PIMG and AvayG3 go to the wrong mailbox

I have a system of 4.2 (1) unit which is integrated with the handler calls 4.1.3 and an Avaya G3r via pimg units. This system is in a test phase and not all Avaya and VoIP users are on this new system.

Everything seems to work fine with the exception when an Avaya user calls another user of Avaya where both parties are on the platform of unity and the rollers of the call to your voicemail. When this happens the unit will send the call to voice mail from the CALLING party and ask for their password.

When I look on the PIMG units call logs, I see both the appellant and the numbers, with the number of appeal left cited first.

Remember that if an Avaya Subscriber that is not a mailbox of the unit calls an Avaya aubscriber who owns a mailbox of the unit everything works fine.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

It seems that the unit does not include calls from the PIMG. You can watch the spectator of the call on the unit to display calls from direct. They will show you what was the type of call 'fwd, no ring no answer"etc. This will give you an idea of what the Avaya switch sends the PIMG. PIMG may think that it was a direct appeal to unity, this is why you are getting the "Please enter your password" greeting after 4 rings to your voicemail. Check to see how the Unit manages the direct calls and Fwd in SA. You could have something in the mess on this page also.

In addition, it is common, check that your subscribers are hosted on the correct integration. IF your subscriber Avaya VM, they should be on the integration of PIMG not CCM. See their profile page down to "integration".

  • Running Exchange Server application of hotfixes and service pack to the server mailbox without loss of data during the restore?

    People,

    I would like to know how can I safely ask the Exchange Server service pack or cumulative update for the server role mailbox (no DAG) without loss of e-mail during the downtime and roll back the snapshot?

    If I can do the following:

    1. stop all Exchange Server services.

    2. unplug the vNIC on the mailbox server

    3 take a snapshot of the virtual machine

    4. apply the service Pack of Exchange Server / Cumulative Update or Windows Update

    5 reset

    6 reconnect the vNIC, if the server online with no problem, commit / remove the snapshot, if not, then disconnect the vNIC followed to restore.

    would be - this sense being or support for Vmware and Microsoft http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/exchange-2010-on-vmware-support-and-licensing-guide.pdf ?

    I'll start by saying that I would not do.  Microsoft is explicit that snapshots are not supported with Exchange when virtualized.  See below (from Exchange 2013 Virtualization: help Exchange 2013):

    Some hypervisors include features to take snapshots of virtual machines. Virtual machine snapshots capture the State of a virtual machine while it is running. This feature allows you to take several snapshots of a virtual machine and then return the virtual machine to a previous state by applying a snapshot to the virtual machine. However, virtual machine snapshots aren't application aware, and using them can have unintended and unexpected consequences for a server application that manages the data of the State, such as Exchange. Accordingly, making snapshots of the virtual machine to a virtual guest computer Exchange only is not supported.

    Even if we ignore the statement of support from shadow copies that isn't always a good idea.  Here are some things to consider.

    (1) cumulative updates for the Exchange to modify the Active Directory schema.  Roll back the snapshot on the mailbox server is not undo changes made to RFA, which could cause functional supported questions.  See this link to give you an idea of how there is pattern AD updates in each CU Exchange and service pack: the Active Directory in Exchange 2013 schema changes: Exchange 2013 help

    (2) it is possible to send to come during the time you test the update, and if you need to restore you would need a plan to retrieve this e-mail.  Third party services may work, or you can prevent the email to come in your environment completely during this period, but these aren't the ideal solutions.

    A much better solution would be to create a lab environment that is isolated from the production.  You can either take clones of your Exchange and AD VMs and put them in a closed network environment, or create a laboratory and import the structure of your ad if it matches the production.  I think it is a much better way to test than to try to rely on stereotypes in production.

    I'm having a weird problem trying to load a LabVIEW project in 2013. Whenever I open the project folder, it keeps looking for files in vi.lib and user.lib in the wrong place. Instead of search in files (x 86) C:\Project \National Instruments\LabVIEW 2013\vi.lib, he look in C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Targets\vi.lib

    I have manually browse for each file in the directories vi.lib and user.lib and point each a return to real folders. But in the project folder itself, all the files I have loaded just said that it is still in conflict. When I try to resolve conflicts of files, they disappear for a second then come back.

    I can't make LabVIEW for functions in the directories user.lib and vi.lib normal, it keeps adding targets in the destination.

    I tried to do a recompilation of mass, and which does not at all help.

    When I load the project, select a few dozen files vi.lib and user.lib, do a save all, close the project, and then re - open, I need to reconnect every file again.  It still seems for all... \Targets\vi.lib instead of just \vi.lib.

    This isn't the case for all projects, just this one it seems.

    When I saw this sort of thing in the past, it was usually because of a broken dependency I got didn't really need.  I would say through your dependencies (in project) and search for the odd elements glyphs showing errors.  Try to find out why those are dependencies and remove unused code, or links to the missing code.  Resolve all conflicts and then make a backup of all.

    In the past, it happened when I tried to copy a project as a new project, and then changes the code snatch which was unnecessary, but there was always a code in a disabled structure that could not be loaded causing a kind of problem of linkage project.

    See the eyedropper tool - you set to sample an area larger than a single pixel, so it's the mix of the white circle with your red line.
