Place Images in Illustrator are blurred.

Hello I have this problem in CS5 that any type of image or line art are always blurred. All my work is for print and maybe just the overview is fuzzy, but I'm afraid that the impression will be bad.

More graphic, in that I bring you come from Photoshop CS5. I make sure you are 300 DPI to start and they recently learned that they should not be in RGB but CMYK mode.

The images that I should also mention when placed are very small and I scale to be in the right size. I don't know why they do not place in their original size. So, basically, it's small size and blur.

Any help on this matter is sensitive. I am new to Illustrator and want to learn more about him, because it seems to be a great tool to use for printing.

Thank you

Victor

I think that the solution to your problem starts in photoshop. Most printers require 2 X lpi (lines per inch) resolution and the most common screen is 150 lpi (133 or 175 are the next most common), so therefore 300 dpi (dots per inch) standard resolution requirement. Open your image in photoshop > Image > image size > uncheck resample image > change your resolution at 300 dpi, if it is not, and save. I bolded that cause thath setting is very important, and you should familiarize yourself intimately with hwo everthing in the works of image size. This deactivation will not add or remove pixels, but will adjust the size of your image if you change the 300 dpi.

Now when you place the image in Illustrator, you will know that your image is exactly 300 dpi. If you resize your image smaller, no problem your effective resolution will be > 300 DPI and which never hurts. If you resize your larger image in Illustrator, then you know that your resolution will be less than 300 dpi. Now, you can better assess the quality of your reproduction of the image.

    Is it sort of just embed images in an illustrator document, because I know when you PLACE (file > Place) them, it creates a link, and if you accidentally delete a picture or something, it will not be displayed in your document, you open.  My question is: is it possible once you place images in your document, embed results without having tied them to everything, but still retain the ability to edit?

    I make a batch of PDF files and sometimes the images are linked to the pdf as well.  I always (illustrator keeps editing capabilities) checked when I record on my PDF to make changes on a regular basis.  ANY HELP?

    If you open a PDF in Illustrator, you get asked for a link according to which pdf preset that you use.

    The smaller file size - compress & incorporates images

    By default Illustrator - both a link is created in the code and an embedded image. If you open in Illustrator will look for the image, if you open in Acrobat will use the embedded image.

    Now if you have a .ai file open, save smaller size of pdf and the file remains open except back to AI, the link is restored. The file acts as a file .ai, none of this burst of text kerning, etc occurs. So if you still accidentlayy record in a .pdf file, a way to recover without spoiling the editability of your file is saved with the file open in .ai.

  • Place Images in Illustrator CS4 causes them to appear 1/3 size

    Everytime I try and place an image (either simply place an image or an opening) in Illustrator CS4 for Windows - for some reason, the images appear in about 1/3 the size they should be.

    I go to view > actual size and this shows that the image is 100% but it is obvious that the images are nowhere near 100% (see attached ai.cs4.jpg). This could be the cause? I opened the same images (I know because I'm drawing from my office and I know I'm pulling the same files to avoid confusion) in Fireworks CS4 and it pulls open correctly the right size, the same time - every time (see fw.cs4.jpg).

  • Place images in Illustrator changes their color values - why?

    I've been put photoshop tiff files in Illustrator, and this seems to change the color values, when I sample with the eyedropper tool. The images that I did use a custom mix of intense Black of CMYK, with the K value of 100. In Illustrator, they seem to go back to the default "black Photoshop' value, about C75 M68 Y67 K90. It is not my intention to C70 M60 Y58 K100. The Illustrator document's CMYK mode, and I don't know why this is happening. No graphic elements (vectors) in my illustrator file retain the color values, I intended, however.

    Is this some kind of framework that I can change in Illustrator? This gap will be displayed when this file goes to print? Help, please! Thank you.

    When the image is not embedded, Illustrator samples the values of representation. Those that are managed by color management.

  • 'place' blurry images Photoshop Illustrator - at check in .pdf file?

    I edited some images in Photoshop for use in a .pdf file I created in Illustrator.

    In PS, images was beautiful and have been registered with the following parameters: .jpg/CMYK/Image Options: 10/Maximum. I have "placed" in the Illustrator file, everything was always wonderful, but I exported all of the .pdf file, the pictures came out blurry.

    The resolution is 300 dpi for images of three, all pixels of 170 x 100, which is also the size, they are used to in Illustrator.

    I note also that during the "placement" images in Illustrator, regardless of the type of file, the images are invariably much smaller that originally saved as. It's never happened before.

    Any ideas on how to have clean images, in the PDF?

    Things, I tried with no sign of improvement:

    Standard, high quality print and print quality save settings

    Save images as .jpg, .tiff, .psd in Photoshop to place in Illustrator

    'Link' and no 'link' when you place it in Illustrator

    Save images 2 x and 3 x the size in Photoshop to reduce in Illustrator

    And a cap perforated how I'm viewing the PDF with the images at 100% in Acrobat:

    Screen shot 2012-09-29 at 5.17.09 PM.png

    The quality is affected by their scaling upwards - at least if that's what you were doing with the placed files.

    170px wide at 300 dpi works be 0,5667 inches wide. Did you leave them this size or you increase their width/height?

    If you resize them, what size do you want in the publication? Let's say that you want them to be 2 "wide. 2 inches x 300 DPI is 600px wide at 300 dpi.

    Take care, Mike

    Edit to add * using my desired example 2 "width, if we place a 170px 300 dpi image, enlarged width 2", the effective DPI is approximately 83 dpi.

  • Web images are blurred when exporting to PDF

    We constantly place web (72 dpi) images in InDesign presentation documents, then export the PDF file for our customers. However when the PDF file is exported it makes images to 72 dpi blurred. I tried all combinations to export the PDF file I can think is to say high quality printing, change of compression to zero, change of color of the images "Do not downsample", export to interactive PDF and change the resolution etc and it always seems to compress my images every time.

    Any ideas?

    Note: The only way I found it is to recreate the images in the form of 150ppi however need an another solution because they must be 72 dpi.

    Thank you

    Acrobat displays the default images to 96 DPI system.

    In Acrobat, go into preferences and under the Page display, you can insert a custom resolution that will probably solve your problem.

    Note that this is an individual setting, other computers may not have this together.

  • Place images while preserving the effects of shade

    Hello

    I'm working on a script pre fill works of an internal database, I place images using the following style at the present time.

    imgFrameGCL[index] = addFrame(101, 230, 25, 6, '123');
    imgFrameGCL[index].place(File("/Projects/IDD Templates/icons/gcl.ai"), false);
    imgFrameGCL[index].name = "imgFrameGCL["+index+"]";
    imgFrameGCL[index].fit(FitOptions.proportionally);
    imgFrameGCL[index].fit(FitOptions.centerContent);

    This places the picture very well, the only problem is that these images that I import are ordinary black vectors that can change from one work to the work, how the designers are currently managing this process is by pasting the plain black vector in illustrator and changing the color by swapping the nuance.

    With the above code, open the images one) in the form of links, b) inside a text frame the swatch option is not available.

    someone could tell how I could integrate these images and have shades applied to them?

    Thank you

    Hi Paul,.

    You can not color chart placed in InDesign. This isn't a feature with InDesign.

    You can only color gray scale or 1-bit pixel images without transparency.

    (And that includes images PhotoShop pixel in grey stored with a layer of background only! The one where the name is italicized in the Panel layers in PhotoShop. )

    To work around this problem with the tracks, you could cross-programming InDesign with Adobe Illustrator and paste tracks. Just like the designer done now.

    But it's not sure either. Many things can go wrong sticking traces Illustrator in InDesign. Missing paths. Too complex paths. Changes in the alignment of the race. Etc.pp.

    The best would be Adobe Illustrator script to open a placed graphic HERE, do the work of color in Illustrator by the script, save a new file to HERE and replace the old, one placed in InDesign.

    If it is possible to script Illustrator to the extent you want, I can't say.

    I've updated my iphone5 to IOS10 and now my old photos are blurred. He said: "no account icloud don't set up-missing userRecordID. IM connected to my Icloud but...

    Hello Dulceallison,

    Please ask questions on iCloud and photos after the iOS 10 update here in Apple Support communities. We don't like hearing about questions after each update or upgrade. I am pleased to offer you some things to check to help you with your photos are blurred and alerts that you have received with iCloud.

    The first thing we want to make sure is that all your data is safe. You can perform a backup to iCloud or iTunes. Use this article to help with this: backing up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

    Once your data is safe, we need to verify your configuration and ensure iCloud library is enabled and check if you are using the storage optimization feature. Please open this help link: iCloud photo library. There is a section on titled mid-race "save space on the device. He talks about the storage settings optimize. When this option is enabled, you will get in their original, high-resolution images of resolution lower, while iCloud library keeps all your photos and videos. You can check and see what images are stored in iCloud by clicking on this link: icloud.com, sign in using the same Apple ID that is connected on your iPhone. Click on the Photos. If you use iCloud photo library, you will be able to see all your photos. Upstairs in the Center, it allows you to see Moments or Albums, and if you scroll all the way down it will tell you how many photos and videos that you have. Also, some scroll down and try to check a few who appear fuzzy on your iPhone. Icloud.com are also blurred it?

    If you use iCloud photo library, and even if you see lower resolution versions of the photos on your iPhone, they should not be blurred. Make sure that you have made a backup and then please go to settings > iCloud on your iPhone. Turn off the photo library iCloud, wait a minute or two and then turn it back on. It should be re - synchronize your iPhone with iCloud. Check if the images are still unclear. If they are, please fully sign off iCloud on your iPhone. There are options to save contacts on the iPhone, and other documents and other will be deleted form the unit. Don't worry, this information is recorded with iCloud and also saved in the backup. Once all signed, restart your iPhone. This article will help you if you need the steps to restart the appliance: restart your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Once the device powers turn it back on, go ahead and return to the settings > iCloud. Sign in with the same Apple ID that was signed previously. It may take a few minutes to return all documents, data, photos, contacts, and calendars, but once this is done, go ahead and check your photos. They match the icloud.com images? Are they accuse still blurry on your iPhone only? See if you can isolate a specific set of images, or if all the photos on the iPhone are blurred.

    I hope that steps with deactivation and activation of photos in iCloud or logout and back in iCloud has resolved the issue, but if not, please provide the information for the steps that we have achieved together so far and I'll be more than happy to continue checking of other options to get this working as expected with you. Thanks again and have a great rest of your day.

  • Any movement at all and the G9X photos are blurred in AUTO

    Present children shot inside opening in mode AUTO and their hands/arms are blurred with only a small amount of movement. Disappointed because I thought that the car is stupid proof lol. Should I be using a different setting? Help?

    Children indoor sun light and mobile. A difficult combo to the Auto setting.  Try setting sport or 'children and pets' If you want to try it on a pre-fab framework. May or may not work.

    I would like to put the camera in Tv mode.  TV is (unintuitively) what Nikon and others call "S", because it means "shutter priority". Canon meant Tv suggest "variable time".  You set the shutter speed (variable time) required to stop motion blur. For children just open packaging, I think only 1/250 or 1/320th is enough speed.  Use not TOO fast a shutter speed, because that will force the camera to compensate for the brief exposure of ISO, hiking time each hike in ISO adds ugly digital noise, and it reduces the resolution and detail of the sensor will capture.

    I would also to the shooting in RAW rather than JPG.  It will take you to do post-processing to perforate the dull RAW image up to saturation, contrast, etc., as well as to convert RAW to JPG at the end.  It is worth, however, that you can fix a RAW image much more that you can fix a JPG image. You can remove the noise much more RAW, and you can fix everything better, including balance exposure and white.

    Watch a few videos free tutorial on Google on the "exposure Triangle".  He explained very simply the key principle of photography, the three variables you manipulate to get correct exposure: shutter speed, Aperture and ISO sensitivity. You can also negotiate one against the other to get artistic results.

    Good luck.

  • Windows Movie Maker - my photos are blurred?

    All of the photos that I put in the windows program are clear, but when I play my full screen movie they are blurred.

    When I look at the image through my photos outside movie maker and full screen, it seems clear as day.
