Photosmart Plus b210a - mechanical problem

The printer is new out of the box.  All installation steps have been followed to the letter.  Ink cartridges have been installed.  When the unit is turned on, the machine is warming up, a rattling noise occurs as if something is stuck, or a machine will not catch or advance.  Subsequently, after the transport of ink slides into the printer and the returns, an error message is displayed: failure of the printer: 0x61011bed and a message to turn off printer and reboot.

Faced with this situation, we cannot get similarly try to use the printer for the first time.  Any advice?  It's new for us, but out of warranty.  The box was sealed, all the original features of tape packaging and packaging on them.  Thanks for your help!

HI - try following the steps in this document.  It addresses the digital alpha error you see.  If all goes well, which will solve the problem.  I'd also sure that all packaging material has been completely removed.

Thanks - Kevin

I recently bought a HP Photsmart Plus all-in-One Printer B210a and find that I can't customize the size of the paper or the envelope as I could with my Photosmart C4480 printer of old.  This seems silly to me.  In addition, I can't find a helpline for this device.  Would be grateful at least this last!

  • Photosmart Plus B210a network problems

I followed someone elses post, but wanted to create my own to bring light to this.  B210a, router Linksys E3200.  Connects once via DHCP if I'm lucky, a reboot of the printer or disabling then enabling wireless, it will not reconnect.  If I do a search for wireless network as it tries to reconnect it will reconnect with success.  Set the IP address manually leads to work during a day at best, then having connection problems or not be able to be printed to until I have restart the printer.  I tried to put an IP address static on my router as well via DHCP and it does not work.  No MAC filter enabled on my wireless 2.4 ghz band with all available modes (b/g/n).  WPA2 with a simple no SSID security areas.  Anyone have any ideas here?

Enter the setup of the printer Web page, I tried another option, I didn't before, "in an Infrastructure network, use the behavior of b/g"... This seems to have solved the problem!  I did a few radio turned off/turned on and set the static DHCP on my router it keep it.

  • HP Photosmart Plus - B210a printing problems

My photo printer prints now all my photos in red.  First of all, this occurred when the ink cartridges were low.  I replaced the time and the Red pictures disappeared.  When photos started printing in red, I have replaced all cartridges with HP ink cartridges and made sure all cartridges have not all the bands on them to restrict the flow of ink, but still to print photos in red.  I also cleaned and aligned printheads several times but the problem persists.  By tools, my ink levels is now up to 50 percent of the Red photo printing.  I use photo paper bought at Costco, which is the same paper used when the images did print correctly.

What should I do for the photo printer to get the pictures to print correctly?

I don't know exactly of what has caused the problem, but I have speculations. It is possible that the ink pipes have stamps, air preventing the ink being subject to a push of the ink cartridge for the print heads. That's why it took 2-3 printheads clean processes to get the ink out. Another possibility is that the print nozzles are blocked and the print head cleaning process after several tests. Regarding prevention, the only thing that I could think off is to make sure to use the power button when you want to turn off the printer. This is to ensure that the print heads is capped correctly to avoid the obstruction. So basically when you get the power failure, be sure to turn on the printer as soon as you get back power. Run a clean print head immediately.

  • problems with the HP Photosmart Plus b210a Wireless

Good evening. I have some problems with the HP Photosmart Plus b210a. Precisely after printing when the printer is not detected on the network and is defined as "not available". The works remain in the queue and the printer is turned on and on again unable to work in print queue.
The printer on the network report says "Success" for each element

It is the same for the iPhone 4 and iPad 2

    The system is composed of:

MacBook Pro 13 "with OSX 10.6 update now
Connected to the Internet router Wavewgate Digicom3G150 with key
HP Photosmart B210 Pro Aio series with ultimate drivers Apple

    Network:
    D4 HW (MAC) address: 85...
    192 168 123 102 (non-static) IP address
    DHCP configuration
    Authentication: WPA - PSK
    Encryption: Auto (AES / TKIP)

The same system also use a PC with Windows Seven Home, but in this case, the printer works PERFECTLY! Even with the iPhone and iPad!

Thank you for the help that you can give me

OK, I will assume that the connection of the printer to the router and the router are OK for 3 other devices work correctly.

Make sure that your OS X is healthy:

    1. download and install OS X Combo Update.
    2. download and install the printer drivers HP from Apple.

After that, you can reset the printing system once more.

  • Photosmart HP B210a more: HP Photosmart Plus B210a shows a blue screen with error B8145558 and restart.

For two weeks now my HP Photosmart Plus B210a was wrong to behave. Until that time, I was a happy user, but since it says there is an error in the printer and that I should turn it works again.

Putting out voltage is actually not possible using the button, as this will trigger a reboot, ending up on the same screen as before. During the start cycle, I have a brief moment where I can access the regular menu before it shows a blue screen with the B8145558 error code. 2 seconds after it is shown, a white screen appears with the title of printer error and the message to reboot.

So far, I have cleaned the print head and the connections of all dirt and residues. I even managed to start and finish in a copy process, before it gives me the error. However, the error will come, and then it's over.

Someone has encountered this problem before? Currently, I find only 1 reference to this error in Google and not on this site. Any suggestions that I could try?

    Hi @kootstra,

From your description, I suspect there is a problem with the firmware that may be irreparable. We can try a reset, but because the printer will not stay on very long main screen until the error appears that we are not able to access the menu of support, we need to reset.

There are a growing number of messages in this forum and elsewhere in the internet with the steps to do a reset on different printers.  Reset to will sometimes fix problems, so resetting is not the issue.

A few resets require you to enter key combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were supposed to never access.  These special menus are used by developers and staff support for debugging of problems, but they are not intended for inexperienced users and can have unexpected results.  A wrong button push and you might no longer have a printer, but rather an expensive paper weight.  On top of that, if you happen to the 'brick' the printer in this way, it is considered as customer induced damage and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only intended to be distributed and used as a last resort and under the direct instruction of a representative of the HP technical support. They should not be made lightly!

  • HP Photosmart Plus (B210a) - part way freezes by printing

Product name: HP Photosmart Plus (B210a)

    Operating system: Windows 7 (64-bit)

I recently had experinece problems when you try to print. The printer starts printing the paper, freeze for a minute or two and then spit the sheet on incomplete. He will then proceed to print another sheet, outside, with black strips, running through it, either with a series of letters and symbols on the top. It seems very occasionally to print without any problem at all.

To try to resolve the problem so far, I've updated the software of the printer, it seemed to have no effect, and I ran printing HP and doctor scan, but it can't seem to pick up all the problems. This is a wireless printer that is connected to a network, it was connected to and has worked previously.

I hope someone can help because I'm getting very frustrated! Thank you in advance.

    Hi A0805_JKS92,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience!

I understand that the printer is not printing correctly.
I'll be happy to help you.

I turns off all startup programs to make sure there isn't something blocking the printer from printing. Click Start, in the search box type to perform, enter, and then type msconfig, click OK.

Click the Services tab to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box. Click Disable all, and then click OK.

Then click on the tab at the top of the start page. Click Disable all.
    Restart the computer.

    Disable any antivirus software.

Try printing right now to see if that makes a difference.

Then, return to msconfig and enable all the Microsoft Services and enable all Startup tab turn on the Antivirus software.

I think that this will provide a solution to your problem. Thank you.

  • Photosmart Plus B210a will not print on the Windows XP computer, but works on the Windows 7 computer

I just got a Photosmart Plus B210a printer. I was able to install it using the wireless for my Dell Dimension 3000 3 GHz computer with Windows XP 32-bit SP3. He will answer analysis, but it will NOT print, it doesn't matter what I do. I have a Netgear wireless router. I tried the Dell connected directly to the router using a USB of Netgear WG111v3 USB adapter and cable. No impression whatever the configuration.

On the other hand, I was able to make the printer work with an Athlon II X 4 630 with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit AMD machine. Everything works independently to know if the machine is connected directly to the router Netgear or using the above USB adapter.

How can I make work B210a with my Dell with Windows XP? Is this a problem XP because Windows 7 has worked perfectly, but Windows XP would only scan.

Subsequently, I deleted all initially loaded B201a software. At the printer detects the network, then reloaded the software from the CD. The printer then worked fine. What a relief. Perhaps the problem I had previously was linked to my trying to use the USB port when the printer originally did not work.

  • HP Photosmart Plus B210a unable to scale print?

Photosmart Plus AIO, produced no CN216B, don't model no B210a, running Windows 7 x 64.

Cumulatively, I spent several hours looking for a way to print scale, usually of pages web I'm holding onto one sheet of paper is ridiculous.

Tempting, I found a retailer site we HP listed specifications for prints of this printer, including the ability to evolve between 1200-12%. However, I have yet to figure out where and how this can be achieved. Is it really impossible to simply 'fit to page '?

Please, please, will be one of you, experts put me out of my misery once and for all on this issue? Thank you guys.

For this printer itself, it doesn't have the function prints nationwide. However, there are applications (like Adobe) that can offer this option through their software. But is not included in the drivers for this printer.

    Hello

    I'm on Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    I have a Photosmart more B210a

For 18 months he has been fine, but now the HP Solution Center disappeared.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall.

I use the wireless printer and everything works except that I can't use the touch pad to analyze, because there is no way I can activate it.

So, how can I get the HP Solution Center - please, do not say reinstall as I did 5 or 6 times using the drive and the software PSB210_231.exe.
