, to stay on the desktop AFTER I stop the program itself?

  You are right. They are not saved, nor can they be saved to the desktop.

  Why close Sticky Notes If you want available on the desktop?

• SPA942 not visible to the network after factory reset

  Hello

  A while ago someone at our office a factory reset on one of our Linksys SPA942 phones.  He thought that it worked (it worked flawlessly; but our router has decreased. Great).  The sad thing is, from the factory, it did not work.

  The problem is that no matter what we try - DHCP or static IP - we do not seem to make this device visible on our network. As in, type us its IP address in a browser and do not see the Setup page.

  We have tried everything we can think of.  Subnet mask is correct. Addresses DNS and IP - PBX (for not they should really make a difference) are correct.  I don't see what the problem is.

  Can someone please offer a suggestion, before go me crazy? !!!

  First of all, thank you for your response. It prompted me to do some play. Here are the results, in case anyone else having a similar problem (a cable by a novice/cheapskate) stumbles across this post...

  We don't have a SPA9000. Simply, we have a Belkin router wired to four points:

  1. downstairs IP - PBX - work

  2. downstairs SPA942 & PC - both work

  3. downstairs SPA942 & PC - both work

  4 floor SPA942 (does not work) & PC (work)

  So... all PC connect perfectly to the Internet and the network, as do both phones down.

  Following the principle of your simple suggestion ("make sure that it is correctly connected to the network") and the first rule of tech support ("is the computer plugged in, sir?"), I decided to reject the hypothesis that the handset was at fault and check if the connection upstairs was to blame (even if the PC we have up there connects very well).

  Bingo! Telephone three works when it is plugged downstairs. Phone two, which worked fine at the bottom, does not work on the floor.

  So now I know what the problem is... but have no idea WHY the problem is. Why don't the floor point network working perfectly for each device I care to plug in - office book server, ATA, fax, you name it - and not for the SPA942?

  I changed all the cables around the router, in order to verify if there was something wrong with a specific port. That has not changed anything. Assume that all router ports are fine.

  So what does this leave... the cable? Seems unlikely, but all other possibilities have been rejected.

  So, I put the phone on the floor downstairs and plugged directly on the router, using another length of cable. Knit then all three phones.

  Look closer to the floor and found wiring that it is three separate lengths of CAT5, joined with connectors RJ45 base (suppose cabler could not to allow/couldn't be bothered buying a cable length).

  Last question... it is likely one of the lengths is a cable cross/patch... that all the devices other than our SPA942 are smart enough to understand this and to compensate accordingly? How the office is wired, it is very tedious and precarious (12 foot ceilings, etc.) to get in there and change the cable lengths, but obviously do so if it is the likely culprit.

• DVD drive not visible in Windows 7 after upgrade

  I'm having a problem with my "model of dvd burner super multi: GSA-T40N.» Was known to work on laptop with Vista installed. After reinstalling Vista on the new hard drive and set to upgrade to Windows 7 Enterprise cd player does not work.

  The device is detected in the bios and I can boot from it
  The device is not viewable in the computer once windows starts

  Searched the registry and there no low filters, when I delete the upper filters, and then raise the same problem occurs. Restocking the upper filters but the there is no lower filter.

  Has been showing in Device Manager with a yellow exclamation mark with error code 10 - the unit may not start. After removing the drive to find the manufacturer it now does not appear in Device Manager but have power to the player.

  Help! It is a older laptop and have just replaced the hard drive, don't want really to replace the dvd drive.

  First, find and install the motherboard chipset and other system for your notebook device drivers. The installation of Windows and Windows Update disc are unlikely to have the best drivers for your laptop and can not have everything for all or part of your devices.

  Check your laptop specifications and make sure that you install Windows 7 drivers.

  The manufacturer of the laptop could have first Windows 7 drivers. There are probably later and better drivers available.

  If you want to use the drive to read and save files on both mac & PC I think that you will need create separate partitions on the disk, a formatted for mac and one for the PC.

  The utility linked above only allows access to a mac formatted drive and access the data, having never had to use it I don't know if it allows you to save files PC to the mac player

  I got this printer from QVC, where they showed picture after printing of photo of people by sending them from all over the country.  When I sent a picture of my phone it printed a page saying Android, then the image with the word Android on the photo!  I prefer only to print the photo, not email.

  When you use ePrint, the message will always print before all attachments. That is how it is set up to work. You can check the HP ePrint home & Biz app. It is a free application that will allow you to print when it is connected on the same network as the printer.  When outside of the network printer you will still need to use ePrint.

• Synchronized adjustments of photo is NOT visible in the display of the grid, except if the photos are visible on the monitor?

  I find this behavior strange and annoying. Maybe that I've failed to set a correct preference or something, I'm looking for help. Let me explain in detail.

  OK, so I downloaded 900 RAW photos in LR that I am about to use for a period of time. I import them with the "auto tone" setting is applied.  Then, I take the first photo, make adjustments to it, select all the other photos and 'click' sync. I'm in the library grid view Module.  These photos which are visible on my monitor begin to appear the changes that have been applied to the first picture. However, after all the photos that are visible in the grid view show the changes I've made scroll down to see some of the other photos that were NOT visible.  Then, I find that these previously unseen photos have not been changed, but they immediately begin to change as soon as I scroll and they become visible.

  Why LR care I look?  He must know I have synced all and I want that they changed as soon as possible. I don't want to have to keep scrolling to get altered.

  I use a PC with the latest LRCC, Windows 10. But I "ve seen the same behavior on the old Mac too.

  I'm sure this is a normal behavior. If you make changes to a large number of image files (i.e. synchronization is possible with 900 images) previews are not automatically updated. This allows you to continue working on the other images without taking a performance while LR is based previews. The best advice I can give you is to select all the images that have just been published and in the library module, use the menu library > previews > build previews Standard (or 1:1 previews). It will take a while to update 900 previews and inside LR will be slowed until the completion. This gives you the ability to choose when it's convenient rebuild previews.
