  My hp Photosmart C5180 works fine with Mac OS X 10.7.4. Now, after replacing my old Mac with a new, the scanner works but the printer prints only a few lines, never the entire page.   I bet that it happened not when Carly was CEO.

  I'll call this resolved, although I don't know exactly what has been resolved otherwise than a very strange relocation.

• Photosmart reinstalled will print but not scan

  After a recent recovery disk, I was able to reload the drivers and get my Photosmart C4780 in my wireless network.  It passed the "Windows Printer Test Page" without any problem but attempts to use the scan function to give me the message "parse error.  Try scan from computer or see the documentation. "The Solution Center icon has not reappeared on the screen of my computer and I can't find it elsewhere so need to know how to scan from the computer (HP Pavilion dv6700t).

  The disk version is 13.0.1.  But the good news is... after I uninstalled the basic version of the software the drive was able to install the full version.  He did check and download updates automatically.  So now I have the HP Solution Center shortcut, and can print or scan from computer.

  Check and tell if its working.

  May not be related to your problem, but some of your Firefox Plugins are out of date

  • Update all of your Firefox Plugins-> https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/
  • During the installation of the Plugins download files hotfix, remove the check mark to download any other software options with your Plugins (for example, toolbars, McAfee, Google Chrome, etc.)

  There was an available in previous versions of Firefox Add-on, but has not been supported after V3 (I think) - it is a very useful feature that I really miss.

  You may be able to put in place either all-in-one gestures or FireGestures to do this.

• InD. CS4, I have different layers for each page of a book?

  A multipage book that I make will have an image on each page, with a small amount of text here and there (no intermediary is necessary).

  I have two environments in mind; one black solid, the other, say, an image of textured paper. I don't know what I prefer, so I put them on separate layers on the first broadcast.

  I then locked all layers, saved the first spread and then selected the second spread, expecting to find a new set of blank layers in which I could insert other background effects. No luck; the layers of the first broadcast persist, by controlling that spread.

  I checked book InD Sandee Cohen CS4 but can find no reference to the layers within Pages. (There is a note on the import of a Ps image in layers with its layers intact, but what I want is to put two different files of the Ps as layers on the same page, with the option to turn them on or off. I suspect that's not feasible. But is it?

  It is not and each time (yesterday actually), I thought how clever, it would be to use layers in this way, I killed time. The layers are wide document. You're choice is to create a pdf file with layers enabled for guests, but I realized that they do not understand how mainipulate layers in Acrobat, and I couldn't make a tutorial of a hundred Word less.

  Please don't tell me to... Reinstall, download the new driver, install the new cartridge, clean align the print heads, different paper or go to 'solutions '... Etc... Etc.  I HAVE ALREADY BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT!

  Everything you "patches" end with 'the unit of service... " WHAT IN THE WORLD WHAT THAT MEANS!

  This has been a nice printer for more than 5 years, but is somewhat glitch spoil me when using the BLACK INK?

  Thanks for the reply, expecting not one, but what you say is all that we need to buy another printer if we did all the "fixes", etc... etc. you know that take a printer to a repair shop will cost more

  then buy a new one.

  It was stupid of saying me to check on the warraty of HP page when I already told you that the unit is 5 years old.

  I suggest first trying the steps described in this guide:

  • HP printers - printer 'offline' status message (Windows 10)

  Tip: Make sure that the printer is plugged directly into the wall, avoiding bars power and surge protectors. This ensures that the printer is full on.

  When you are finished, please let me know the result. If there are printing problems that are still visible, try to make a copy of the printer and tell me what's happening! If you see errors, made me know what they say, if you please!

  If you have a 7520 Photosmart all-in-one that doesn't seem to not want to print on color construction paper? Because the product is to feed the paper in the paper tray but isn't actually put ink on the page is does not seem to be a problem with the book itself and not filling not the management of specifications that your printer takes in charge for a type of paper.

  According to the specifications of 7520 Photosmart it can handle:

  • Recommended weight: 16-80 lbs.

  You know the exact weight of the construction paper?

  Your printer will print on other media, such as plain white paper or photo paper glossy with no problems?

  You could try to browse the next document in troubleshooting print quality, but please note that if your paper is not listed in the support media types, sizes or requirements of weight that you can do more harm to your printer.

  I noticed that your HP Photosmart 5510, will not print black. I'm happy to discuss this issue for you!

  Please, try the steps in this guide, the printer prints blank Page or does not print black or color ink for the Photosmart HP 5510 e-all-in-One Printer Series. If the steps in this guide does not solve your problem, consider replacing color cartridges as well.

  This guide, that cannot print when one of the HP ink cartridges is empty, will have some additional information for you.

  I had some experience in the past with an upgrade of Windows 2000, XP and a printer/Scanner, I remember more that now, but I managed to get an upgrade for the printer but the scanner never worked despite the many phone calls from HP again. I have a HP Photosmart C5180 all-in-One printer and I'm about to upgrade my XP computer to Windows 7. Y at - it an upgrade that will manage the printer and the Scanner?
