Playback jerky in Premiere Pro with images of 50 p 2015?

I get choppy playback / nervositee / stuttery (audio and video) during playback of a sequence of 2 minutes in Premiere Pro 2015 AFTER rendering.  I would like to know if this problem should occur or not.

Symptoms: Executives ignored, choppy playback. Occasionally, the video freezes and then advance to the current position. False / audio which jumps once in a while.

Images: 1080 p, 50 frames per second, MOV

PC:

Processor: Intel i7 5820 k

GPU: EVGA GTX 970

Memory: 32 GB (25 GB allocated to PP)

OS: Windows 10

PP installed on the SSD media on WD Black HDD, "scratch disks" on separate WD Black.

Audio: Saffire 6 USB Audio Interface

Sequence settings: 50 fps, 1920 x 1080, progressive, square pixels. Video preview format - MPEG I-Frame only.

It is simply too much for my PC or there at - it something wrong? My CPU, GPU and memory are far maxing out during playback, and yet it be ground persists. I tried deleting the preferences, previews, memory cleanup cache media, Mercury engine in the software only... Nothing has made any difference. I copied all my clips in a new sequence, and that helped for a while but then it be chopped back.

I would say get the hard drives out of the loop edition.  Even some of the cheaper SSD drives are three times faster than readers of empty hard drive and when hard drives are filling more than half full as they slow down considerably.

Have you tried a slight overclock your CPU?

    Ok.

There is a problem with AVCHD media more long making CS6 largely unusable at the moment.  You can transcode that to something else while Adobe is working on a fix.  I recommend the free and UT lossless codec.

  • Send transcoded clip in Premiere Pro with audio Mono

    Hello

I noticed that others have asked this question around August 2013 but haven't seen the progress made on this issue, which is that we prefer to edit in Premiere pro with mono audio tracks, but we are unable to transcoded material to come with audio mono prelude.

We need to have total control over our audio tracks and for us in an environment News/FRA, which also means the production of early recovery.  So we want to choose the part of the clip XDCAM what we want as a prelude, send it to Premiere Pro and laid the grabbing of the interview (for example) on track 1 of the timeline with only talent audio mike (which has been recorded on the channel of the camera 1) and must not pan it or worry about making big thing to her.  Then, we cut the rest of the overlay with sound effects that are recorded on the channel 2 go directly to the track 2 on the timeline.  When transmit us to Headquarters that we send them two discrete audio channels: talent/VO on channel 1 and channel 2 effects.

We have only one problem when transcoding is involved.  With the audio preferences in PrPro 'Mono', everything is fine, it's just that when prelude to transcode a video makes the audio a hassle for us, because it can only come to PrPro as a stereo audio track.

Adobe, he's never going to be the ability to just a prelude preference to send audio with Mono clips, as there are in Premiere Pro?

Or someone has figured this out, and miss me him just something?

In Adobe Media Encoder, set up a new preset that has the video and audio parameters, you want to have your images transcoded for source:

Then name and save this preset. The next time that you start the prelude, the preset will be an option to choose to use for transcoding of your hardware.

  • Playback stops in Premiere Pro CS6

Well, it's hard to believe, but the first Pro CS6 will not playback of any file/codec in the Viewer window, or in the editing window.  What happens is that I press the room (or area) and the video will play for near 1 second.  After that, it will stop.  It does not matter whether the file is DV, XDCAM or mp4.

This happened to me in the past on an iMac, but I uninstalled Premiere Pro and re-installed.  Now that the iMac works fine with Premiere Pro.  I tried the same process on three MacPros and it will not fix the problem.  Anyone had similar problems and how do you solve problems?

I know these are the MacPro 1,1.  I think it's the 2.66 GHz D. Core Xeon 5150 x 2 (Quad Core).  All three are under Snow Leopard.

    Thank you for your help.

    CORRECTION:

Re: Premiere Pro will not play more than 1 second of video?

This solution is indeed solve my problem.  The key, you MUST be logged in as an administrator user.  If you do this under a different name, it will not solve the problem (I tried first).

G ' Day of the Australia again.

I've been using Premiere Pro CS6, and during this time the Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration of the reduction (CUDA) appears as an option for the rendering engine.

But now that I've updated for first Pro CC, the rendering engine does not appear, only the Mercury Playback Engine software.

  • Premiere Pro with a dual-core processor

    Hello

So, I was trying to first Pro CS6 to edit my AVCHD. MTS files. However my AMD Dual - Core Processor E300 couldn't handle files, resulting in "choppy" playback I was wondering if my processor would be better manage your HD files if I the converted to another type of file, ideas or suggestions? And which converter I could use to keep the 1920 x 1080 HD quality? I can't upgrade my CPU, I tried

    I appreciate all suggestions.

This CPU is slower than molasses in winter, it marks a ugly 630 in the test CPU of the pass mark, where a decent CPU would score more 16 000.

Forget it. No way it will work, it's far too slow and underpowered. Get a new PC. It will be same triple DV material, not to mention the AVCHD material. It's like asking your grandma to carry a load of 20 tons up a steep hill, with his 50 year old bike. Can't do.

  • Is it possible to build a pc that can run efficiently Premiere pro with a budget of approximately $ 500-650?

I'm a complete amateur it's start try a hobby/business in video editing. At the moment I have no interest in 4 k make. If that still counts.

I see sub - $1000 desktop with Core i7 online all the time that should do the trick for you on a limited budget.

For example, $ 779 the H50 to desktop Lenovo (90B700E4US)

    • Intel Core i7 4790 (3.6 GHz)
    • 8 GB DDR3 1 TB HDD 120 GB SSD
    • 10 64-Bit Windows Home
    • NVIDIA GeForce GT 2 730 GB GDDR3

Certainly, you want a Core i7, would be a waste of money to buy/build an i5 machine. He has the Core i7, has a SSD for the boot drive and a HD 1 TB which could be used for media/edition is available. The GPU should work to provide some acceleration GPU Mercury engine in first. The 8 GB of RAM is low, but could be bumped to a later date to 16 GB. Not a mega-plant by any means, but on a budget, I don't see why it wouldn't work for you allows you to edit HD video. There are of course similar platforms from other suppliers, it is just one example.

I certainly agree with the others even if to "do things" you are looking at $1500-2000 (and more) to have a nice edition high performance without compromise of drilling. Which means a card mother of performance, better GPU, greater power supply, more memory, more storage, etc. The above example is just 'right' start. For example, this sample system will have limited the room meaning extension for more readers or PCI-e expansion card, etc or if you want to replace the GPU, the power will be too small and so on. You always get what you pay for.

EDIT: just did a web search for "desktop games under $ 1000" and find many successes, including the present - best desktop computers games under $ 1000 2016 | PC hardware and games reviews computer

Don't forget when you look at systems, look for the Core i7 and GTX card display. and as much RAM as possible. 12 or 16 GB is definitely preferred over 8 GB. And if you can get these goodies and 2 TB of storage, so much the better. In all cases, you want more than one player, startup and media. A boot SSD is better if you can get it, then get a 7200 RPM HARD drive for video. Could also get with an external drive USB 3.0 for the media.

  • Import of images classified to Premiere Pro CS6

I'm trying to correct/color grade my clips. I sent it to Speedgrade by Premiere Pro (CS6) but after having rendered out as a DPX, and try resending to Premiere Pro (DPX image sequence), not all of the classified clips were there. (Clip is 04:40 min) but only 01:39 min is what was imported back to Premiere Pro.

I found occasionally that I tried to export and don't take that dialog box export thought I have tried only to export something highlighted, or if another setting for "selected area. I think you have run against something similar... or a box that has been verified that don't is not yet aware was there. As I try (for the first time in a year) export an EDL from PrPro to Sg I had to decipher something like three different places, both programs have tried to help me before I could get the EDL breath and images both imported in the same timeline of Sg.

As an alternative to DPX it is of course two different EDL processes... one where you export just a NOD and then after you have created your Sg project, go to the via media of the Sg Panel, drag it to the timeline, then the media group to navigate to the folder containing your clips, and then use the 'load from desktop' option to fill your timeline.

The others... export you the EDL and the order of the timeline and then put one on the new calendar of the Sg project, drag one on top. It takes a little more time to make the export of PrPro of images that are probably not necessary most of the time.

I have just set up the Forum an explanation how to do that with progressive pictures and avoid the hiccups, both programs can throw at you. The first of... If all your media in one folder-tree... is very fast & easy. EDL export is almost instantaneous, and clips of top loading just bango... now, I used to have problems to export by moments (made) a chronology of Sg. I don't know if an EDL process can work sending back to PrPro ranking, I think you would have to return on. But a lot of people who have done all the time without problems.

  • 5 different AE comps with Premiere Pro CS5.5 in CS

I just upgraded to CS5.5 this morning. I had worked on a project in Premiere Pro with imported AE comps for lower third titles. After the upgrade, these comps are more transparent - they cover underlying video titles rather than just a bunch of third lower partial opacity. I guess it has to do with a problem with alpha channel? They worked perfectly before the upgrade, does not now. Someone has an idea of what is wrong and what to do about it?

    Thank you!

    Laree

I suppose that by 'imported AE comps for lower third titles', you mean that you use Dynamic Link to import the AE directly in Premiere Pro comps, as opposed to making it first in a file.

We're investigating a problem in first Pro CS5.5 and dynamic links that may be to blame for this.

    Your configuration is the following:

    1. The background color of the After Effects comp is not black.  (Not RGB 0, 0, 0).
    2. Hardware acceleration is enabled for the Mercury playback engine in Premiere Pro.  (Menu project > project settings > general, rendering engine is set to "The Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration".)

If so, you may have stumbled upon the same bug, we're looking at.  Sorry about that.  The cause of the problem is being investigated.

You can work around the problem by doing one of the following:

    • Change the background color of your comp to black. (RGB 0, 0, 0)
    • Only change the rendering engine in Premiere Pro for Mecury reading software engine.

If this problem does not fit your situation, please elaborate on the content and settings of your project, or post some examples to look at us.

  • Media Encoder does not from Premiere Pro

I'm having issues export from Premiere Pro - I've had enough of queue through Media Encoder so I can move on to the next edition, but when I select the queue and Media Encoder opens, it does nothing - just sitting there with "not currently Encoding" rather than import the data to export.

    Help?

    • Adobe Media Encoder, 6.0.2.81
    • Installed as other products CC Ps, Pr, Id, Lr, AI, etc.
    • I ran Adobe Updater but no update available for me.
    • Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion)
    • I use Adobe Media Encoder via a subscription to creative cloud
    • Project 6 minute film shot on the Sony (AVCHD) FS700 and Premiere Pro exports
    • No error message, just no enforcement action
    • Have not seen the problem before that - most of my work is Canon 5 d MK III vi, so maybe it's a problem of Codec Sony? Although I exported the images from the camera before...
    • Apple MacBook Pro 17 ",
    • I use acceleration GPU of Mercury Playback Engine in Premiere Pro

    See you soon

Finally got fed up and rang Adobe (if all else fails...)

Member of the open video Support team my library folder (Go\Go to folder...\~/Library/) and then went into \Preferences\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\ and changed the folder called 6.0 to 6.0old (i.e. rename it to something else), then click queue in Premiere Pro and the project successfully opened in Media Encoder and was able to start coding.

I hope this helps someone else suffers from the same issue!

  • Export from Premiere Pro CC 2014

    Hello

Whenever I'm ready to export my project my first Pro CC 2014 stop answer all together. I tried the short cut (command + M) or through the bar Manu. the result is the same, first Pro CC 2014 just freezes and does not respond to what it is until I force quit and relaunch allover again. I tried exporting from Premiere Pro auto, without using the Media Encoder, but the problem remains the same.

I use the new Mac Pro. I've heard talk of that adobe Premiere Pro has problems with the new Mac Pro. Is this true? Or another problem?

  • Migration of files from Premiere Pro?

    Hello

I wonder if there is a way to easily (or easily) convert all my existing changes in Final Cut Pro and start working in Premiere Pro?

I worked in Final Cut Pro since version 1 and I have a LOT of old projects I'll be back repeatedly for revisions to the customers.

I would love to somehow move to Premiere Pro with NEW projects but, at the same time, not to redo all my editing for my OLD projects at the FCC. Can I export certain types of data from FCP and have images and assets in the same organized folders and import these data into Premiere Pro and have my changes open up there?

It would be great if there is a way to do...

    Thank you!

    Seth

Here is some information on the importation of Final Cut Pro in Premiere Pro projects.

  • Audio and video Shifted only in Premiere Pro

    Hello guys,.

I'm having a problem with premiere pro with sync audio and video, which are stored in files separated by means of bandicam.

    These files are saved as:

    VIDEO:

AVI Motion JPEG to the 720 p 30 fps

    AUDIO:

    Stereo PCM 48 kHz

When I open the video file, via a media player like the one used by default on windows, I have no problem, but when I add these files in the timeline of a sequence in first pro, I notice that after some time (+-2 minutes), audio and video are starting to change and I don't really know why.

In Premiere Pro, I tried the sequence with the video and tried settings with HDV 720p30. In both cases I had the same output two files moved after awhile.

Someone knows how can I fix this?

    Kind regards

    FC.

Is bandicam media variable or fixed rate? If you don't know, drag & drop a file on the MediaInfo program mentioned here, go to TreeView and see if it's the VFR or CFR. PrPro do not play perfectly with the media of VFR. Which many screenshot recorders produce.

  • Word distorted after upgrade to Premiere Pro v10.4 good buddy

I use Premiere Pro on an iMac end 2013 24GO RAM El Capitan. When Iwas using Version 9.0, all mov files have been imported, and plays very well. Since the upgrade to 10.4, the speech is high slope and Mickey Mouse like. The files play normally outside the program, but as I import them, the odd effect helps. I have re-installed Premiere Pro with the same result. Advice would be greatly appreciated. The audio plays at the correct pace and maintains synchronization with video normally to the rhythm of the participant.

I found a solution using "encode the selected video file" by clicking right on the file .mov and then a .m4v file encoding and who normally plays in Premiere Pro and has only one audio stream. Thus sorted, I hope, but do not know how the two additional audio stream have arrived!
