-Pop-up certificate approved in Reader XI

I have deployed Adobe Reader XI for Windows7 with group policy and the Customization Wizard.

I noticed a pop-up when I run the Adobe Reader security.   Certificates secure your previous version of Adobe Reader have been found.  You want to import them?

Is there anything I can do to transform file to not display this message to my users?   Not sure if this is important if they import or use default is selected.

Our eviroment are mixed with XI Reader and Acrobat 9 and X.

Thank you!Adobe Reader Certs.JPG

Set the preferences of Adobe Acrobat Trust list as shown in the reference preferably.

  • How to avoid the pop-up dialog box? «Read File.vi worksheet»

    I use LV2010 and VBAI2011.

I use LV to write vi for the UI of my VBAI. VBAI will send the results of the inspection by "Inspection UI update"VI.

I call an "run a LabVIEW VI" go in the VBAI. This vi contains a subvi "worksheet Read File.vi." the "file path" entry to the subvi is a control of the chain, which will be updated by a value of string obtained in the previous steps.

What of happen when I run the Inspection, a windows "choose File to Read" will pop up, even if I already updated the "file path" in VBAI. I guess this happens because 'Reading of worksheet File.vi' sub - vi did not wait for the entrance of the "file path", or rather the updating of the "file path" was "too slow."

    How to prevent this?

  • create a digital identity and signature certificates approved as well as creation and appearance preferences.

How to create a digital signature from the identity and approved certificates area, but they use the image of my real signature rather than the suburbs generated text? It would be combining all upward for the certificates and the creation and appearance options.

Signing and trust certificates are generally different. Signing certificates are digital IDs and trust under certificates of trust. Although you can add a certificate to the signature of the certificate trust and there are cases where this is recommended, so that you will be able to use a certificate for signing (with key private and public) you must include it in the digital IDs. Most certificate in the approved identities have only the public key. Certificate without the private key cannot be used for signing.

  • How to sign a PDF file with a certificate using Acrobat Reader DC? It works fine in Adobe Reader XI.

Using Acrobat Reader XI I can sign a PDF document with a digital certificate. After the update to Acrobat Reader DC I can't understand how to do this. I don't see where I can sign with an image of signature mu, but how can I register with a certificate?

    Check

In the top bar, select "Tools". Check if the list of tools in the right pane has a 'Certificate' tool If he does not appear for the 'Certificate' tool in the list of tools in the main pane (you had to scroll down to get to her. The legend below should say 'Add '. Click on it. The 'Certificate' tool is added to the list of tools frequently used in the right pane.

Now that "the 'Certificate' tool is in the right pane, click on it." You get a new bar on the top that lists the operations that you can do with digital signatures. These are the same options you had in Acrobat XI when you clicked on filling sign & -> work with certificates.

  • Pages pop up if I start reading before finishing loading.

I found that someone has had a similar bug about 8 (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=292286) years ago, but obviously, firefox has since been updated significantly, then the patch (download Mozilla 5.0) is not more appropriate.
It only occurs on pages slow loading and only intermittently.

It is possible that some JavaScript runs on a specific page that changes the content or sets the focus to an element on the page and in this case there is probably nothing to do with this topic.

Is that what happens on long pages?

  • Adobe Reader security pop up in Adobe Reader XI

    Hello

I updated Adobe Reader 10 for Adobe Reader XI on a windows machine at work 7.

Once the upgrade, when you then load a PDF document, you get a message indicating:

    Title: Adobe Reader security

Body: Certificates approved for your previous version of Adobe Reader have been found.

    You want to import them?

All certificates that are not imported in this step will be unavailable in this version of Adobe Reader.

    Buttons: [Import] [default]

My questions are: what exactly is happenning here? What are these certifiates and how important is it's relatively safety? Is there a a way to package the installation files to prevent this pop up important certificates in silent mode during the installation?

I hope someone can enlighten us!

    Brent.

Certificates are used for digital signature and certificate security workflows. There is no reason to delete the files, and you should not unless you have a reason to do so. Their removal will not prevent the ability to view PDF files. However, any signature with a signing certificate that chains to one of these trusted root certificates will be invalid if the certificates are deleted.

Get the reference preferably who will talk to the trust list in Adobe Acrobat and you will give the parameters, you must disable the pop-up AATL.

BTW, the wizard can add and remove any file with the function of files and folders.

    http://www.Adobe.com/go/acrobatetk

    You need these:

bAskBeforeInstalling Specifies whether the trust anchors must be imported in silence or Acrobat must ask permission from the user.
bLoadSettingsFromURL Specifies whether or not trust anchors should be periodically downloaded from Adobe.
iCheckEvery The value in seconds during which the application needs to find new certificates to download from Adobe.

  • Certificate on controller anchor comments number

    Hi all

We have an anchor inside a demilitarized zone controller. The GW standart for customers is the virtual interface (in this case 1.1.1.1). because it's a site https clients must accept the certificate manually (we all know this problem..).

I work with the internal DHCP scope and also give them Internet DNS servers.

no idea how to get this installed certificate? I read that the IP virtual (1.1.1.1) got to have a DNS entry (in this case Internet DNS). It's bad enough, as we have several anchors in several countries, all work with 1.1.1.1. And also, this virtual IP address that is accessible from the internet to perform a DNS lookup?

Would be great if someone has an idea or already has some experiences.

    TIA

    Thom

    Thom,

The Virtual Interface needs an IP address is because a certificate cannot be issued to an IP address, it is granted FULL domain name. I have a client who is international where I set it up and I had to get their external DNS host (since they don't have a DNS server in the DMZ) to add a host for each of the controllers entry.  for example: WiSM1a.someplace.com has been reported to 1.1.1.1, WiSM1b.someplace.com pointed to 1.1.1.1, etc... you get the general idea. Then, you must take the device real certificate and the certificate of the intermediate range and combine them in a package of certificate required of the WLC.  This problem is much easier to solve if you have a DNS server in your DMZ that you control.

I hope this helps... Please evaluate the useful messages.

  • Windows 2000 SSL certificate export

    Hi all

I am trying to export the certificate SSL in Windows 2000 server that is running Cisco ACS 3.3. This SSL certificate is issued by a third-party CA. This certificate is issued by CA bound our server host name. Thus, this certificate can be reused on another server with a different host name.

I followed under the installation program to export the certificate since 2000 planter

[1] start > run > Type "mmc" and press ENTER.

    [2], click on Console > Add/Remove Snap-in...

    [3], click Add > certificate > add > computer account > next > Local computer > finish > close > Ok

[4] expand Certificates > expand Trusted Root Certificate Authority and select certificates

[5] select the certificate CA ACS, right click > all tasks > export > next > select ' encoded in Base 64 X.509 (.) REB)' > next > Browse

Choose the storage location and give it a name.

    Press next > finish

We should get a message "export was successful."

After the export of the certificate in the CERTIFICATION AUTHORITY folder ROOT of TRUST based on the name of the seller. I could see that the certifcates are self-signed certificate. This certificate is not valid certificate approved in the sound emitted by the CA.

My Question is: If this certifcate issued by 3 third party trust will be located in a different folder outside the ROOT of TRUST certificate folder. If the folder in which this certifcate trust will be so now.

    I'm checking the certificates of

  • Renewal certificate HTTPS in Cisco ISE

    Hello

A few months ago a renewed our certificate for eap. Now, I must renew the HTTPS certificate. ISE said that there will be a 'significant' downtime, the renewal of the certificate.

What exactly is this judgment? Cannot authenticatie users through EAP / RADIUS?  Or is that what the web interface? I can't find any documentation on this topic.

    Kind regards

    Michael Trip

The only downtime, you can expect the renewal of the HTTPS certificate is:

    1. for changes to HTTPS protocols, a restart of the ISE services is required, which creates a few minutes of downtime. You will not be able to access the GUI round 10-15 minutes.

    2. If you are using a self-signed certificates in a distributed deployment, the primary self-signed certificate must be installed in the approved certificate of the secondary server ISE store.  Similarly, the secondary self-signed certificate must be installed in the approved certificate of the server main ISE store. This allows the ISE server to mutually authenticate each other.  The deployment might break. If you renew certificates from a third-party certification authority, check if the root certificate chain has been changed and update the store of certificates approved in the ISE as a result.

Here is the document containing the same steps. I have highlighted for your convenience.
