Photosmart Premium C309m cannot connect wireless, but Setup is OK

I felt for a few months and in the last days he stopped wireless connection. I use Windows 7 and restored to the previous time, but it has not fixed the problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software, turned the printer power button etc but it's the same question.

When I open the HP Solution Center, I get the message saying the printer is disconnected. If I go to the printer and use the Network Wizard it can communicate with the router and I get a Test report saying 'congratulations etc etc and everything's a pass

Looking at the config menu router you can see that the printer is there but its status is not active.

The IP address remains the same, but when I look for the printer on the network, McAfee I can't.

Any ideas?

OK, rented DSL routers are, well, problematic.  Sometimes the DSL providers have more control on their router like the printer.

-Unplug the phone line from the router
-Cut the power to the router, wait 30 seconds, then turn on the power.
-Go through the normal process of the printer connected to the router.
-Now to find the IP address of the printer (it should be on the self-test printout), type it in a browser.
-On this screen, you will find a tab management network, then on the left wireless, then the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you do not know, use the current IP address.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the white gateway and DNS
-Finally, connect the telephone line, restart the router and the test.

In addition, WEP is quite sure.  It can be broken with freeware in 10 minutes approximately.  You can change your WPA or WPA2 security type?

  • HP PHOTOSMART PREMIUM - INTERMITTENTLY CANNOT CONNECT (IMAC)

Apoloiges, this query is similar to others around, but I just wanted to check.

We have an iMac and a wireless connection using a router wireless d-link (DIR 615 Wireless N 300). We never lose internet connection for the iMac.

We connected our printer to HP Photsmart premium wireless. If the printer is turned on, and we are trying to print, the printer is inactive and unable to connect. However when we turn the power to the printer, it starts printing immediately.

Is it possible to make the constant connection (so we don't have to turn the freezer to print)? I read some stuff here on a fixed IP address - that will help? Will this affect our connection internet normal iMac (which as I've always said works absolutely fine)?

    Thank you very much!

Yup, affecting a static IP is just the thing.  Here's how:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-Click on the manual button IP and enter the IP address of the printer
    255.255.255.0 for the subnet
Let the gateway and DNS white
    -Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

The D-link is a little different from other routers, so if it does not, we will address another way.  The above approach is very simple by comparison, so let's try it first.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m the wireless to a wired PC

I have a Photosmart Premium C309g-m connected wireless to the local network, as are also several other computers (Windows and Mac). No problem here, just connect and print very well. I also have an older office (windows) connected the wired access point. How can I get the Office for printing/scanning on this unit? It seems that HP Office software doesn't give me a possibility to have the two devices connected to the access point or the two wireless. It's silly. It is a network printer, and I should be able to just connect at least with its IP address.

    What Miss me?

What is the model of your router?  Some routers have settings that prevent communication between the wired devices and wireless.  Here Network Diagnostics can help.

  • Tecra M1 cannot connect wireless

    Hello

This new but I hope someone can help me.

I'm having difficulties to connect to a wireless network with my Tecra M1. I think that the problem could be with the card Intel (R) prowireless MiniPCI LAN.

I tried to reinstall the driver for it, but nothing worked. I access the access point Via a cable but cannot connect wireless.
I reinstalled the software PROSet I printed user's guide, and he tells me if he have Driver version "1.2.4.41". I have Driver version "1.2.5.34" installed on my laptop and this seems to be the only one on the Toshiba site, so I can't find "1.2.4.41" to install instead of '1.2.5.34 '.

Any ideas where I can find this driver? I tried to let windows manage my wireless connection but not able to connect. I also tried free config but it couldn't connect either. All above can see the available network but cannot connect. Any ideas on a resolution. I am trying to connect via a router belkin G + MIMO.
No problem connecting via a direct cable.

    Hello

have you tried to connect with another machine to check if it works?
Otherwise, I suggest the following things:

    -Disable all security features
-update the firmware on your router
-dhcp instead of IP´s sets the value
-read the manual of the router, sometimes they have weird parameters

and finally and most importantly, try to connect with your M1 to another access point to make sure that you connect your machine to a wireless network.

  • Photosmart Premium c309a series - will print but scanning and fax are not in printers and Fax preferences

    Any expert out there?

I already posted this problem.  I deleted Photosmart Premium C309a [OEFC74} of the preference of the "Print and Fax" system on my desktop Mac running OS 10.6.8.]  I deleted it to correct a mistake, "Printer offline", when the printer was offline but would not.

I then added in Photosmart Premium C309a as instructed.  He has fixed the "printer offline" problem, but now the scanner icon disappeared from "Print & Fax" and I cannot scan documents.  I've always had to scan from my computer, not the printer itself, but I've lost this ability.

Before deleting the printer in the printer list, I had two icons of the printer: Photosmart C309a series [OEFC74} and Photosmart C309a [192.168.1.5.]] (Fax) listed.  Now, I have one with a different designation, simply Photosmart C309a series.  I had to spend two laptops to this designation of printer in order to print using these laptops (all Macs).

The all-in-one printer is connected wireless via a home network using a wireless router.

HOW to bring back the ability to scan?  I spent hours on this forum without finding a solution.

    Thanks for any help.

Radio of your printer may have indeed failed, and it is not uncommon with this model.

Try to reset it to put off the printer, then hold him down # and 6 keys while and for a few seconds after I turn it back on.  If the radio is just when, this should fix it.  If she suffered a hardware failure (such as a circuit board) cracked, this will not fix it.

With this model, you can also connect it to your router with an Ethernet cable and have the same functionality available for all devices, including those who have connections to your router wireless.

  • Photosmart 7515: Impossible to connect wireless to Photosmart 7515

First of all, the printer worked before end of June when a patch Win7 crashed and I had to reinstall the operating system. I immediately upgraded to Windows 10; I am running anniversary of Windows Update (AU). I don't have reinstall the printer before last night. I am running Windows 10 a a full charge 18 Alienware. I am writing from this computer so I'm connected to the Internet and I'm connected wireless.

I download the updated 2016 (PS7510_1315 - 1.exe) displayed for my printer and installed it, but when it came time to connect to the printer, it didn't - do not see the printer.

I've reconfigured the printer twice and during each installation, the printer sees all networks wireless (including me), I select my network, the printer asks the password of my network and then it connects successfully to my SSID. I print the results of the wireless network Test with the bottom line of "no problem found" for the correct SSID. My computer is connected to the same SSID. On the printer, the blue wireless light is solid on and signal strength is displayed on the printer shows also strong.

I then connected to my router and updated all the connected systems. The display shows four wireless devices, one being the printer. The printer didn't show the MAC address, not a name or one IP address like the other three, then I restarted the routed with the same results. Then, I opened an OS command window and ping the IP address - failed with "request timed out" and "destination host unreachable".

So, I'm looking for help. The printer says that it is connected properly wireless with intense beep and a DHCP IP address which is also in the appropriate interval. I also tried the host name: dhcppc3 and that did not work (didn't expect really, since the INVESTIGATION period did not work but I wanted to be thorough).
    In advance, thank you!

    Nick.

  • HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m connection cavity problem

    Hello

I bought a HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m today and have successful connected to my Wireless N network.  My problem is that every time that I reboot the printer there connect lasts for about 30 seconds and then gets BOUNCING and then stops responding all together.  It is repeatable, and happens whenever I have restart the printer.  All other nodes on my network will continue to work perfectly, so I don't think it's my router that is at fault or one of my computers that I can reproduce this problem since.

As you can guess it is really frustrating having a printer that works wirelessly for 30 seconds and then stops.  The printer itself shows a very good wireless signal all the time so I don't understand what the problem is.  Any help would be appreciated, because I rather like this printer and don't want to shop for something else.

The Linksys WRT600N is a wireless router simultaneous dual-band 802.11n.  There are a number of things to try:

    1. Please check that the width of the channel setting and 2.4 GHz band is fixed to 20 MHz only (you can still use the 5 GHz for customers of 40 MHz band).
    2. Make sure that you are not running in 802.11n mode only (it is not well defined by the IEEE 802.11n standard).
    3. If you're still having problems, open the printer's internal web page by accessing its IP address.  Select network, then wireless (802.11), and then advanced.  Scroll down to the bottom of the page and check the setting for in an infrastructure network use 802. 11 b / g behavior.  Press on apply.

  • HP Envy 4500 cannot connect wireless to the printer

Recently I bought HP Envy 4500 printer. Connected to my router ok TP-Link3631 and have successfully printed from android phone and portable computer connected wifi but cannot print wireless from the office, running XP Pro, but allows you to print via a USB connection. Office see printer through a router using 192.168. etc and printed the report. Have tried to install the software via disc cd and internet several times, Inc. reinstall, but can not get computer to connect. Have been round and round in circles several times, also used print and scan doctor without success. It seems that the software is not fully installed. Or maybe something wrong with the network. Anyone have any ideas? Thank you

    Hi @atr345,

I see by your post that one of the computers is not recognizing the printer on the network, but you can print by a USB connection. I can help you with this.

Type the IP address in the address bar of Internet Explorer to see if the built-in Web page printer server load on this computer.

Check the computer IPV4 address to see if it matches the first 3 games of the IP address of the printer.

Go to start, type cmd in the search box, enter, then type ipconfig.
    Check the IPV4 address.
Now, check the IPV4 address for the printer. (192.168.1.9)
Do the first 3 sets of numbers match? (if they do not match then the computer is not on the right network)

    Try and ping the printer.

In the same window, type ping printers (space between ping and IP address) IP address
    What are the results?

If the available printer built-in Web server, the first 3 sets of numbers of computers had matched the address IPV4 of the printer and you could ping the printer, then try and configure the connection to printer wireless via the USB connection.

Installation of the software of the printer for a wireless network connection.

Please go to the first step: preparation for installation, number 4.

If you need help, let me know.

    Good day!
    Thank you.

Material: My printer is an OfficeJet J6450. I am running Windows Vista, current update.

Dysfunction: After the replacement of cable modem, I found that I could print is no longer in my HP OfficeJet 6450. I would get an error in the printer window ' error - print. "  After the reboot after the publication of the initial error, I would get the error "error - sent to the printer.

I also returned to the default setting of network on the printer and repeated the configuration of the network. The connection was finally successful.

The automatic test of the network page and the network printer wizard confirms the connection. Digital display of the printer and the HP diagnostic utility has also confirmed the connection. But the diagnostic utility is unable to print a test page and throw an error - "Print Test failed.

I tried to connect my computer laptop windows 7 to the internet using a utp cable. Unfortunately, without success. Works with wireless, but in my dorm, I cannot use internet via cable. I tried to turn off the wireless, but that did not work either the comouter does not recognize that the cable is already connected. Please help me solve this problem.

Thanks for your help in advance! :)

I would check the cable carefully.  Sometimes, some of the wires are loose from the plug.  See if the laptop can connect to cables in other places.  If possible, the problem is with the cable and not on your computer.
