Hello

I'm a big fan of my R400, but he has a problem, I can't get rid of that.

When I use it via evry 5 minutes wireless the done screen a total refresh of each window to reset the mouse in the middle of the screen. If I have a few windows open, it can take quitge seconds and almost never ends up on the window, that I am. Really annoying!

Any ideas how I can stop what is happening?

Concerning

Alan

In this case please proceed as follows:

-Update your operating system (Windows update)
-Update ALL your drivers (hardware drivers)
-Update your installed applications

Check if the problem persists, if yes, then does a full recovery of the system on your machine.

Please give feedback on your success.

Greetings

    Hello

    I'm not quite sure of what could be the problem exactly. There may be something wrong with the FL inverter, but it is my personal suggestion.
    To get a detailed fault diagnosis audit specifications would be necessary.

    > Is it possible to fix this screen to warranty service?
    If you warranty is valid that everything should be done for free just contact the ASP in your country and ask for later handling.

    The technician of the authorized service provider should be able to provide more details and should help you.

    How can I find my model number or product number?

    I understand that your screen is red everywhere where black pixels should be. You have opened the laptop to check the connections. You unplugged and replugged everything on the motherboard and reassembled.  Now, when you try to start Notepad, you see the computer turn on but the screen remains black or white.

    Here is a link to the HP - black screen troubleshooting laptops with no. Error Messages at startup or boot which should help to determine the cause.

  • Precision M4600 suite screen problem when it is attached to external DVI & VGA monitors via docking station

    I had a strange problem with my M4600 (Windows 7 x 64, Nvidia Quadro 1000 M GPU). Here's how to reproduce:

    1. Dock work station
    2. Connect at least 2 external monitors to the wharf, at least 1 connected via DVI and at least 1 monitor connected in VGA
    3. Select power management performance under Windows 7
    4. Change the power plan settings to set the screen turns off after 15 minutes (or any time)
    5. PC slowed down to allow the screen turns off
    6. Try to wake up the screen by moving the mouse or using PC

    You will notice that the external monitors wake, but the laptop screen is not. So far, the only way I was able to wake up the screen of the laptop is in closing, forcing so the lock PC screen appears on external displays. Unlocking the computer and then reopening of the screen wakes up at the laptop screen, but also causes a crash of the GPU from Intel, which is used to retrieve the OS on the fly.

    I had this problem with all the GPU drivers for my machine, than to Dell support for the own site WHQL drivers Nvidia. Anyone having this problem or know of a fix?

    Note that this bug does not occur when the laptop is connected to the monitor (s) DVI only.

    Not turning off"use graphics processor" in the Performance preference and restarting Photoshop have a bearing on the issue.

  • Portege R830 - screen problems

    HI -.

    I need some advice.
    You just bought a R830-138. Must say - I'm not too impressed with it so far [had a M300 before which was great - and it is about emerge I would like some advice on.

    When powered on battery or sector - and when the screen brightness down to one of the lower three levels - I follow the cursor on the screen - there is a soft fl1cker present.
    This only happens or the first seconds after I move the cursor - then it stops.
    It is then very well unless I leave the laptop only for a few minutes - then once again - I get the fl1ckering for the first few seconds when I move the slider.

    It is very distracting.

    I see that the latest BIOS [which I have not yet implemented] is supposed to heal a fluctuation when using an external monitor [obvously not the case with me].

    I updated the drivers from Intel screen [to the latest versions] - but again - no cure.

    When the screen is set to higher levels of light intensity - the fl1cker seems not to be there.
    However it may simply be masked by the greater brightness.

    I don't think my eye is particularly sensitive - but it's a terrible distraction.

    I wondered if it is a question of power settings - where the laptop is trying to be smart and to adjust the brightness of the screen/power automatically. So I have modified the standard settings [and renamed it]. I turned off the Toshiba eco utility. All with no success.

    Any ideas anyone?
    If it is a normal behavior - I'm not very impressed!

    PS. is - that someone at Toshiba can explain when I couldn't post my message of origin because of "profanaity". No present! Is that what I tried to use the word 'fl1cker '? [Note of the substitution of '1' for 'i'. Ridiculous!

    > When the screen is set to higher levels of light intensity - the fl1cker seems not to be there.
    > However it may simply be masked by the greater brightness.

    So in this case, I would say that this has nothing to do with the BIOS, show driver or other software.
    It is really hard to tell what could cause this flicker
    But the fact is that, for most (but not all) views the FL Inverter control the backlight and perhaps defective FL inverter causes this

    However, it is only the suggestion so I think you should get in touch with your ASP (partner) and a technician must check what that s my personal opinion

  • Portege R500 screen problem - some artifacts appear

    Hello world

    I bought the R500 at the end of August 2008 and from the beginning I had problems with my laptop screen.

    Indeed, after two days of use I see it on the screen an artifact as if something had hit.
    Of course not ;) so I called the support number to replace the notebook (less than a month after buying it).

    I get a new, and I checked the screen immediately. Perfect, no artifacts and everything seems to be good...

    But for 1 month (end of November), I saw again new artifacts! In fact, the artifact are really visible if you don't look at the screen perfectly in front of me. Indeed, in this position, the objects are less visible...

    So my first question:
    -Someone else you have this kind of problem?
    -I have to contact TOSHIBA support to replace my screen once more?

    ... It's really frustrating to buy a laptop more than 2000 at a society that says to had produced solid and have twice the same problem...

    Thanks for you comments and help...

    Hello

    I've got 3 different laptops Toshiba, but something like that never happened to me.

    I think you should contact the ASP from Toshiba (certified partner) and should ask verification of the laptop / screen again.
    It certainly looks like the issue of the material and the affected part must be checked and replaced.

  • Windows XP DHCP problem when authentication network enabled

    I have a weird problem with Windows XP. Here's a few of my observations:
    -Computer Lenovo X 61 does not connect to a wireless network with a network (that is, Shared/128 b/WEP) authentication. He can never get an IP address from the DHCP server.
    -J' checked the authentication settings. They work in another computer.
    -If I give it a static IP address (less good family), it connects to the router. However, it is very slow and flaky.
    -It connects to open networks.
    -In addition, if I have a wireless and a wired connection to the computer, the wireless connection gets a quick DHCP server address. If I disconnect the wired connection, the wireless connection works perfectly.
    I tried to reinstall the NIC drivers, apply all updates for Windows and Lenovo SW and looked at the values in the Windows registry. Nothing seems to help.
    Any ideas?

    Hello

    In the past, password WEP engines were rather flaky.

    Try using the HEX string instead of the password.

    Or switch to WPA. WEP does not guarantee these days.

  • WRT610N v2 distribute IPs when wireless security is enabled

    I got my wrt610n v2 for several months and it has worked very well.  But today, something happened.  When I could not get an IP address on the wireless, I reset it.  That did not help.  So, I have connected from a wired computer and spent several hours debugging.  What I've discovered, is that when wireless security is enabled the DHCP wireless no longer works (ALL the wireless security).  If I turn off security, the instant connection of all wireless computers.  Turn it back on, all clients will try to connect, but get no IP address.  (Yes, the security settings on clients are correct).  I do not use the 5 GHz, only the 2.4 for B/G.  Here are some things I've tried:

    1. reset to factory settings.  No change.

    2 reinstalling firmware.  No change.

    3. all types of wireless security.  They do the same thing.  Once activated, no more IPs get handed out.

    4. different SSID. No effect.

    5. remove all wireless network PC and their implementation from scratch.  The problem is not with the customers.  All machines (more my phone) have the same problem.

    6. different wireless channels.

    Other notes:

    -The router is properly broadcast the SSID when activated.

    -It passes both the type of security.  My laptop win7 will correctly identify the type of security and request the appropriate key/expression/whatever whenever security is enabled.

    -J' had the same SSID and WPA phrase for years and used for several months with this router with no problems.  So I know that security is properly configured on all my machines.

    Any ideas?  Right now I have a non-secure network set in place and it works fine.

    Just thought I'd give an update.  A new router hooked up and got the same behavior.  So that it reduces... should be environmental.  Later I thought about it.  A neighbour had stolen my SSID but not broadcast it so I couldn't see it.  All my devices were getting confused.  Choose a new SSID and bam, fixed everything.   I was not even using a default SSID.  I'm guessing they were putting it router for the first time and just picked up something they had seen before.

    EDIT > I tried different SSID as solution before (see the original post), but that has not worked.  I think that I also need a different channel.

  • Problems with wireless mouse when laptop computer HDMI is connected to a TV

    I have a HP Pavilion G series laptop PC, when I connect to the TV using the VGA interface I have no problem, when I connect to the TV via the HDMI so I have the problem. I use a Microsoft 2.4 ghz wireless mouse, laptop connected to an electrical outlet, new batteries in the mouse, if I move the mouse more than 1 foot of the tower top it becomes useless, erratic, moves 6 inches at a time, or not at all, totally out of control. The laptop is about 2 feet from the TV due to the length of the HDMI cable, and I am sitting about 12 feet out in front of the TV with the mouse. As I know, no problem if I find the mouse in 1 foot from the laptop and no problems even at 12 feet awy using the VGA interface. Production of mouse says that the mouse has a range of more than 20 feet. Someone has an idea of what might happen? Last note, I also lookes to the use of the processor at the time and it is only 8%. The mouse model number is 3500.

    Hello said,

    Thanks for the reply.  I'm glad that you were able to solve the problem by replacing the mouse.

    Good luck!

  • Problem when creating objects to the point user clicks on the screen

    I'll sometimes have a problem when clicking on the screen and have an object at this time created. 95% of the time it works properly, but sometimes, the object is created in a different area of the screen.

    Everyone comes across something similar? Or is it likely to be just a problem with the Simulator?

    Thank you very much for any help offered.

    If you want a "newLabel" to appear in the contact details of your mouseEvent, but only if details of mouseEvent are lower on the screen (having a higher value) at the height of your textButton.

    If your TextButton object does not touch the top of the stage (y = 0), you'll want to write this instead:

    if (event.localY > textButton.y + textButton.height)

    It may be a good idea to write it anyway, just in case you want to change the position of the TextButton.

    In addition, localX and localY properties of your mouseEvent are compared to the event containing sprite.  for example, if you have a canvas Sprite that is a parent of your textButton and is tuned for the mouseEvent.  otherwise, if there is no sprite contains (second phase) for your event, you'll want to use stageX and stageY instead.

    I guess since I can't be sure of your intentions here, but try this instead:

    private function createItem(event:MouseEvent):void
         {
         if (event.stageY > textButton.y + textButton.height)
            {
            var newLabel:TextField = new TextField();
            newLabel.x = event.stageX;
            newLabel.y = event.stageY;
            newLabel.text = "test";
            newLabel.setTextFormat(userTextFormat);

            addChild(newLabel);
            }
         }

  • Portege R400: How to enable the TPM in the BIOS

    I have the Porteg R400.
    The TPM is asking me to activate it TPM chip by setting the bios, but the bios setting there is not the activation setting.

    This means that it is not the TPM chip installed?

    Hello

    AFAIK the Portégé R400 supports the TPM chip, but it must first be activated.
    The special BIOS upgrade is required to activate this option.

    But it's a little tricky to my knowledge only the Toshiba certified maintainer can do that.
    So I would recommended contacting the service guy and ask a technician for more details!

    Do you know how to contact the ASP?
    On the Toshiba page you will find a list with ASP available worldwide.

    Check it ;)
