  Yes, you can install all software from Adobe on 2 computers which are mainly used by the same person but not both computers at the same time.

  This allows you to install on your desktop for work from home / office and a laptop when away from your home/office. But you cannot use LR and PS on both computers at the same time.

  Try scanning with picture Capture in your Applications folder.  Click the scanner on the left, click View details in the lower part to reveal a bunch of settings on the right side.

  Right-click in the empty area (next to the tabs) and make sure that the option 'Bar' personal is selected. I hope this helps.

  Now, I can not work at all.

  Attempt to activate scan of the computer in the HP utility, it says 'Communication error. Impossible to comminucate with device.

  However print and scan from the pc works fine, so the printer communicates. In addition, utility HP can see other things such as ink levels.

  I see you encounter some problems with the scanning of your Officejet Pro 8600 e-all-in-one printer to your computer Mac OSX 10.11. I can help you with that.

  To start, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet, not a surge protector. Once done:

  1. If the printer is connected to your Mac via a USB cable, remove it.
  2. Click on your Apple icon, system preferences and printers and Scanners.
  3. Hold down the control panel and click the icon of your printer on the left.
  4. Click on reset printing system.
  5. Open Applications, Hewlett-Packard and run Uninstall HP.
  6. Restart your Mac.
  7. Download the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

  At this point, you should be able to print and scan. If you are unable to scan, please let me know how the printer is connected to your Mac and I will be able to help you further.

• OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus: can not get the printer to function after installing new wireless router

  I recently changed routers from D-Link to a Netgear R6400.  I could get my desk, the laptop and the i - Pad to connect to the new network, but not my HP Officejet Pro 8600 more.  When I try to change the IP address, which is what I think I do, the screen indicates "this feature has been locked by your system administrator or the one who put up the system."  I'm the only one using this printer and I put in place originally, but I do not remember 'locking' anything.  Will you please tell me how to solve this problem, so I can use the printer again.

  I can't get the award-winning Officejet Pro 8600 to scan one side of a document of legal size of ATF.  I use Panel of the printer to scan to computer and save to the PDF format.  I select original: two-sided in the Panel.  The printer will scan only on one side and an error message appears saying that the tray supports that double-sided scanning for certain sizes of paper.

  Unfortunately, the ADF can scan only 1-sides for legal-size documents.

  My scan of my Officejet Pro 8600 function will not work unless I have run a scan uning the software installed on the PC.

  When I try to scan from the control panel of the printer, I get a notice that says:

  "For scanning to a computer to make sure that the feature is enabled.

  "Windows: open PC software, select the Scanner, andf Actions then select Manage scan of the computer.

  Q - How can I do this?

  Note: since I downloaded Windows 10 I was unable to find this software; Cortana does not work in my area. If I click on the HP software on my PC now I just get "click here to connect a new printer", which is stupid because it is already connected wireless. My other option is to click on "HP Scan" - this works!... great, so I can scan like that, but there is no setting anywhere under HP Scan that will help me solve the problem.

  I checked that the printer and the pc are on the same network and using the same IP address.

  In order to activate "Scan to Computer", you need to install your software first.

  What you wrote, it seems that you have just upgraded to win 10.

  When you see the icon of the printer and it will prompt you to "Connect for a new priner", please click it and it will guide you to install your printer on 10 to win.

  Activate "Scan to computer".

  Here are the steps to activate "Scan to Computer".

  1. Go and click on the software for your printer.
  2. Under the "Scan" it should be a "manage Scan to Computer", click on it.
  3. Select "Scan to computer".

  Here is a screenshot (for example) that shows how to turn "Scan to Computer".

  I am running XP Home Edition on a system of several disc. For historical reasons I run XP on the D: drive and it normally works fine. I also have a C, E, F and G drive. I wanted to change my d drive to C drive according to standard systems. I changed the course of C to be I: but now I can't load Windows! Instead, once I entered my password it simply returns "logout". Naively, I assumed I would be able to return to disk management, if I had a problem... Obviously, the system must always and use the drive C. is there a way I can reverse the situation of the recovery console or another method?

  OK, I solved the problem! :) That's what I did:

  I downloaded a copy of Ultimate Boot CD for Windows
  I used the built-in Registry Editor to modify System\MountedDevices
  Located at \DosDevices\I and it has changed (back) to \DosDevices\C
  Rebooted and everything is ok now!

  Microsoft 223188 article was helpful, but there are no articles that tell you how to fix the problem, if you can not connect on XP in the first place! I understand that Microsoft does not support the UBCD4Win startup but it has never offered tools equivalent system of his own other than the recovery console...

And it can be recorded/re-recorded to someone else than me? If I sold it, and they used the same CPU/MoBo but different hard drive? I have all the recovery discs w/windows and all apps on them. Processor is an Intel P4 2.53, MoBo has these # s above, P4-S533-VX, and it is a Sony Vaio desk end 2002 (yes I know it's old). Just some FYI. I really need to make a little money now that Christmas is around the corner & sell this thing as soon as POSSIBLE! Anyway any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

  My printer has been working very well for over a year.  Its connected to the router wired. Recently it has stopped printing and I found that the printing software was no longer on my computer. I tried to reinstall the software, but it says 'cannot find the printer' whenever I try to install.

  I ping the printer, I can see the printer IP connected to the router, it shows connected.  Even other software to help HP as Dr. feel, can see the printer.  But as soon as the software tries to install "cannot find the printer.

  I'm using windows 7 64 bit, Officejet pro 8600, HP coomputer, Netgear (wndr3800) router

  Ive uninstalled the software and tried to reinstall, Ive used the HP of Dr. printing software and it says "software is missing" it downloads the new software and the same installation, "" printer "".

  Finally managed to do work, found another question where my Windows Update would not load or update.  Removed some malware/spyware with Hitman Pro and now the Windows Update load and I managed to install the printer.
