Playback of QuickTime in Chrome

This week arrested Chrome support NPAPI plugins - this apparently includes QuickTime player.  None of my content will now play in Chrome, what other solution do I?  Here is the HTML code I used to play the video on my site.

The video is h.264/AAC.  How to export my video which will be generally supported?

H.264 is natively supported by Chrome using the

I have Quicktime player installed 10.4. Since the last update to iTunes, every time I upload a video, it automatically begins playing. Is there a preference which is not obvious to the value not AutoPlay?

Can you be more specific about your question? (I.e. What is the source of the video? What do you mean by "Download"? What app are playing videos?) There are several answers possible here according to your specific workflow.

    For example...

    1. Player QT 7 has a preference for "automatically read the sequences when open", but the X QT player does not work.
    2. Video files can have parameters of "Présentation" for "automatically play movie when opened", "enter full screen mode when opened ', 'Close automatically after playing' or 'Automatically leave after having played' drowned in that the 7 QT player will use for reading but the QT X player will ignore.
    3. Similarly QTL files have presentation options 'Autoplay', 'full screen', 'Loop', 'Quit' and 'Kiosk' when using under the QT 7 integrate the structure but not even open in the reader of X of the QT interval.
    4. On the other hand, browsers can use "FastStart" flags in the file or Web site programmers can code the web page in a perfect "Autoplay" setting that automatically triggers the playback of content online.

In short, there are many ways that a video can operate automatically and few can allow the end user to override this action according to the way content is created or which are distributed.

  • Premiere Pro won't unzip in Quicktime lossless

Here is a link to a compressed video clip produced by Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 via Media Encoder. The link takes you to a download page of Google Docs.

    https://docs.Google.com/leaf?ID=0b-ytQ6uGyvnPM2IyNWJhMjYtZDFkYS00NWU1LTlhZjQtNDczOWYwMjZiY WEy & hl = en

The problem is to know how to convert this file into an acceptable format for a bluray disc Replicator, which has also a bluray authoring easier.

The clip comes from a plu rendering of a length of more than 5 hours documentary. This clip is a little more than 20 seconds. He was cut by the largest documentary video produced by Media Encoder, the Cup was carried out using tsmuxer. This clip contains details of rich fine text fonts. When this is played on the PS3 the text reproduced very well and is readable. The problem is that the factory said that this compression codec is not supported by one of its software, so the documentary file can not be read and processed. He suggested decompression of quicktime or avi, its software that can read and process. When I unzip the text appear unreadable in Quicktime 7 Pro or Microsoft Media Player, as well on Windows Vista.

    Here are more details.

I made my documentary project using Media Encoder ' H264 Bluray". The factory says that Sonic Scenarist used for the creation of this compression States Media Encoder cannot be understood. It is not a valid stream bluray or any type of flow that Scenarist can understand. The factory also maintains that he can use Cinevision do any compression from uncompressed media.

    I have therefore 2 options.

First is to find a method of compression in Media Encoder that maintains the text as it is readable and that compression is readable by Scenarist and Cinevision.

Second continue to try to produce a file unzipped to Cinevision.

The nature of the clamp and the project is high definition PAL 1920 x 1080 25 frames per second, as I said this is supposed to be a bluray h264 video stream but is not, maybe BDAV, BDMV rather than and the former is only suitable for duplication not replication and replication is the only method for the reproduction of a commercial scale.

I also add here decompression Quicktime settings trying to get Media Encoder to decompress its own compression. So the output of the proposed amendment was then brought in another project of Premiere Pro, the sole purpose of the project is decompression.

    Download.html.png

It is in fact a copy of a notice on how to implement decompression. So ignore the file name.

The symptom of a bad decompression is that when I play the file in quicktime format uncompressed in Quicktime 7 Pro on Vista with hardware acceleration enabled in preferences and with maximum buffering of the text is therefore more readable. A snapshot of the video the compressed tiff is readable, so the compressed input file includes data here. Appearance corrupt in Quicktime is identical to one aspect of the freeze frame on the Playstation 3, that is to say that when I play the clip compressed on the PS3, the text is readable until end of clip that how the PS3 continues to show the end frame, the individual end frame is not readable but looks the same as the animated clip decompressed during playback to QuickTime. This may be a clue. Decompression may be actually OK but Quicktime just not anime images correctly.

Another point is that the compressed video does not correctly animate on the PC either, you have to play on the PS3 for it to animate properly. Then unzipped the files not recognized by PS3 avi and quicktime.

I tried various other cuts of Media Encoder for this part of the project, there is no other compression settings that keep the text legible, not that I can find.

I also tried to make the change directly in quicktime chilled out but that was a complete disaster, totally distorted Media Encoder documents that are displayed in the documentary.

The reason why I have provided the clip is so that you can download yourself and work directly on it yourself to test theories you have and to study its properties.

Good luck and thanks in advance!

  • Problems with render (Prem 11 items)

When I first import a clip in my project, the video quality is very good, but after I have make, he out craps, gets all grainy (the irony). How can I solve this problem?

    Sophie

    Part 1.

    Your Untitled.mp4 (turned)

    = AVCHD video compression

    Compression audio = AAC stereo

Frame rate = 60 progressive frames per second

    File extension = .mp4

Nominal value, it would seem that the project preset should be

    NTSC

    AVCHD

    AVCHD Lite 720 p 60

In the first 11 elements, the program takes control over predefined setting the project given of some composite properties from the first video file dragged to the timeline. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. In no situation, it doesn't give you the project closet preset for you, but rather by default, its default value

    NTSC

    AVCHD

    Full HD 1080i30

that does not correspond to properties of your video, including an interlaced 30 rate per second of the image instead of a 60 progressive frames per second an and including the size of the image of 1920 x 1080 instead of the size of your video 1280 x 720.  Why? It seems to be failing because it is having a problem with the frame rate. He is looking for a 59.94 to profile it and find 60 frames per second for your video.

When boil us all this down to a few words. In this case, you must assign the project preset manually.

First Elements ATR troubleshooting: PE11: accuracy of the project auto Preset setting (new project dialog box)

When you do, you should be able to import your video into the project NTSC/AVCHD/AVCHD LITE 720 p 60 without the orange line on the content of the timeline despite this company of 59.94/60.

    Part 2

When I import your Untitled.mp4 in a first elements 11 on Windows 7 64-bit project manually the value

    NTSC

    AVCHD

    AVCHD LITE 720 p 60

the video quality seems good reading in the monitor of the area to change. And it doesn't have the ability to make this specific because the program its color line on the line of the capacity indicator tells me that I have the best possible overview of content (to get a better view). And, I found good quality reading display full screen also.

Your Untitled.mp4 has a video bit rate (variable bitrate) of 5973 Kbps (kilobits per second in 5.973 Mbps. The size of the file is 41.0 MB).

If you export your video Untitled.mp4

    Publish + share

    Computer

    AVCHD

    with Presets = MP4 HD720p60

You should have a file whose properties are comparable to the source. The reading of this export of AVCHD.mp4 in the drive on your computer should be good.

If for export file size considerations are not a problem here, you can increase the export export video bitrate settings tab button/video forward of the preset looking for a superior quality export.

But, when all was said and done, I couldn't see not "grainy" before or after the reading of the Untitled.mp4 in the monitor area Edit. Export of this H.264.mp4 at no time looked grainy on playback in QuickTime player.

Please review and consider. The double project preset controls, in particular the "Force selected setting on this project' checkbox in the dialog box new project when you perform the manual setting of the preset project. Please let me know what additional tests you need for your samples.

    Looking forward to your results.

    Thank you.

  • How can I make my AVCHD mov. files of work first pro?

I used the Panasonic HDC-SD60 for a short film for the work.  This has on about 40 clamps with about 3 hours of footage however when I import files .mov from the audio media browser seems fine but the film is in a kind of slow-mo and out of sync. I want to change and make the post production using Adobe pro and AfterEffects first. However, the film seems to work in final cut X. There is no lag with playback on quicktime either. What is this project? I read on variable frame rates, it is seems more common among iPhones and tablets? Is this something that the panasonic do as well? Is there a solution? Or should I jump ship and settle for a somewhat more limited features of Final Cut?

Copy the card hard disk. Do not use iphoto or lightroom, but ingest directly in first via the media browser.

    See how it will work.

  • Video 'share' - more high quality, for importation in ProTools?

I have problems with the function 'share' on my Mac: I am trying to export high-quality video/audio off ss12 to continue work in ProTools.  The format, in that I work is directly from my camera the rx100 Sony (see screenshot which shows the format during playback in QuickTime 10).  If I choose 'get info' Codec appears as H.264, AAC, size 1920 x 1080.

As part of 'Share' I chose "Export for display on the computers files" - I guess that it is the highest quality.

    Formats to 'Share' I tried:

1 AVCHD - but this file could not be opened by my Mac.

2 MPEG - opens in Quicktime 10, but in QuickTime 7, there is no sound.  When I imported it in ProTools 10, there is no audio data.

3 QuickTime - ok imported into ProTools, but the aspect ratio is now 4:3 with a mailbox at the top / bottom.  I want my full-quality 1920, who came out of the camera.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If your video specifications source are HD 1440 x 1080 anamorphic 16:9, then the project or you set the project preset for

    NTSC

    AVCHD

    HD1080i30

When you export the Timeline with the source, then

    Publish + share

    Computer

    QuickTime

with Presets = NTSC DV 16:9

Click the Advanced button, and then go to the 'Video' tab in the export settings dialog box that appears.

NEC the H.264 video codec and then put the rest of the fields as shown in the screenshot. The goal is H.264.mov file (1920 x 1080 @ 29.97 progressive frames per second).

Included, I put a check mark next to limit data rate to 12000 Kbps (kilobits per second). You can adjust this value if you try to compromise between the bitrate (flow), the file size and quality.

Make sure that you delete any channel icon in the box to the right of the width and height fields so that you can type in not 1440 x 1080, 1920 x 1080. Note also the other parameters I put in place.

Be sure to have the latest version of QuickTime installed on your computer with Premiere elements 12.

Your first task should be to define what sustains this ProTools program and then we decide if Premiere Elements offers a such export. I'll leave the ProTools part up to you.

Looking forward to your follow up if you're looking for additional export opportunities for your exports of Premiere Elements. For any questions, or need clarification, please do not forget to ask.

    Thank you.

  • Question of gamma QT Motion Jpeg

I jumped to use CS3 to CS5, so that may have arisen in CS4 and everyone figured it out already.

I used to deliver files in QT Motion JPEG codec.  However in CS5 when I output in this format everything looks washed out as if there is a problem of gamma during playback in QuickTime or other editing software.  If I open this file QT back up in After Effects, it seems.

I do not use the color management, just an installation of out-of-the-box for the moment.

I went to deliver in the QT Animation codec which solves the problem, but the size of the file has been exaggerated for this project.

    Any help is appreciated!

Open your project settings and make sure that this gamma use inheritance is turned on. You can quickly get the project settings by clicking on the 8, 16, 32 bit option at the bottom of the project window.

I can't get the iTunes Music store to open on my laptop, it works fine on the desktop, so the account is active, also cannot get quicktime player or google chrome to work. I downloaded the latest version of itunes. I also can't open Internet Explorer after Windows update, if I uninstall the updates that it works very well. I tried the dns, clearing reset IE, redownload itunes and checked to see if itunes is turned on in windows defender. Hi mjres4cue,

    1. what windows update has been installed?

    2. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    3. you receive an error message while the accessingQuick time player, Internet explorer and Google chrome?

    4. What is the type of internet connection you use?

    5. do you have security software installed on the computer?

    6. are you able access Quick time player and Google chrome after uninstallation of the update?

I suggest that you check if the problem persists in mode safe mode with networking.

Steps to start in safe mode with networking

Note: Do not try the step below if you use wireless or internet Dialup Connection

    (a) restart your computer if it is running.

    (b) press F8 after your computer powers initially on.

    (c) once you see the menu Advanced Boot Options, you can stop tapping.

d keys) use the up/down arrow to select your selection.

    (e) select Mode safe mode with networking and press ENTER.

    (f) you should see loading drivers and wait please.

    (g) you should then be at the Welcome screen.

    (h) logon to your computer using an account with administrator privileges.

If the problem does not persist in mode safe mode with networking then I suggest that you perform the clean boot procedure.

It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

I suggest that you perform a clean boot and check.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    (a) click Start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.

    (b) If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password or click on continue.

    (c) under the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    Any advice?

Searched the forum for other solutions since handbreak is always hours of late.

"Interpret video" with fixed framerate seemed to handle the audio track somehow, but it's still desynced.
