  Looks like you gave the ESX host a routable WAN IP and have it connected to the Internet, this is about asking for trouble. The ESX firewall is not intended to be used as a hardened firewall exposed for the scum of the Internet in the world. This will lead eventually to what colleagues in this post ended up with.

  You are limiting the remote IP addresses, but that host still has a routable IP address, which means people can push away at and see if they can sneak into the firewall.

  If you really insist on the connection from the host to the Internet directly with no in-between of hardware firewall, at the very least, install a virtual firewall on the host computer, give the NETWORK WAN card exclusively, give him a secondary NETWORK card next LAN of the virtual firewall on a separate vSwitch and move your management VMKernel sideways interface LAN (do not do this unless you have a secondary NETWORK card or you risk locking yourself from your own host if the virtual firewall fails for some reason any).   you try to connect to port 1935 and 100 on http port, you must connect to them via rtmp... .abolish port 100 fms.ini because flash player don't know how to connect rtmp over http using anyway. I personelly not have 1935 located in a development environment, because I have a webserver on the same machine runnning. Can I serv connected .swf apps over the net without a problem, that you only need to set port 80, when the user specifically blocks port 1935 with a firewall (rarely the case). so, since you are not in a production environment omit the port 80 and 100 of the fms.ini and connect through the rtmp Protocol, and everything will be ok.

• Windows Firewall works not

  I have a problem with the windows firewall.  Get a message that says: due to a problem not identified, windows cannot display windows firewall settings.

  Please help me with this.  I tried all the fixes I found on google and this site, and he always says the same thing.  I'm not completely computer savey, but still know some things and it still doesn't work.  Can someone please send a solution step by step for me.  I ran Malwarebytes Anti-byware and it took several trojans and viruses off the power.  I ran every scan that I can find on the Windows site and it says my computer is now clean, but it still happens.

• Need to change the com port number, but users do not have administrator rights

  Our users don't have administrator rights, however, there are a few pieces of software that communicates with the hardware using COM ports.  Since they don't have administrator rights, you may not click on advanced in the communications port to set the port to the necessary com com.

  I found reg hacks online that say will open the advanced screen to allow the com to be changed, but none that I've found work successfully.

  Can someone tell me the correct registry setting that I need to grant permission to in order to open the advanced under properties tro communications button and have the available com port number to change.

  On the spot, I can manage the firewall traversing when directly connected to the management interface. (Console works too).

  But I can't remotely manage the SAA itself! My config is attached. Any help will be appreciated!

  Since you have the 'management-access to inside' command configured, you will need to connect inside the IP interface when you access the device through a virtual private network, rather than the external IP address. However, you are also in the bug following in 8.4 (2):

  I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are in a really difficult situation that's going to be almost impossible to fix.

  First, there are the ways, if you have the Windows installation media, to repair missing system files - but you probably don't have that, and even if you did, your optical drive would have to work in order to be able to read the media.

  Second, you may want to restore your PC to its original state using HP recovery media, but there are two problems with this: (1) HP stores not more to your PC and your optical drive would need to work in order to use it (2) is a set of a DVD and a CD.

  To restore your PC to the operating status, you'll need to be able to start using Windows disc media.  One way that COULD work is if you use an external DVD/CD drive plugged into a port USB - but for this to work, your PC must be bootable (1) and (2) be able to boot from USB.  IF these two are not true, then you can not restore it - the way it is.

  Here are a few troubleshooting steps when your PC won't start - you can try them and see if everything works: computer won't start (Windows 7, Vista, XP) | HP® customer support

  Maybe something in this package of measures will work.

  I have dual boot Windows 8 and 13.04 Ubuntu on my laptop. For some reason, my USB ports doesn't work on Windows, but it still works on Ubuntu.

  I ran a convenience store in the Panel and has detected that there is a problem with my USB (Code 43) ports, but he has not tried to fix or something.   Trying to open the workspace planning application (version 11.1.2.1 hyperion) in port 19000, I get these errors:

  -Invalid or the configuration of the module 'HyperionPlanning.planning' is not found.

  -Required application module HyperionPlanning.planning is not configured.

  -503 service temporarily unavailable

  The application worked successfully, suddenly, it does not port 19000 but 8300.

  Could someone help me on this?
