  "Setup failed to initialize. File not found. ' or 'could not initialize installation. This could be due to missing files.

  first of all, rename folder OOBE OOBE.old.

  to find the OOBE:

  Win 64 bit OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

  Win 32 bit OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE

  Mac os: HD > library > application support of > adobe > caps

  Mac os: USER > library > application support of > adobe > OOB

  If it fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.

  If you use an installation dvd:

  Copy the contents of the drive in a desktop folder and install from this directory.

  If you are using a mac:

  1. try to create a new user account in Mac with administrator privileges.

  2. connect to the new user, navigate to Mac HD > Application > utilities > Adobe Installer folder, locate products such as Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and uninstall the

  3. navigate to the user library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

  4. navigate to Mac HD > library > Application Support > Adobe and Adobe put in the trash.

  5 restart the installation.

  I am trying to install a new copy of photoshop elements 10 from the DVD that I bought a few years ago, and it goes through the process until a message got saying technology Shared installation has failed and it starts to recede.  What should I do? My system is Windows 7.

  I downloaded Photoshop elements since the Mac App store 13. It worked fine for two weeks, but now I can't open, even if I re-uploaded. When I click on the Photo or Video Editor editing in the PE13 homescreen, I get this message box: "Please do not run this application from this application package. On the other hand, it please run Adobe Photoshop elements 13... from your Applications folder. "But when I launch it from the applications folder I get the same message, and I can not open editing Photo or Video Editor. (Organizer opens, however.) Any ideas?

• First elements 10 will not install!

  First 10 items won't install on my Mac.  Installing the drive. I get a bunch of words beginning with the caveat: DW031: for me, it's all just useless and unnecessary.  I followed the link to contact customer support, and this brings me to the most useless web site I have ever met.  What's so frustrating?  How to spend it?  It has already cost me hours of frustration.  I got a screenshot of the error state installation but page nowhere to send him.  BTW, photoshop elements loaded correctly on this computer.  HELP!

  Googling DW031 shows many objects similar or useful. It includes a link to the official response from Adobe. See if that solves for you.

• Photoshop Elements 10 will not be opened once closed, the computer restarted unless

  On a pc running Windows 7 64 bit if I close Photoshop Elements 10 it does not open again unless I reboot the PC.  Any ideas?

  Work around the intrusive screen by creating shortcuts on your desktop for the organizer and editor.  Use these icons to launch the program.

  Editor executable file is:

• Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 will not identify HP Photosmart Premium C410

  My HP Photosmart Premium C410 works with all my apps except Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 - what is optimal for imaging program!  The printer is defintely selected by default.  However, there are two options available on the page 'print' of the EP, and they are very close - which may indicate a problem.  First on the drop-down list is "HP Photosmart Prem C410 series fax", while the second (which I chose it) is "HP Photosmart prem C410 series.  Whenever I try to print from PES, it starts the fax process...!  Someone at - it ideas - all advice gratefully received.

  Please try to rename the "HP Photosmart Premium C410 series Fax' in 'PS C410 Fax. You can substitute:

  Open "printers".

  Click with the right button on the HP Photosmart Premium Fax C410 series and selecting rename

  If it still loads the fax when you printer here are a few steps that we can try.

  After that reinstallation of EP 11 (a re-setup Win 7) will not accept my NEF files.

  I had no problems before.

  My camera is a Nikon D7100.

  I tried to update Camera Raw, but it's always the same version: 7.1.0.354.

  I tried to uninstall everything except Win 7 with no luck.
