  • HP psc 1200: psc1200 paper feeding problem

will not load paper, rolls move but don't feed

    Hello @Apache655,

Welcome to the HP support forums.

I understand that your PSC 1200 does not feed paper.

    I would like to help.

Paper can leave a very fine dust on the reels. This can prevent the rolls 'capture' the paper.

I recommend that you clean the rollers.

Dust, fiber, paper and other debris may accumulate on the pick rollers and cause paper feeding problems. To avoid paper feed issues, clean the rollers inside the printer and in the duplexer (if equipped).
  • The Officejet Pro8500 paper feed problem

The paper feeder does not book directly by moving into the printer.  He also sometimes chew the edges of the paper which it passes.  I followed the advice provided in the manual about to clean the rollers and pad and reset the printer.  I have also assured the paper is correctly aligned in the status bar.  Does anyone have advice?   Thank you.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8610: Paper feeding problems

Is it possible to manually feed a single sheet of paper in the 8610?  I have sheets simple manual power in my old Lazerjet 4Plus and find it convenient if I use 'good side paper '. (reuse, recycling)

    @Arnot41

Welcome to the Community Forum of HP.

I don't think you can "unique paper source" in this printer.

Part of the problem could be the way the printer picks up the paper - the mechanism (rollers, power, sensors) - must be "so" or something can glitch and you might get an error any.

Assuming that the paper is the same quality paper that could be used in the printer in any case, it is standard 20 # bnd, white paper, or another high-quality brand HP or equivalent, then the following should work:

You might be able to 'good use' book on top of new paper in the tray from the stack and use it that way.  If the printer not to panic because of the paper with something printed on the back of the paper, it should work.

Stack the paper into the tray with the clean side to print "hidden face".   This means that the 'already printed side' will be visible when the paper is in the tray.

You can try it certainly - if the printer doesn't like it, it will tell you on this subject.

The 8630 Pro OfficeJet print on paper one side "already used" - I just tested.

  • HP Officejet Pro 8500: Paper feeding problems

Why my printer HP Officejet Pro 8500 has constant pain to pick up the first sheet of paper, when the 'Print' is selected.  He invariably through a blank sheet and then gives the message "on paper" when the paper is in the tray.  It's same with envelopes.  Frustrating!

The troubleshooting in the here document steps can help solve problems loading the paper in the printer Officejet 8500.  Please go through all the steps in order.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8620: Paper feed problem

New Machine - age for a day. Follow the installation procedure and a tray loaded with good paper 20 # 8-1/2 "x 11". When I send a print job to the printer - the finished sheet is great except for a double crease to the top of the sheet. It's as if she gets stuck, deform the sheet and then it ends. It is not appropriate for an office environment.

This printer has a duplex on the back unit.

Secondly when I put the tray paper for 4 X 6 photo paper and load the tray... it won't pull the paper and printing. The error message says to check the configuration of the status bar and load the paper - I have already done.

I can certainly understand how it would make you questions in an office environment. Looks like it's that a barrier inside the printer or a roller is defective.

To try to fix the problem, I suggest that take a look deeper inside the printer with a flashlight to see if you can determine the cause.

Please, try the steps in these guides:

  • HP office jet pro 8000: paper feeding problems

    Hi all

I have a used HP 8000 printer and it will not pick up and feeding of the paper.

I cleaned the rollers, re started the printer by following troubleshooting instructions...

I also watched the pickup rollers as they go down, and they move into position, .but they won't pick up the paper.

Is it perhaps a fit I could do myself?

    Thank you

    Kenneth

    Thanks for the reply, Jamieson.

I did everything you suggested, ecept the firmware.

But I leave windows 7 download the internet application... I sssume they picked up later?

I have a CD with it, but it's probably outdated...

    Anyway... I will try once again and I hope I'll be able to use it and do not have to sell...: {) ~}

  • HP Photosmart 6520 paper set-match using previously coloured certificate

I bought a pristine certificate previously colored, and she has a blue border, dark on the left side and the rest is mainly yellow (a certificate of landscape). With the help of Powerpoint 2013, running on Windows 7, I tried to print a text on the certificate and the printer rejects the paper with an error message that the paper size is a bad match.

    The certificate is 8.5 x 11 in.

If I print on standard 8.5 "x 11" white, it prints very well.  I have to assume the printer sensor think is not 8.5 x 11 (due to the dark blue color, maybe).

Is there a way to substitute and print anyway?

    Welcome to the forums, ZekeKS1!

I saw your post on certificates of color printing. I suggest trying to print to the quick project to see if this will help. The sensor can be confused with the borders.

Click on start, devices and printers, right-click on your printer and select Printing Preferences and select Fast project.

    Good luck

  • Re: Don't feed the Photosmart C310 paper

I followed all the instructions, unplugged and repluged, tried to clean the rolls twice with water and a soft cloth, printed from the printer and, replaced all the ink cartridges and clean this area.  Tried different paper, but I'm at halfway through the paper that I had used before.  Paper is not damaged.

I saw where you gave someone else a factory reset.  Could help you me please?

    Hi @PatriciaSW,

I can help you with your request to reset. I've moved your post from its original location, but see you tried everything suggested by DocCottle here: Photosmart C310 paper not feeding.

I'll send you a PM (private Message), but before I do, please see the HP Privacy Statement.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!
