• Re: Mouse freezes, changes to 'move' pointer and zoom in or out

  My mouse pointer freezes or randomly replaces the pointer 'move' and zooms the page inside or outside when you use internet explorer 9 or 18 of Firefox.

  My computer is only 3 months old and I have had this problem since the beginning. I called Toshiba support and they had me go in the BIOS default settings and restore, but it has no effect.

  It's something I meet here and there.  The point at the intersection of A and P letters needs refined, but when I press and hold the Ctrl key to facilitate this, it converts the pen tool to the tool move because it is too close to the guides.  So, I need to change the direct Selection tool, which disrupts the workflow, or turn off the guides.  Is it possible to do this without turning off the guides, or tool change?  I tried different combinations of modifier keys, but nothing helped.

• An erratic move pointer

  Hi Forum,

  I have a HP Pavilion dv4T-1400, running Windows 7, 64-bit. My touchpad has been giving me some difficulties today. The pointer has moved erratically, highlighting and selecting things even though I have not touched, and if I tap the and let my finger there, the pointer moving madly. It's never happened before.

  After consulting all the tips help I could find, I updated the driver and adjusted the touch sensitivity settings to be lower. None of these factors, which have had no effect.

  I'd appreciate any help I can get!

  Instead of updating the touchpad drivers try everything first uninstall the drivers for the touchpad Control Panel, and then download it from the link below after selecting the operating system:

• Cannot move * without * duplication!

  Whenever I drag a shape with the tool Selection or free transform, the form I am slide gets duplicated. It's like the Flash I'm holding down the Option key when I'm not. This little video shows the problem: http://www.erikphansen.com/flash-selection-tool.mov

  Back to zero doesn't fix it. But I just found out that you are using the Flash of a guest on my Mac user account works. So, somewhere there is a preference which is ruined.

  Pref. of compensation did not.

  However, I have it fixed. I'm sure the problem was some weird conflict with Air Display, which I had installed but was not yet using about 95%. He also seems to have understood alignment to work pixel which I noticed has been dismantled. Weird weird weird.

  I'm trying to encode a clip so when selected a duplicate is created in a predefined location (called origX and origY). I tried to adapt the code in the help files but, alas, no joy. Where am I going wrong (see attached code)
  'meter' is just a counter that increments each time that the MovieClip is clicked, and is added to the string representing the name of the last instance of the clip.
  The s in "trace" are just there for the test, but reveal a _x and FLF 'undefined' for the new movieclip.

  well a few things here - first you really should try to place your code on the timeline rather than "attach" them to buttons or movieclip - there are reasons, and it is just a best practice. However there are a just a few things your missing here:

  the first parameter in the duplicateMovieClip method must be a string, not an object - and unlike the attachMovie method, the second parameter must be the assignment of depth. In addition you can 'position' the clip in the call using an Init object in the call as a third parameter. If indeed orginX / there are read correctly (without path to _parent) then you could do the whole, and this code is "attached" to the "cow" MC - then you can use the following:

  Have you installed the drivers, firmware, or software required for the function of the mouse?  Even if you did since the discs that came with the mouse, it could have many updates since then.  Go to the manufacturer web sites to get downloads there is place and install them and then restart and see if the mouse works now.  Make sure you get accurate versions applicable to your mouse AND your version of Vista. Also, try to plug one at a time - they may be conflicting with each other.  If no, go to start / Control Panel / mouse and check the settings to make sure that bluetooth is turned on (and the same goes for bluetooth itself).

• Move the point of alignment of the symbol in CS4, how?

  Boy I feel stooopid.  I can't find how to move the point of alignment of the symbol in Flash CS4.  It's easy reeely in CS3.  A clip I made was of course a registraion point at the Center, and I'm using AS 3.0 to place the instance on the stage, which means of course that I see now the lower right of the movie...  I don't want it to use as place the clip at a different time, I just want to know how to move points of alignment of all symbols in CS4.  When I go to edit a symbol I see reticle existing symbols which I assume are the existing alignment point, but how can I move?

  I don't have CS4, so I don't know if there is a change in how it is done. Also, I'm not otherwise in CS3 to open the symbol and move items around, not the point of alignment, either manually, or via the alignment tool.  Then you may know sdomething I did not... but that's how I do it where it's not how you do it.

  I have a script to do a bunch of stuff that makes PDF files that I have stored in different folders. I want to be able to move the items by using a loop

  i.e. repeat with i from 1 to (number of files in the folder x) - assuming that all records have also the same number of files

  "Handset" is just a simple automator app that takes the contents of the folder of the folder "toCombine" and adds them in the order I want which is X > Y > Z as page 1, 2, and 3. However, I see fluctuations in the order that I continue to work loop while watching the toCombine file, resulting in Z > Y > X and stop randomly.

  I added delay and even a control to see if there is no X before moving the point Y etc..

  The HD has certainly copied and move - even on an external drive, all attempts have failed.  My computer is a virtual stop. It took all day to download 2 files.

  Hoping for some advice on how that I solve this problem.

  2. is it a laptop or a desktop computer?

  I suggest that you check if the mouse settings are correct.

  Method 1: You can follow these steps and check if it works.
