  Hello, I have a lot of customers who are located in the health sector, they have very dated material but we must keep the system state server and existing programs up to 20 years.

  I've virtualized successfully some of their servers using the converter and operate them on VM Server 2.0; things are impeccable and they know even higher performance and then on their old material.

  My question is this; VMWare Server is a sound archiving for instances of single server solution if a customer has only 1 server that must be kept for years, is interesting to use ESXi or ESX server purchase?  Do you think that any restrictions on the use of VMServer to host this virtual machine (for the next few years) so the client will use to read only purposes?  Is there another product VMware which will allow for read-only access on a network (Vm Player?)

  What are others in the health sector to help clinics with a single server?

  Thank you for all your comments on this, I'm using ESX server but with time in these situations, there is no way these customers will be hardware and software investments for 1 VM.

  For archiving purposes, VMware Server is a perfectly good option. Reader could also be used if you want to... You and the 'hosting' on which you store all this. It must be able to run the required number of virtual machines simultaneously.

  I now have one between 20-30 DVD

  I've recently upgraded to a new computer and I got a 1 TB HD and I want to improve my archiving system - I would like to take advantage of the features of search/keyword / archiving of LR

  How can I "re - import" (it's what I do?) all of my photos in a "catalog file of archive" who will live on the HD position? (IE, I'll have a 'LR WCB file"on my main HD - and a 'LR cat file archive' on the HD position)

  I have a feeling that its as simple as it sounds - but, if there are traps or special considerations, I wanted to ask the question to the community before I jumped in head first...

  It is absolutely useless. LR works easily with catalogs that contain thousands of photos. Some people work with catalogs containing pictures of 250 K.

  The size of the catalog, if you use the word in the sense of the database that LR works with, is not something that you have to worry.

  Re-importing photos in Lr, is not recommended, i.e. photos that are -currently - in the catalogue should not yet imported. By re-importing you would lose your changes - but see below.

  I suggest you to do this: in your operating system (Finder Mac / Win Explorer) copy the photos and the catalog file that goes with these pictures in a place where you want them to be (internal or external drive). First create a catalog completely new (to not spoil your current catalogue) by going to > file > new catalog. Then in Lr, use the functionality under > file > import from another catalog. This will import the photos in this catalogue and the changes will be preserved.

  But - because the location of the photos is different from when this catalog was created - you will find that Lr is the display of photos with question marks (in grid mode) and the files appear with question marks. Please add a link to the photos, see here on how to do this:

  You must perform this procedure for each CD/DVD, but with one difference: you would not create a new catalog for each CD/DVD but rather for the 2nd CD in the catalog is created for the 1st CD, etc. So ultimately all CDs will be combined into a single catalog.

  Usually, I put the address of the url in the guid. But now I realize account than some previous episodes the guid address was incorrect. I have read the documentation from Apple, and I understand that the guid can be anything, the only condition is that it must be unique in each episode. But if I go to the rss address and I click on the episode that the link goes to the address of the guid and not the rigid url, I don't know why. Documentation from Apple also said that I should not change the contents of guid:

  'Assign the GUID of an episode only once and never change. New GUID to existing episodes may cause problems with the placement of the list and chart of your podcast in the iTunes Store. »

  For a starting off of your "enclosure" tag does not contain a URL works: it must be a complete URL with the http:// and the domain name. What you have is a relative address, which will work on your computer. It is still your "guid" tag  As to your getting the URL of guid, I can't tell without being able to test the stream.   Your "title" tag is empty, where the 'no title' in iTunes. I can't advise on Powerpress but Shawngordo, who works for them, sometimes messages in the forum producing Podcasts and I asked guests to move this thread. (This forum is the best place to ask, on a podcast, you did yourself.)

• Latest Podcast episode not updated in iTunes

  For the first time our last podcast episode (we are on episode #18) it does not appear in iTunes - not even for subscribers, like me.   The only other thing I notice is my URL of mirror (that I found in the dashboard Podcast Connect) doesn't seem to be loading. My understanding is that it is the permanent URL of feed iTunes creates I can change my RSS URL feed without disrupting the subscribers. I have not changed my feed URL, but if if subscribers are feeding off the coast of this mirror URL and it does not work, it is the root of the problem? Not that I know how to fix the URL of mirror...

  With the new IOS, the Podcast app (your podcast app) has stopped working, they no longer updated correctly or they tell me I have a new episode of one of my subscriptions. Looking for my laptop there are at least three new episodes that did not and do not come through on my devices. I tried to turn on their and back, remove the application and then do a hard turn off on all devices, but nothing helps.

  I too have this problem but mine is on my iPhone 6 s.  I use my podcast app at least 6 times a day and it does NOT this morning.  Since the update of iOS10, the podcast app has had many problems.  But it's clearly the worst.

  iTunes does not synchronize my Apple podcast app, with my ipod nanos podcasts.
