Pin a shortcut to a network drive for Windows 7 start menu

Hello

up to Windows XP, I was able to add a shortcut to a network drive in the start menu, which allowed me to quickly access files stored on these discs without having to open new windows, then click on through the directory tree (I have not tried on Vista). Now on Windows 7, add a shortcut to a local drive works, but doing the same thing with a network drive is not. Is it possible to do?

Using the shortcut to the root of the computer on the right side of the menu start isn't acceptable workaround because she apparently cannot navigate the directory tree using submenus.

Thanks for your help.

Kind regards

You cannot add to your Start menu, but you can add it to your taskbar.  Right-click the taskbar, select Toolbars > new nouvelle barre bar tools, then find and select the network drive.

If it solves your problem, click on the link "Propose as answer" below and vote as useful by clicking on the green triangle for the lelft. Thank you!
