Ping 127.0.0.1 fails on Windows Vista

On my Packard Bell EasyNote AJ300 with Vista Home Basic SP2 Italian my network connection is always in a State of "local." Same problem wireless and wired connections. I have disabled TCP/IPv6, 6to4 adapters, isatap interfaces and teredo tunnels, I used the two auto fix tools MS (50199 and 50203), I reinstalled the wlan with the more recent drivers, I tried with wlan card usb and its manager of connections I checked for viruses or malware. I've disabled IP Helper and checked the client DHCP is running. I disabled the firewall and antivirus client.

Same problem with the connection of network in safe mode

It's my ipconfig/all:

Hi Enzod,

Step 1:

First of all I suggest you cancel any changes that you have made your computer.

Step 2:

You try to perform a system restore to go back to the properly working parameters and verify if you are able to go online.

For more information, see this link below.

System Restore: frequently asked questions
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/system-restore-frequently-asked-questions

Step 3:

If the problem persists then, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the NIC drivers and see if the problem is resolved.

You must be logged on as administrator to perform these steps.

a. open the Device Manager by clicking the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
(b) in Device Manager, look for the device and then double-click the device name.
c. click on the driver tab, then click on uninstall the driver and follow the instructions.

  • Update the Configuration failed on Windows Vista when the computer was closed prematurely at sea

My son turned off the computer before the update of configuration was complete.  It uses a Compaq Vista premium desktop computer.  The operating system will not load (it is stuck in a loop trying to reconfigure the old settings before the update).  We have tried to start in Mode safe mode and do a system restore.  The first available date is November 15, when the update occurred.  System Restore got the point to finalize and then jammed (lasted at least 4 hours).   Any suggestions other than a complete system to recharge?

    Hi DRoggeman,

Welcome to Microsoft Answers Community Forums.

I suggest you to do the Startup Repair to fix boot of startup problem and uninstall all updates you have installed.

Reinstall or install updates for your computer by going to http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

To perform the Startup Repair, you need to restart (boot) your computer using the installation disc. If you do not restart your computer from the disk, the option to repair your computer will not appear.

    1. Insert the installation disc.

    2. restart your computer.

Click the Start button, click the arrow next to the lock button, and then click restart.

    3. If you are prompted, press any key to start Windows from the installation disc.

    Note

If your computer is not configured to start from a CD or a DVD, see the documentation provided with your computer. You may need to change your computer's BIOS settings. For more information, see BIOS: frequently asked questions.

    4. choose your language settings, and then click Next.

    5. click on repair your computer.

    6. Select the operating system you want to repair, and then click Next.

    7. in the System Recovery Options menu, click Startup Repair. Startup Repair can invite you to make choices as it tries to solve the problem, and if necessary, it may restart your computer, because it makes the repairs.

  • Update failed error Windows Vista 80070057

    Hi .......

The error code that is coming is 80070057.  I ran the fix with no changes, I ran scannow sfc and when he got to the 30% full it failed and no end not (method 2).  I ran the disk check, and it gave rise to no error. I followed the suggestions with msconfig.exe without success.  I went as a result of further discussions and disabled winHTTP Web Proxy Auto discovery service and which also does not correct the problem. The oddest thing is that I went through the Setup log and a very small number of updates is completed successfully, but by far the largest part of all updates failed.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

If the loopback test fails, the IP stack is not responding. This problem may occur if one or more of the following conditions are true:

    1. The TCP drivers are corrupted.

  • I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and I get this "TCP/IP ping command has stopped working" how to fix this?

I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit and I get this pop windows window advising me "TCP/IP Ping command has stopped working". I click on "check online for a solution", but there is no charge and disappear. I still have the problem, and it's very irritating. How can I remedy outside junking my Tower and buy another?  Thanks for any help on this.

    Hello

1 did you change on your computer before this problem?

    2. when exactly you receive error message?

You can follow the methods and see if it helps.

    Method 1
Use the PING command to verify that TCP/IP is working properly. To do this, ping the loopback address (127.0.0.1) by typing the following command at a command prompt:
    (a) click Start .
    (b) in the search box type command prompt.
    (c) right-click and select run as administrator of .
    (d) type ping 127.0.0.1 and ENTRY.
If you receive the response of 127.0.0.1, it means that TCP/IP is configured correctly.

    Method 2
Check to see if the problem exists in safe mode with network.

Start your computer in safe mode
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Method 3:

Alternatively, you can try to reset TCP/IP and then check if it helps:

How to reset the Protocol Internet (TCP/IP)
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/299357

    Method 4:

I also suggest you to download and run the latest Microsoft Scanner on your computer and check to see if it helps:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Hi all

I have a problem with my Windows 7 Dell computer. I use Verizon Fios for Internet access. The computer can connect with the router. But I can't access the internet. When I typed ping localhost and ping 127.0.0.1, I had a general failure. I tried to install the Wizard software for the camera, 64-bit (windows vista) to configure the webcam but I get an error message with "Webcam driver open fail. Hello

I think there is no solution for this problem at the moment, because you are using a Release Candidate of Windows 7 and at the moment there is no official driver for Windows 7.

Have you tried the driver of Windows Vista so that s what you can do. Alternative visit you the Toshiba us page (http://www.csd.toshiba.com) and search for driver of Windows 7 beta. Maybe it works.

    Good luck! :)
