    Hello edarsa,

Here is the link to the troubleshooting article for the problem you are experiencing.

An alphanumeric Code (example: ' 0 x 'r' C2...) ") or 'Ink system failure' Error Message is displayed on the front panel when printing

The troubleshooting steps would be determined by a few factors with the printer.

    1 has a removable printhead

    2. what ink it uses

Try the following article, and then through the proper path to try the mentioned troubleshooting steps.

One of the steps you mentioned seems half valid. When you turn off the printer, you want to ensure you disconnect everything and then to wait 60 seconds. By disconnecting all that you allow the priner to discharge completely before returning. If the printer is connected during this time there is always a current electricity flowing to the machine.

The option key is NOT a command.  It is next to him. It is marked 'option' or 'alt '.

Preferences system is located in the Applications folder.  From your desktop, click on Go-> Applications-> system-> print and fax preferences

You hold the option key key by clicking on the small "-" keys in the print and fax.  The "-" key located at the bottom left of the window to Fax and print next to the button «+»

  • How to turn off filtering to connect to a printer by MAC address?

    original title: MAC address filtering?

I'm trying to connect an hp photosmart wireless on my new computer printer, a print says that if I have active filtering by MAC address I should add to my list of devices allowed for wireless router. I am a beginner and do not MAC how to turn off the printer.?

All devices in the world that can connect to a network has an address unique identification enter the MAC address.  (This has NOTHING to do with Apple products - although they will also have mac addresses.)

Your printer will be on documentation and probably on the box.

Most routers have the ability to allow only the addresses specified MAC communicate through the router.  If you do not have this filtering enabled in your router then you need do nothing.  If you have enabled mac filtering, then you must type the address of the printer in the appropriate in the router configuration page.

There is nothing on the printer '' disable'. (sic)

  • turn off wifi

We connect our Photosmart C7280 to our router using ethernet.

Can we turn off the wifi function in the printer when connected via ethernet?

I want to be sure, there are without breaking our router WiFi... I think maybe the printer constantly asks the router using the wifi.

Anyway, you get my drift... no explanation about the internal mechanics of this printer on ethernet/wifi would be appreciated with gratitude!

I'll be happy to help you with this problem.

If you are connected to the network (Ethernet), you won't have to worry about the Wifi connection.

The printer cannot use or connect to the network (Ethernet AND WiFi). It will use only one at a time.

Thus, you won't have to worry the drained for wifi, router while the printer is using ethernet.

  • HP 4585 Wireless does not turn off

I have a HP Photosmart C4585 all - in - one printer and it does not turn off using the power button.

I have already disconnected the cable, waited more than an hour and it has not solved the problem.

I also completely uninstalled and reinstalled without success.

Maybe it isn't a huge problem, because it does not work, I don't think it's good to keep it on all the time and wasting energy.

    Please let me know.

Thank you very much, printer is fixed, I can turn on and off, and even the wireless signal is back.

  • How to stop the circle of blue on the mouse pointer when the machine turns off

    Regarding Photosmart 5510e printer all in one product No.CQ183B... Model No.B111h... Serial number {content removed}

Cannot get rid of the attatched blue circle to the pointer of the mouse when the computer is turned off, because it is the noisiest printer that I have ever bought, it even guard the neihgbours awake. Thers seems there have much the same complaint of the HP printer owners concerning the blue circle. Advice please, thank you jh

Most likely the computer is looking for the printer for features such as Scan computer and alerts the ink. Disable these features should stop the blue circle of projection. Double-click the printer on the desktop icon to open the Printer Wizard. Double-click the ink level chart found at the top of the window. Click the Advanced tab. Under Alerts ink make sure the box "only when I print" is selected, and then click close at the bottom of the window. Double click on manage the Scan of the computer. Click on disable. Close all open windows. This should stop the computer from looking for the printer when it is turned off. Let me know what happens.

  • Access code is lost as soon as the screen turns off

When I turn my wrist after that my Apple Watch screen exploded, I need to enter the access code. I turn on the wrist, the screen turns off, I turn back, screen lights up, I need to re-enter the password. And so on and so forth. The watch does not maintain the code.

I am white white, is not dense hairs on my wrist, no tattoos and I wear the watch very well on my skin.

The funny thing is: it is a replacement watch, I got today. The other had the same problem, but this is probably because the bottom of the watch with the sensors fell, must have damaged the sensor cable. But this one is brand new.

    Hello

Make sure the wrist detection is enabled:

    • On your iPhone, in the application of the watch, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > detection of wrist - turn on.

I remember reading somewhere on the Apple site in recent years on some models of Chinese iPhone with this capability. No other iPhones display this and there is no way to enable it. I can't find the article which includes this information.

After turning on my wireless keyboard led green lights, then begins to blink, and then turns off. The batteries are fresh.

Possible explanation.  It is likely that batteries, so fresh, can be irregular in size.   The uncertain connection would therefore tend to lead to a failure to blink and you declare.   Read my thing...

    Batteries.
