• CC of Photoshop won't open PDF files...

  Since the last update (last night) CC Photoshop won't open PDF files...

  It shows an error stating "could not complete your request because of a disk error", but it will not open any PDF any disk, they are stored on.

  JPEG and PSD open correctly.

  Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit [SP.1]

  I7 - 3770K @ 3.90 GHz

  16 GB of ram

  • Try to create a new pdf file, see if you are able to save.
  • Once you have completed the steps above, and the PS will always open PDF files not try to reset the PS preferences.

  Chrome does not support protected files and forms. you need to open them in Adobe reader.

  I think that this address book updated file format some versions there are so the new version will read the old but not vice versa. You may need to convert the old to a newer version. I would like to know how to get you out and if necessary, maybe I can help convert your old version. In addition, address book can export into various formats, including the tab or delimited by commas as mmf. at least my adbook7 did. good luck once again,

• CC of Photoshop won't open

  I have a subscription to PhotoshopCC/Lightroom and Lightroom opens, but used Photoshop open. He has in the past, but not now.

  I just bought and installed a plug-in and wanted to use it. I had problems with the PS is not opening even before installing this plug-in.

  I tried to open it by the shortcut on the desktop and applications.

  After clicking on it, to open, at best, I learned only at the window of the intro to Photoshop. Then I have to sit and watch the spin reel for the next 8 hours.
  1) how to FIX this?

  (2) can I uninstall photoshop and reinstall without losing any plug-ins?

  PS My Mac is old... 2009, EL Capitan 10.11.4 version running all the updates are up-to-date.

  by restarting, I mean just to close completely from the computer, and then restart to reset the operating system. This could be due to the incompatibility between Photoshop and El Capitan. Many people have trouble with the upgrade to El Capitan on a lot of recent hardware. Often the only solution was to get off at Yosemite.

  Usually uninstalling Photoshop will leave intact plugins folder and when Photoshop is reinstalled plugins do recognize again. You can also make a copy of your plugins folder before you uninstall and then copy it back after you have reinstalled. Ideally, if a new installation of the plugin would be recommended.

  You have a scanner? Material generally causes problems with Photoshop. If you have a see if there are new drivers available for use with El Capitan.

• I recently bought a new Canon, downloaded an updated EOS and now Photoshop won't open my RAW images.  I tried several of the suggestions of others who seem to have the same problem but without success.

  Whenever I try to download an update it is said that it is not necessary.  I'm not as tech savvy as I noticed some of you all are but any help would be greatly appreciated.

  In photoshop cs6 go to help > about plug-in, click on the words of Camera Raw and see what version it says.

  If less than 8.8, try one of the linked below camera raw 9.1.1 installers then and I hope that your T6i files will open in photoshop cs6.

  When trying to open my version of 'Photoshop CC' I was unable and an error message reading: "program addresses do not, please uninstall and then reinstall the program. I did, but was unable to, then reinstall the program as it is more recognized than the fact that I have a subscription to creative cloud.

  What should I do to get my version of Photoshop back and working?

  We have four designers connected to a network server. All were able to open Adobe created files on the server with computers using OS 10.9.5. Two of us upgraded to 10.10.5 and now Photoshop and InDesign do not open files from the network server, or save files on the server - Illustrator and Acrobat will be. We can copy files from the server back to our offices. This sounds like a problem of permissions with Photoshop and InDesign, but do not know how to change. We use CC 2015 versions of the software.

  I use a Mac with OX X 10.9.4 and all of a sudden I could not open Photoshop. I had both CC and CC 2014 and neither would open. He begins to open, I get the splash screen, and then it just hangs. I get a system message saying that Photoshop quit unexpectedly. I saved this system notes if it's worth sticking here.

  I tried to uninstall both and I reinstalled CC 2014 from the bar of menus Cloud creatives, and the problem persists. I also fixed the permissions on the Mac and restarted the computer.

  Everything is okay I found a thread that helped. CC of Photoshop for Mac crashes everytime at the startup

  It seems as if it was the Nik plugins, unfortunately. I moved to them at the moment.

  Two things to try

  (1) hold down the SHIFT key, and with the key launch Photoshop.

  If Photoshop takes over then you have a broken plugin filter

  (2) press ctrl-alt-shift on command-option-shift Windows on a Mac. With the still depressed keys launch Photoshop.

  A dialog box opens allowing you to remove your preferences settings.

  Photoshop worked for me very well about a week ago. The only thing I have installed since that was a patch to upgrade for a game called Diablo 3. in any case, now when I try to open it, it almost closed my completely off monitor, almost. Any of the weak can be seen, I have memorized and managed to be able to hit my button 'Start' (Yes, I'm on PC - Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit) go over to my "switch user option" that will re - correct, then the problem with the screen, go back into my own admin user profile and there is photoshop. Now, here's the even more difficult part. I can click and select different tools on the side, but as soon as I try to open a new file, for example the size I want it to be, etc etc and the hit 'open' fair locks on me. All it does it like clockwork, wtf that is happening?

  This is much like a problem with a video card driver.

  Have you updated the driver from the website of the manufacturer of the GPU? (NOT Microsoft or system builders who have obsolete drivers several years)
