Placement of the image on the monitor

I recently updated from CS3.

I am a worker of multiple monitor.

In the past, when I opened the images they would open my monitor to Center; allow me to start working immediately.

Now they offer to my right monitor and I need to drag each image in the Center... How to reset their placement to open the Center monitor, every time.

Give it a try: once you have placed all the items at your convenience, go to the window > workspace > new workspace and name.  If, for some reason, on the next time you open your page layout Photoshop isn't like you he had previously affected, go to the window > workspace, and select your special layout.

  • Proper placement of the Image on the Second monitor

    Monitor Problem.jpg

I used a setup two monitor for awhile.

Recently I replaced my 19 inch right hand with a 24 monitor monitor inches.

Now that I extend Photoshop CC 2015 on the second monitor, the extended section is not in line with the section base. In other words, the upper part of the extended section is 2 inches below the base section; and the bottom of the extended section is the bottom of the screen.

My system is Windows 7 64-bit with a videocard GeForce 660

Any suggestions on how I could fix this problem? In the display on the right hand monitor is set to full screen, the image appears correctly. I tried to use OSD of the monitor to change the location of the image, but this seems to be unable to solve this problem.

Above is a picture of the problem.  On the left is PS CC 2015; on the right is the extension of Photoshop.

Right click on the desktop and choose screen resolution. Select the second screen and drag by the amount of that compensation is.  It's something that I discovered completely by accident during the addition of a third screen (Cintiq Companion 2).  You can drag above or below, left, or right and refine the position.  It's a trick, but I'm not quite sure if it's purely Windows code, or integrated in the video drivers (nVidia in my case)

  • How can I move precisely image in the monitor by using the arrow keys?

I am currently using first 13 items on my desktop Windows 10. When I use the special effects of culture, I am able to precisely position the top, down, left and right limiters by typing in a decimal percentages. It works very well, especially when you try to manually move the limiter in the monitor by holding down the left mouse button and dragging. Enter the percentage allows the adjustment takes place easily.

However, I was unable to find a similar positioning tool for when I want to move the image in the monitor. The only way I know to move the image currently is holding down the left mouse button and dragging the image. What would be the most direct and intuitive way (for me) to precisely move the image, once you left mouse clicked on the clip to show the white frame with its 8 small white squares, simply hold the CTRL key, and then use the 4 arrows to position the image. However, holding the CTRL key and pressing the keys 4 arrow do not work, or not keeping the Alt key and pressing the key 4 arrow, nor does not hold down Shift Ctrl, shift, or Ctrl Alt Shift For me, it would help greatly to a precise positioning, if I could hold the CTRL key and press the arrow key should be.

Anyone happen to know how to position an image in the monitor otherwise than by holding down the left mouse button and dragging the image where you want?

    Thank you

With the clip selected on your calendar, click effects applied on the right side of the interface.

In the effects Panel, open the path properties. Here you can define the Position and the scale and Rotation of your clip. You can also effects and keyframe animated trajectories.

  • The appearance of sharpness of the Image on the monitor / cropping picture

    Question n ° 1

It is a problem I've had with all versions of Photoshop.

Sizing up a picture on the monitor has a strong influence on the sharpness of the image appears.

If you click on the button of the screen adjustment, the image always loses considerable sharpness.

However, if you click on the little top and down sizing triangles under Image Navigator (side of the app), it chooses sizes that faithfully reproduce the sharpness of the image (what it will look like when printed). The problem is that it is too small (less than "screen adjustment"), or too large (larger than "screen adjustment").

Has anyone experienced this frustrating niggle and found a solution?

    Cropping

When cropping a picture, the image appears to move non-adjustable in increments, which means that sometimes you cannot the frame on site exactly where you want. Does anyone know how to fix or configure this?

    Thank you!!

There is something basic that you should take into consideration.  The only time where Photoshop displays your actual images when pixels you zoom in you picture view to 100%.   If the Image zoom level is not not 100% that you don't look at your actual image.  Your viewing a version to scale your image. Photoshop quickly scaling allows you to work on your image.  Its rapid scaling, not a fact using the best possible interpolation.  Indeed to some values of percentage of zoom that you see sounds quite bad. It's not your image.  When you work on a Photoshop image scales that you do the sized to your image size image real. That's how the scale works. Don't judge sharpness of the image, unless you look at one of your pixels real images zoom 100%.

You should be able to reframe the exact size you want. You must know how the rectangle selection tool use and the crop tool and manually type in the exact size you want.  You must be careful with the crop tool, it can easily crop and resize the crop.  No matter when you resample a picture, you lose image quality, or throw you have images you create details you have no details.

  • Is it possible to place an object/image in the same exact spot through different files?

I have 4 files that I need to change the image of brand for all 4 logo.  The image must be in the exact same task on all 4 files.  Anyway is to align different files? or any other ideas?

    Thank you

I think that you do not want to stick it in place. The keyboard shortcut is Cmd (Ctrl) - SHIFT - V. place the logo where you want on the first plan of work, copy with her still active, activate the next work plan and use the paste in place. Repeat on other work plans.

  • The specific question about the placement of an image into text.

Hello, I had a question about the placement of an image into text.

I did the contours to create text to place the image inside. My text is 5 words and two lines inside the box.

When I do create contours he gives me 2 transparent route separate layers for the top and the bottom line.

How will I be able to do that in a single layer of compound to place image that expands to the two lines?

First of all, there are two ways of describing the type. The default value creates anchored objects. You want a separate object, so hold down the Option/Alt key when you create outlines. Drag the new contours to separate the text block.

It is useful to open the layers panel and view the contents of the layer. You have created a group which consists of two transparent traces. In the layers panel, expand the layer so you can see the structure. Shift-select the two transparent traces. (Make sure that the group is not selected.)

Then choose object > tracks > make a compound path. This makes the two transparent tracks into one. Then, you can place or paste into the single compound path.

    Thanks for the follow-up.

Missing in this equation are the Premiere Elements version you were using and the operating system on which it is running. But...

The Act is accomplished. But... Up to now, and after that you went ahead and moved to version 12, we now learn what Premiere Elements version you were using. We don't yet know the operating system involved.

You said first Elements 10. First 10 Elements is affected by a problem serious display known if the computer uses an NVIDIA GeForce video/graphics card card. In this issue, the only cure is to roll back the version of the driver about may 2013. The description of the problem and how to make the rear roller are described in one of the messages at the top of this forum. What video/graphics card your computer use?

On another front, Adobe will release a new version of Premiere Elements any day now. Not one, but Adobe knows the function defined for the new version. This type of information is announced at the time of the release of the new version.

So the solution to the problem you presented in this thread could have been...

1 roll back the version of the NVIDIA GeForce driver for all may 2013 if possible (Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit, maybe not possible)

    2. move to a different version of Premiere Elements (which you did)

I offer the foregoing for consideration so that you can review your decisions. We are pleased to learn that the first items 12/12.1 works for you.

Please do not hesitate to ask questions and seek clarification, but do not forget that the answers are in the details.

    Best wishes

  • What is the best program or how to check an image on the monitor screen (contrast/color, etc.)

    Hello

In ACR I adjust the image so that it looks OK to me.

But there are a few differences in the cab and PS visualization of the image (color, contrast, etc.).

In programs like foto-viewer of windows , there is another difference (compared to ACR and PS) > > images have more contrast and darker than the visualization in PS

Another program Irfanview shows the image with less color (saturisation).

I did a test print (in a center of the photo), this picture translates into something between Irfanview and Psalm

    Question:

What is the best program or way to adjust the color / contrast, etc to make me a photo-image (on paper) which is the same as what I see on the screen of the monitor mij.

Probably still a problem with color management.

PS is color managed, will honor an embedded profile (or tag) in an image and to 'bend' the colors according to the color space of image and its supported monitor.  Check the color settings to see if / what that PS takes in what concerns monitor color space and image profiles.  Other programs are not color management and send the RGB values directly to the monitor.

You can't see a difference if the image has an sRGB profile (or none), but that say a picture comes up with its Adobe 1998 color space.  Photoshop will honor but other programs will not, then you will see a net difference of saturation.  Adobe 1998 being a larger color space, it uses small differences between R, G, B to a saturation of the color indicated that would exist in sRGB, so seen in a managed application without colors, the image will appear less saturated than in PS.  And other "Pitfalls" that can cause the effect reverses.

You must have a minimum knowledge of color management to be able to reconcile various appearance of the image between the various applications.

  • Resolution of the monitor which affect the display image

I use two monitors. The primary monitor is set to a resolution of 1920 x 1200. The second monitor is set to a resolution of 1920 x 1080. When I have LR displayed on the main screen (1920 x 1200), emissions information, but not images. When LR is displayed on the second monitor (1920 x 1800) shows all information and images. Why the images displayed on the monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1200? What is the solution to see the images on the monitor with a resolution of 1920 x 1200?

    Both calibrated and profiled?

Resolution has nothing to do with it. But if the profile monitor for that screen is broken, Lightroom is known just refuses to display in some cases.
