Pilot LabVIEW 5.1.1 Keithley 195's current Source?

Someone at - it a driver GPIB of Labview 5.1.1 for Keithley 195 a power source?  The drivers on the driver search page OR only go back to version 7, and the driver was not on the driver installation cd.

Thanks for the help!

Hello fatim,.

I came back up to 5 LabVIEW LabVIEW 7 driver. This will open in LabVIEW 5.1.1. It is possible that some of the screws could be broken while their decommissioning.

Best regards

  • Convert Keithley pilot (labview 5.1)

    Hello.

I'm trying to control "Keithley 2400" using Labview 8 on Windows XP.

But, the labview program I've used before is based Labview 5.1 on Windows 98.

LabVIEW 8 see the error, "cannot convert the old vi.

Someone help me to convert the Keithley (Labview 5.1) driver for me.

Former Ke24xx.dll and the Ke24xx.LLB are attached. These files are for Labview 5.1

    Thank you in advance.

You should be able to open the VI with 8.0. Are you sure it's the version you are using? You should also think about using version 8.0 of the driver here. You will probably need to change your existing code that uses the driver, but you will have a native LabVIEW driver instead of a bunch of dll calls.

In any case, here is the llb in 7.1.

  • How can I define a current source and measure voltage at given intervals of time using GPIB on a Keithley 2410 (LabView 7.1)?

    Hello

I use an old version of LabView 7.1 and a Keithley 2410 communicate via GPIB.

I want to do a simple program, sending a commando to the 2410 to source a current given, without interruption.

Then in the light of time intervals, I want to read the current tension for logging in a txt file. My idea is to do this

simply by sending orders to the Keithley 2410 stations. Could someone please give me a hint in the right

    direction to do?

I'm not very good at LabView, but have done some simple programs using USB - DAQ before.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks again for your help,

I understood that the reason why I did not have all the data (and that the 2410 a frozen/hung) was that in vi GPIB READ, I did not specify the number of bytes to be read, and it didn't have a default value.

After adding a constant to this entry, everything worked like a charm.

Thank you for your recommendation on the * CLS command.

  • Pilot LabVIEW for GST 2014

I use Labview for control Oscilloscope TDS 2014. I downloaded the plug and play driver to http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=540. I want to test the connection between the driver and the instrument. To do this, just make that started VI? I also need to change the default values in the screw or change something?

The posted VI will not work because you do not send a termination character. You send the chains '-' and 'n'. Right-click on the control of the chain, then select '-' Codes display and retype the command.

The example does probably not because it not GPIB. You must run the initialize function. You must also use the driver style more recent project. These examples have the initialize function and you probably should now work.

  • Different current on a Labview waveform chart, as well as a current time zone time

I'm sorry. How can I display the current time on a chart similar to a zone Labview waveform current possibly. (See attached)

    Hey, Akram,.

Is what I would like to delete table of clusters, that you changed, it's the entrance to the property map of marked waveform history node. Right click on the entry in the history, then create a constant (do not change this! As it initializes the array). Then there is another node in the property map of waveform with the "x scale shift" and "multiplier to x scale" in the loop, these both have constant wired for them, if you want to change the time or date of the waveform card, then you must change the values of constant '1' you can do it by changing the constant values and by running the code or by modifying one of the constants controls and change during execution. The code you wrote should work. I copied a screenshot of the code please take a look before you continue.

  • How to vary the tension of a current source continuous using a sinusoidal signal on LabVIEW?

Hi all!  I have a programmable supply of GW Instek PST - 3202 DC.  I want to test the resolution of temperature based on my power supply fluctuations.  I started to write a VI to do this, but I don't know how to vary the tension the sine wave-shaped.  I found the Wfm sinusoidal function in Signal Processing, but I don't know how to change the '1 d of double picture' which is the "double sink" waveform, which is where I apply the supply voltage waveform.  The VI is attached.

The value of Format function will not accept a table, put it inside a loop. Use a shift register to add all the values in the table, to the string.

  • Keithley 6221 pilot - upgrade to labview 2009 to 2012

    Hello

I use the Labview drivers provided by Keithley, to control a power supply Keithley 6221. They provide for LV 8 and 2009 versions, and I currently use 2009. However, I have to spend to LV 2012. Compatible drivers 2009 will be ok with LV 2012? This who should I look for?

As you have to connect to the Web of Keithley site to download the drivers, I have attached to them.

The drivers are provided with VISAS, so I don't expect upgrade problems around 2012.  The thing I noticed is that the files are set to read-only.  Disable via Windows Explorer so that you can compile mass screw before use.

  • Pilot of limited VISA Keithley 2400 resolution

    Hello

I have a sourcemeter Keithley 2400, what I use in the range of +-1mA, as a current source. This is the driving part of PID control.

I use the official drivers of VISA, and everything is OK, except that it seems that I can't use the specified resolution of LabView.

In this range of low +-1 milliamp, the usable resolution is 50 Nanoamps. In manual mode, everything is ok, I can put for example a current output to be:

    -0.245450 mAmperes.

But when I use LabView with the .vi set up the output of the package official llvlib (I have attached it) he rounds for microamperes:

For example, the double value above would become:-0.245 mAmperes.

It's really bad for my project, because I need the resolution 50 nanoAmp for really fine control.

    Can someone help me?

    Thanks in advance!

Change the format string to"%.9f; ': ' and see if it works.  It seems that the default precision is 6.  Why the original programmer used %s I have no idea.

  • Ke24xx.dll problem Keithley

    Hello

We use the library for the development of a program ke24xx.dll own .vi who commanded the operation and the measures of resistance. However, two days ago, the program has begun to measure evil, i.e. the extent of the window of the façade of the instrument didn t match the value sent to the PC.

We use a NOR-GPIB-USB-HS and we installed the driver NOR-488. 2 (the same that was used until the occurrence of the gap) and we tested the unit with other programs based on the same library one another NOR-GPIB-HS and another laptop. All the tests were wrong.

On the other hand, we tested the same configuration by using the supplied 2.0 Labtracer by Keithley (it is developed with Labview so I understand it uses the same driver) and this test gave good results, the measurement from the front of the unit correspond to the extent of the data sent.

We do not understand what is happening. Has anyone had the same problem? It is possible that the library may be corrupted?

We used different computers, different GPIB-USB devices and the problem is the same

Is this what we can test? Could it be related to the pilot (incompatibility between 488.1 (keithley) and NOR-488. 2?)

    Thanks in advance

  • Keithley 2100; is there a FAQ/Walkthrough?

Sorry, I'm new to Labview, but I just need to be headed in the right direction. I already downloaded "visa450full" and installed, as well as pilots who gave me the Keithley site. Is there a walkthrough to show me what to do next?

You must have knowledge of the working of the device manually. You will also need something to connect the device to your pc.

  • Error code 5005 Keithley 2602 not detected

    Hello

    I use the Keithley 2602 A meter/source in labVIEW2011.

An error code 5005 product (wholesale value) on the display.

This error is not detected by the driver.

In the pilot of the world ErrorQuery maintains False even if an error occurs.

If I put the case true manually then the error is read back form the instrument.

I have attached the pilot where the problem occurs.

Why it is not detected by the driver?

    Kind regards

    Bernard arts

    Hello

I'found the problem. To initialize the global error query must have the value true otherwise, no errors are detected (playing the instrument).

The error occurs on the screen of the instrument (if I can see that an error occurs), but it was not detected by the sub vi because to initialize the query of error set to false (the default).

    Kind regards

  • Problem between Labview and Melanie 2602

    Hello world

I think my question is a bit silly, but I really don't know what the problem is. I just want to read my current solar cell by changing the level of my blood to get an IV curve, which is normally pretty easy. So, I created a loop, where I increase my voltage step by step, and used a function named VI from Labview library that connects the Keithley and Labview together, "Keithley 2600 Series.lvlib: Source Level.vi. I start at 0 and increase by 0.01 volt each time. If I use execution of climax, I see clearly the value is correct, and if I go inside the SourceLevel VI, I clearly see the command string: "smub.source.levelv = 1.6," for example, if I want to put my voltage at 1.6V. The attached picture shows a part of my code.

Despite all this, it is clear that the Keithley does not react properly. It only works v of v 1V, 2V, 3V, etc... but never the values between. My IV curves are ok to read the Isc, but no VOCS. Never happened to any of you? I would be really happy to understand what I'm doing wrong, because it seems easy enough to solve. :/

    Thank you very much!

It is quite difficult to debug a picture of a tiny part of the code.

But I'll take what I see.  Your constant shows a 0.01 (comma).  So I guess that you are in a country that uses a comma instead of a decimal point.  I don't see what is happening inside the code Keithly, but I'll make an assumption that he made some conversions where it is expected that the comma is a period.

Look closely at the code Keithly and see if that explains it.  Try to set your PC to use a period for the decimal point and try to re-run your code and see if it works better.  It is possible that Keithly conversion uses a system, rather than setting using a decimal point, which is that your sentence says it's sending.

  • Program LabVIEW will hang between 33% and 50% of the time.

I have a problem with a Labview program, I did. I have two programs that do the same thing. One is as a flat sequence, and the other is in the form of State machine.

As explained in the link below, I would like to use a microcontroller to perform wiring for automation of a measurement process. A separate current source and volt meter will be used.

    https://forums.NI.com/T5/LabVIEW/sequence-a-good-idea/TD-p/2601333

I did some simple test programs that I join since then. The problem is when running, that the labview program crashes, but not all the time is to run the program.

For example: Hall 1.2.vi will correctly work twice with the third time, he is executed, it crashes. If Cancel you and try again, it will run again twice without any problem with the third hanging. It is in the flat sequence format (was in a flat sequence, but merged windows because I thought that was the cause). From what I can tell, the program crashes when calling Keithley 6517 unique Read.vi. Two connected Keithley devices are connected to the computer via GPIB to 16 and 27. The way I checked if it was this vi the cause or contributed to what I deleted the program never hung and it. I find it very strange that it crashes exactly on the third attempt every time.

Simple.VI Hall 1.3 will work the first time and hang the second time. If it works 50% of the time. It is in the format of State Machine. It hangs in the case entitled "Measurement 1" that contains the Keithley 6517 unique Read.vi.

I used the running highlight button and watched the program to run. Curiously, it only crashes when you use this button. So I tried to add some delays/waiting in different places without success.

This could be the cause? As a side note, I say that the program is suspended for two reasons. The principal is the program does not run so the execution arrow is always black. The second thing is that if you notice at the end of the labview program, I have a block he who turns to the power source which does not happen when it crashes. I have to turn it off manually, and then click the abort program button to stop labview.
