PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II

I have a PIXMA Pro9000 Mark II Canon printer.

I have ten flashes of orange light.

The manual says that means that the front tray is not set correctly.  I have set and reset the tray before many times and I know that it is set correctly.  BUT, I still have ten flashes of orange light.

What can I do to fix this problem in addition to sending to my printer in for repair.  I am 85 years old and living mostly on social security, so I can't afford a huge repair bill.  In addition, with a refund I get the Pro 100 for ninety-eight dollars.  It's just that the Pro9000 Mark II is a great printer and I hate the thought of junking it.

All the tips on how to fix my problem without sending my printer in for repair will be always appreciated.

Everything worked, finally, happy. I've updated since a Pro9000 at PRO-100. Much and fantastic printer. There are some great videos on YouTube to help with the printer. Search for jtoolman.

  • PIXMA Pro9000 not black!

I've been printing upward a bit comic, it is all drawn in graphite. So after a few tests - using the original RGB changing print files deposited in gray scale, printing mode 'gray levels' - it was the latter who came better how I want it to look.

I printed some 240 9 "x 12" sheets without flaw. Then all of a sudden two pages come out very light. I ran a nozzle check test and the BLACK showed a few streaks, although nothing that I would call bad alarmingly. But I ran a cleaning. Always had streaks. and then after a second cleaning and another to print the nozzle check test, BLACK completely disappeared. I then ran a deep cleaning, but the BLACK is still not there.

What is strange is that maybe some leaves 20 or 30 in, the black cartridge needed to be replaced. But this replacement always through some 200 perfectly fine leaves. It is hard to imagine that anything stuffed up.

I have not yet tried to put in another cartridge, because this one is still complete reading. But if everyone advises this is the next thing to try, I'll do it. (The red on BLACK is solid; don't flashes do not).

This nozzle could all suddenly have bad / broken?

Aiyiyi... too bad! I put in another cartridge and it works very well. So, it looks like a new cartridge went wrong quite quickly.

  • Canon Pro9000 Mk.II in El Capitan 10.11.2 SLOW printing

Even if I downloaded the driver Canon Pro9000 Mark II Canon compatible as of September 18, 2015, with El Capitan 10.11.x [http://support-sg.canon-asia.com/contents/SG/EN/0100176902.html], my printer could be operational in action-stop.

It spits out a single line every 40 to 70 seconds, then how long it take to produce a color photo of 300 DPI that I need time for my daughter?

In addition, the file is canon.asia, not even the Canon USA, where it tells me that no drivers are available for my [detected] os.

This * aloud.  Canon think it won't go to other printers that actually work?

If anyone has a working solution or a solution, I'm all ears.  Thanks in advance.

Have you contacted Canon? I would definitely try their support - whenever I sent a question, they would contact me rather quickly.

For the record, I asked guests to remove your email address; It is not safe to do so in an open online forum (and we're not supposed to according to operating conditions).

  • Impossible to get w7 x 64 see network attached printer

I have a Canon Pixma Pro9000 printer attached to a N4200 NAS from Thecus. All other PC can be printed on it without any problem, but I can't get the 2 PC running w7 x 64 to see the printer - still less to print! I went through all the procedures and processes, I can think of to make it work, but I hit a brick wall @ Can someone please help? I would really like to be able to print from these 2 PC without having to move documents to another PC all the time. All other network functions seem to work very well - it's just the printer problem.

The other computers running Windows XP or flavors of Linux. I was expecting the settings to be the same as Windows XP machines.

    Thank you

    Hello

Make sure that all computers on the network are in the same workgroup.

    Follow the mentioned methods:

    Method 1:

    Run the printer Troubleshooter:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-printer-Troubleshooter

    Method 2:

Disable sharing protected by password on the host of Win7

    a. Open advanced by clicking the Start button, then on sharing settings Control Panel. In the search box, type network, click network and sharing Center, and then in the left pane, click change advanced sharing settings.

    b. expand the home or work network profile.

    c. under the password protected sharing, click turn off password protected sharing, and then click save changes. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • How to print "Mosaic" a single image?

This seems like it should be simple to answer, but after much web research, I find it (although I see a lot of 'almost' hits, but no discrete answers). I use a Canon Pixma 9000Pro Mark II

The immediate goal is to take a raw image of 20 MB and print two 13 x 19, each a half of the whole new impression.  The maximum size of this printer is 13 x 19.

To do only with PS CC - no other product from Adobe.

    Thank you

    R

Just divide into two images and print them separately with a bit of overlap. No need to do a more complicated than that.

  • Calibration of monitor and printer

My monitor and my printers need calibration. There are differences between such images that displayed on the display of the camera and the monitor and the monitor and printers. I seeks to determine the Colormunki and Spyder Studio solutions, but cannot find any current advice on the merits of each of these solutions. Does anyone have current experience? My system includes a Nikon D7000, an Acer monitor and printers Canon Pro9000 Mark II, MG6200, and MX920.

    Thanks for any thoughts.

Reduce the number of variables. First of all the scorn the LCD of the camera, which is not yet remotely reliable as a guide to anything. And it could be that the display is where you should really spend your money first. What model? At the very least, there should be a panel IPS-type; If it's a slab TN, he has narrow angles and poor color accuracy in general. A good photographic use monitor will be around $500 and up, depending on the size.

Anyway: calibrate the screen and set the objectives to give a Visual match to the printed output. Set the temperature and the luminance of the white point so white monitor is a match Visual white paper under your specific display requirements. Then set point range black/contrast, if software has this option. Glossy paper is normally in the order of 250: 1.

Accurate color reproduction is actually not as important but to rethink the General brightness and contrast. Neutral color balance will be the same as the white point chromaticity and the display profile allows you to compensate for the specific screen response and irregularities. These things will be put in place by themselves. The critical point is to get the targeting for your work environment.

Canon pro9000 resembles a great printer, use it as a guide - but make sure you have the correct printer profiles loaded, for the paper tray you are using. I don't bother with calibration of printer, get the first right screen calibration.

That said, between the ColorMunki Photo and the studio of Spyder, I'd go for the first, simply because x-rite make sensors more reliable and consistent.

  • LR5 printing smaller images that that wanted to

In the print Module, leaders tell me that my image is exactly 10 x 15 on support 13 x 19. Perfect.

He printed 14 5/8 x 13 3/4. Is not perfect. It screws to the top of my mattress measurements.

I use a Canon Pro9000 Mark II attached to an iMac OS X v10.9.4 running.

13 x 19 is a custom size because LR or my printer does not have already as a standard size by default for some reason any. I recorded it using "0" for each dimension of the border.

Can someone clarify this mystery? Thanks for taking a peek.

    Terry

Make sure that you have not set up to do borderless printing paper. This will change subtly the size of your printed image. In addition, make sure you have no border of stroke, the photo border or the inner race for the image and that you set the size of the cell to exactly 10 x 15 instead of reading the leaders who are not very accurate. You can activate the option of Dimensions see the section guides. Also, paper 13 x 19 is often called A3 + in drivers Canon and it's often not exactly 13 x 19 ", but a metric size which is close to him.

  • Page not centered when printing

    OK...

    So I use Indesign CS4 on a mac - I.

    I am on OS 10.6.8.

    I have a canon pixma pro9000 printer.

and for some reason when I print from indesign, I can't have the page to be centered.

that he never used to do that a month or two there.

Photoshop, word, acrobat, they print correctly.

but my indesign will not work.

I swear to you I've tried EVERYTHING.

    It will not Center.

I have it on "centered" in the ignitions of page down overall upward.

I tried the printer settings page.

and the basic set up, also page.

but I still have a big gutter on the left side of the page.

so I tried hanging the printer until the imac to my wife.

which has the same characteristics as above.

and it prints the same file DEAD CENTER.

I tried to look at differences in work tables but can not find!

    Then...

I think somethings corrupt with my indesign.

    so I uninstall.

    replace.

    and...

get the same impression off center.

Although I thought it was weird that I have re-installed it didn't ask me my serial number...

so maybe it didn't uninstall completely and maintained no matter what ugly printing preferences haunt me

    So that's my story.

    I want to scream.

I have no idea what to do next.

any help would be appreciated wildly.

    t

I think I found the problem.

in Printer preferences there is a drop down menu which has a section "quality and support.

the paper has not been set to 'paper' so I went to it and now it's printing correctly.

now I KNOW I had it on things and ordinary paper before use again.

Maybe once I threw the preferences and return to plain paper

    It was the magic combination?

    hope it stays like that.

    Thank you for your help.

    It was very appreciated!

  • Canon Pixma MP800 printing problem

I use Windows XP Professional.  I have a Canon Pixma MP800, who has been a very reliable workhorse for many years.  Right now when I print a Word document using a black ink only, it is printing in the layers of alternative 1 cm of the impression of light and darkness which looks like that I chose to print alternatively in "BOLD" and normal print.  When I print the same Word document using colors, it prints very well.  I tried to do a nozzle check, cleaning, and a clean, none have worked in depth.  I also removed the print head and cleaned in a solution without success.  All ink cartridges are full of ink.  When I do a test print, the top of the marked test PGBK page, displays the first cm to cross the lines perfectly, but the second cm vertical lines of lines alternating with areas of verticle.  Printing from Excel has the same problem.

    Someone had this problem?

Looks like you have tried all the usual suspects.  It's time to contact Canon support; It is not a Windows problem.

  • Error code 0001, 0002 trying to install Canon Pixma MX-455

    Hello
Maybe someone can help me with an error code 0001, 0002 problem I installed a Canon Pixma MX455 printer to my Windows 8 PC by LAN network and all is well. Then I tried to install it on my Windows 7 wife's PC by using the CD Canon but gor the error message above. I contacted Canon who advised to uninstall the old drivers and installation using this link
    http://www.Canon.co.UK/support/Consumer_Products/products/Fax__Multifunctionals/inkjet/PIXMA_MX_series/MX455.aspx?DLtcmuri=TCM:14 - 1058631 & page = 1 & type = download
I used GhostBuster to uninstall the old drivers and tried the link but got the same error code message. I contacted Canon once again, but they siad, it must be a mistake by Microsoft and communicate with you. I should add that the device appears on the PC of my wife as a device, but "not configured properly".

Successful installation, drivers - updated, then went to print and nothing - message in the printing of the error box.

I can't restore anything to an earlier time, as I said it's a full system reinstall. Can anyone help

    Hello

If this isn't a driver problem there is a problem of setting or material and you
    need to contact Canon.

As Canon OEM is responsible for the good operation of the printer and their
drivers provided. Check with Canon support, online documentation, and
    drivers.

Good luck, you need to update or reinstall the latest driver.
