Possible LAG SG500X 40G

Hello!

Is it possible to create a 40G to the S1 + S4 SHIFT swaps between two SG500X in standalone mode (without date)?

Thank you

I have not the ability to test what I have not modules SFP however based on the information in the Administrator's guide, so that all the Ports of LAGS have the same media type this should be possible.

However, if you use 2 switches SG500X it may be a better idea just to stack them.  (Granted that in my opinion, you might get only a max of 20G between the switches then).

  • Connecting two 6224 separate batteries best practices LAG?

    Hello

I wonder how I should configure LAG between two powerconnect 6224 batteries (2 x powerconnect 6224 by battery) for iSCSI against 4 members EQL traffic, I intend to use the 4 ports of each stack (stack cross-possible LAG on 6224?) and equallogic documentation leaves me in two minds when it wants to run LACP or not?

I wonder what reviewed best practices in this scenario?

Cross-stack, LACP and no PLEASE or am I better of without LACP?

    Thanks in advance

    Cree

The ports connecting the two piles together will be configured differently than the ports of connection of the battery to the EQL appliance. During the connection of the control unit switch EQL is when you might want to disable STP on that specific port.

«Do not use of Spanning Tree (STP) on switch ports that connect to the terminal nodes (iSCSI initiators or storage array network interfaces).» However, if you want to use STP or Rapid STP (preferable to STP), you must enable port settings available on some switches that allow the port immediately transition to PLEASE State reference to link up. This feature can reduce network interruptions that occur when devices to restart, and should only be enabled on switch ports that connect the nodes. "

With the network cards on the EQL devices according to me, there is only one active port, and the other is pending. So on the switch ports that are plug on the EQL will be in access mode for your iSCSI VLANS. Maybe someone more about EQL can chime to confirm.

  • Windows 7 Home group

Home between computers group automatically sends real-time input data? II have a desktop computer and lap top two windows7.

They do not seem to communicate too well.

    Hi billy,.

Thanks for posting your request. Yes, it's in real time. However, there are few things to consider:

    1. you are using a wireless internet connection? If Yes, to what extent are you router?
    2. how many computers are connected to collective housing?
    3. have you checked your Internet connection?

To check your network, you can run the Network Troubleshooter utility. For more information, click on here.

We must consider these things due to a possible lag time in your collective housing according to the travel time from the data and the speed of the network you have.

Let us know if you need more assistance.

    Kind regards
    Kem Lun

It seems that there is much more to the application just of ZLIB into a stream of /FlateDecode to decompress that is documented.

Does anyone know what I should do to make what follows-compressible by ZLIB? I tried both the regular InflateInit

and inflateInit2 with winbits =-15 and each possible lag adding the header string 10 plus usual character fall a few main characters. Given the fact that PDF readers can easily open this PDF, I need to know what they are doing is special and undocumented for this channel. BTW, I am able to open and read a lot of PDFs (including PDF32000 2008), this one has stumped me completely. FlateDecode beginning of strings with an 'h' or an 'x' - it usually begins with an x 90.

  • stack of sg500x - you can LAG stacking ports?

I have 2 questions to stack with the sg500x switch.  We have 3 of them.

#1 question - can we stack LAG two ports together, in order to increase the bandwidth of 20gbps cell?  I would like the width of band increased, and you can LAG the regular ports of 10G together but the manual and the admin interface user does not appear to support two connections cumulation between two switches.

question #2 - the manual says that you can configure all ports 10 4 regular ports or stacking according to the needs.  However, after digging a bit it seems that maybe it's a mistake in the documentation.  Elsewhere in the documentation, he mentions that by defining the configuration of the 'standalone' cell 2 stacking ports will be automatically retrieved as non-standard stacking ports.  Which explains how to get all the 4 configured as regular ports, but how do I set all 4 ports as stacking ports?  Of course, it does not matter with my setup if I can not LAG two ports stacking together.  My hope was to have 2 10 ports to each of the other 2 switches each switch.  Like this:

    Switch A S1 S2 & <->switch B S1 & S2

    Switch A S3 S4 & <->Switch C S1 & S2

    switch B S3 S4 & <->Switch C S3 & S4

    Hello Robert,.

    1. Unfortunately you can not DRAG stacking ports. The other port will be closed and act as a backup.

    2. I'll double check the documentation on this one, however, I can tell you that only a set of 10 G ports can be used as ports of the battery. As you mentioned, on its own, you can get back them for regular use.

Could I offer as a suggestion - if you are really ready to get the link of 20G, you could set all switches to standalone and use several shifts between them. This would add extra work that each switch should now be configured individually, but it would allow you to complete your design.

  • Satellite C50-A-1 - game "Star Wars: the old Republic ' is lagging

    Hello

I recently bought a Satellite C series. (C50-A-1 more specficly).
Problem is when I downloaded star wars: the old Republic, the game lags badly.

The graphics in the game are set in the lowest possible to minimize lags and yet I still get them. Here's some info of dxdiag, although they should be known for this type of laptop, I suppose that:

    OS: 64-bit windows 8.1
Processor: 2.13 GHz (2 CPUs) (Intel, Celeron)
    memory: 4096 MB
    DirectX 11

Please help with it as soon as possible thank you

Have you already checked the hardware requirements to play this game smoothly?

C50-A-1 satellite was equipped with an internal Intel HD graphics card.
This GPU is part of the Intel CPU and to be honest, this isn t graphics card designed for purposes of games.

To play games smoothly, you need a laptop nVIdia or ATI graphics cards.

  • HP 40GS systems of linear equation with parameters

    Hello

I'm in the learning curve of the HP 40GS - a very interesting tool.

Is it possible to solve systems of equations with parameters, for example:

    A * X + Y = 2 * 12

    5 * X - 3 * A * Y = 5

HP 50 g, this isn't a big deal, but with HP 40GS I don't have an idea so far.

If this is not possible, it will be possible if I have a third equation (so 3 equations in 3 unknowns)?

Thank you very much in advance,

    Joachim

P.S.: So far, I feel very comfortable with the HP 40GS and menus!

    ----------------------------------------
I am not a member of the HP Calculator development team - unfortunately!

    Hello

now, I found a way to calculate the systems of equations with symbolic coefficients:

See the document: http://www.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c00829737.pdf to page 346ff

With the command 'linsolve', it is possible to calculate with more unknown than equations.

I hope this helps anyone with the same or close problem.

Have fun with your calculators and do not hesitate to write other ways of calculations.

    Greetings,

    Joachim

  • Equium A200 lagging after Bios Update

    Hello

I have a question for an update.

I have an Equium A200 - 1VO PSAF5E with Vista Home Premium and it would not work on lan... after that I tried every update driver there who did not help I saw an update to the bios, so I tried the bios one.

Everything went well and it restarts when it restarts it lag (sticks) like crazy, I formatted and although he shifted after the restart installed during it sticks again every 3 seconds for a second about. Now when start of the crossbar for about three seconds, and glue the same as it does when the system starts finally.

I got the update again and he ran again, but he said I had this version so that it wouldn't continue. I now have version 2.10.

Is - it may be back to the version that did not have my laptop stick so or am that I stick with it like that until another flash of the bios is available?

    Thanks for any advice.

PS something I noticed was when I tried to reinstall that it went well until it was at the stage end and rebooted, then it shifted, apparently not trolling before then on installation. Ive treid set shape and do it several times, but it happens at the same point and lagging even once (sticks).

First of all I have to say that it of not possible to go back to BIOS version later because only the most recent BIOS is available on the European driver Toshiba page.
I don't very well but eventually the Toshiba m authorized service provider would be able to downgrade the BIOS to the earlier version.

However, the new BIOS that is found on the Toshiba age shouldn't t to worry.
In your case I would recommend you first access the BIOS and set the defaults.

I put t know if this can help, but a new installation of Vista OS could also be done. Upgrading from Vista, and then install all the patches.

  • Qosmio Q50 - game lag - is - this overheating?

    Hi all

I took a break from playing games for a few months to concentrate on my studies. I started playing them recently yet, but after about 10 minutes, really strong become fans (probably working at their full power) and the game lags insofar as it's unplayable. Fans can calm down and play normally again for another 5 minutes and then the same process occurs.

    The process:
1-> launch game and play for 10 minutes
2-> fans become very strong and the game lags significantly lasting about 1 minutes
3-> fans calm down and the game plays smoothly
4-> after about 5 minutes, that we go back to step 2

I was not used to encounter this problem, and I don't know why I suddenly feel it. My laptop is overheating? Why the lag game when fans are working to there more difficult and not when they work quietly? Would more appropriate that the laptop would go smoother when fans working hard because the system is expected to be cooler?

I could do to fix this?

    Hello

It might be possible that your cooling modules are clogged with dust and debris.
This could happen sometimes. That's why s fans advised to clean the cooling and cooling grids from time to time using a jet of compressed air!

In many cases this work and you help to avoid high temperatures and hard and fast running of cooling modules.

I do from time to time and it really works

  • A lot of lag and beach balls

I have the mid 2010 macbook pro - 4 GB ram, 2.4 gHz processor intel i5 and only using 175 GB / 320 GB disk sata hard.  This whip sees a lot of lag and spinning of the beach, given balloons to my router probably needs an upgrade, its only a few years and would probably add little ram if possible with this MBP (?).

Maybe the community has experience and expertise to share on how to improve the speed and efficiency? I caught a few console newspapers from when there was a GAL.  Here are links for the console logs:

    b. http://pastebin.com/4LyDPxFg

Somewhere in time between the logs and b, I have deleted the DivX file in/Library/Application Support / and uninstalled Virtual Box, which was used to run Windows a few months for a project, but have not used since so a little cleaning it.

Thanks in advance if you are generous and kind enough to take a look and offer advice. See you soon!

    1. the present proceedings is a diagnostic test. It doesn't change anything for the better or worse and therefore, by itself, will not solve the problem. But with the help of the results of the tests, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.

The test works on OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later versions. I do not recommend running it on older versions of Mac OS X. It will do no harm, but it will not do not much good.

Do not be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You make the tasks more complicated with the computer all the time.

    2. If you do not already have a current backup, please back up all the data before doing anything else. The backup is needed on the general principle, not because of what anyone in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you encounter any kind of problems with the computer, you can be more than the usual loss of data, if you follow these instructions or risk not.

There are ways to back up a computer that is not fully functional. Ask if you need advice.

3 here is instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it doesn't change anything. It does not send or receive data over the network. There is no to generate a report on the State of the computer human readable. This report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents for me or someone else.

You should ask yourself if you can believe me, and if it is safe to run a program at the request of a foreign national. In general, no, he's not sure, and I encourage it.

In this case, however, there are ways for you to decide if the program is safe without having to trust me. First of all, you can read it. Unlike an application that download you and click to start, it is transparent, anyone familiar with the code can check what it does.

You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of it have been posted on this site several times over a period of years. One of the million registered users to have read the script and set off the alarm if it was dangerous. Then I wouldn't be here now, and you would not be reading this message. See, e.g., this discussion.

However, if you cannot satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, do not follow them. Ask other solutions.

    4. here is a general summary of what you need to do, if you decide to go forward:

☞ Copy a particular line of text to the Clipboard.

☞ Paste into the window to another application.

☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.

☞ Stick the results, which will be copied automatically, in a response on this page.

These are not specific instructions; just a glimpse. The details are in parts 7 and 8 of this comment. The sequence is: copy, paste, wait and paste it again. You don't need to copy a second time.

    5. try to test in conditions that replicate the problem, to the extent possible. For example, if the computer is slow intermittently, run the test during a downturn.

You may have started up in safe mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works pretty well in normal mode to test run, restart as usual before running it. If you can test only in safe mode, this.

    6. If you have more than one user and a user is affected by the problem, and the user is not an administrator, and then run the test twice: once under the affected user and one administrator. The results can be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer, when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you are unable to log in as an administrator, verify that the user concerned. More personal Mac have only one user, and in this case this section does not apply. Don't log in as root.

7 load the linked web page (the site "Pastebin.") Press the combination of keys command + A to select all the text, then copy it to the Clipboard by pressing command-C.

    8. start the Terminal application integrated in one of the following ways:

☞ Enter the first letters of his name in a Spotlight search. Select from the results (it should be at the top).

☞ In the Finder, select go utilities ▹ of menu bar or press the combination of keys shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.

☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.

Click anywhere in the Terminal window to activate it. Paste from the Clipboard into the window by pressing Command + V, then press return. The text that you pasted should disappear immediately.

    9. If you logged in as an administrator, you will be prompted for your login password. Nothing displayed when you type. You won't see the usual points instead of the characters typed. Make sure that caps lock is turned off. Type carefully, and then press return. You can get a warning to be careful. If you make three unsuccessful attempts to enter the password, the test is still running, but it will produce less information. If you do not know the password, or if you prefer not to enter, just press back three times at the password prompt. Yet once again, the script will run.

If the test takes much longer that usual to run because the computer is very slow, you can be prompted for your password a second time. The permission you grant by entering it will expire automatically after five minutes.

If you are not logged as an administrator, you will be prompted for a password. The test will run. It just will not do anything that requires administrator privileges.

    10. the test may take a few minutes to run, depending on the number of files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that is abnormally slow may take more time to run the test. During execution, a series of lines is displayed in the Terminal window like this:

        Test started
            Part 1 of 4 done at: … sec        …        Part 4 of 4 done at: … sec
The test results are on the Clipboard.
        Please close this window.

The intervals between the parties will not be exactly the same, but they give an approximate indication of progress.

Wait for the final message "Please close this window" appears. If you don't see it in about 15 minutes, the test probably won't be all within a reasonable time. In this case, press the Ctrl + C key combination or the point command to stop it. Then go to the next step. You will have incomplete results, but still something. If you close the window of the Terminal, while the test is still running, the partial results will not be saved and you have to start over.

    11. when the test is completed, or if you have stopped it because it was taking too long, leaving the Terminal. The results have been saved to the Clipboard automatically. They do not appear in the Terminal window. Please do not copy from there. All you have to do is start a response to this comment and then paste it again by pressing Command-V.

At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words «Start time.» If you do not see that, but rather to see a mass of gibberish, you wait for the message "close this window". Please wait and try again.

If personal information, such as your name or e-mail address, appear in the results, make anonymous before posting. Usually it will be not necessary.

    12. in the validation of the results, you see an error message on the web page: "you have included content in your post that is not allowed", or "the message contains invalid characters." It's a bug in the software which manages this website. Thanks for posting the results of the tests on Pastebin, then post here a link to the page you created.

If you have an account on Pastebin, please do not select private in exposure menu to paste on the page, because no one else that you will be able to see it.

    13. This is a public forum and others can give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak for themselves, not for me. The test itself is harmless, but what're told you to do maybe not. For others who choose to run it, I do not recommend that you view the results of test on this Web site unless I ask.

  • After upgrading to IOS 9.1 my iPad2 crashes constantly and Safari takes more than 30 seconds for the loading of the page.  When Apple will solve these problems, given that the downgrade isn't possible?

After that the IOS upgraded to 9.1 on my iPad 2, the unit has switched navigation performance and each app is lagging, and then crashes the device, to be hard restarts.  Changing such settings recommended in many articles does not improve these problems of performance or speed.  Given that the downgrade is possible, when Apple will release 9.2 to solve all these problems of performance?

These are performance problems widespread in the complaints I've seen on many articles, even in this community and discussion forums.

    Uh, no.

iPad 2 questions are far from "widespread".

Each user who has problems with their brand of Apple devices claimed that their problems are widespread disaster.

users of iPad 2, 3 and 4, like me, don't post troubleshooting forums if their iOS/updates updates update succeeded.

Here are my updated list of corrections suggested for a model slow iPad 2, 3 or 4.

Try to reset all the settings in the settings under general app and in the right column under restore.

Try stories reset and delete/reset the caches in all web browsers you use.
If you use Safari, these features may be in the application settings under Safari.
Other browsers have their settings inside the running application itself.

If your iPad has been activated for iCloud, in the application settings under iCloud, to the right, under iCloud Drive, type in iCloud drive and make sure that Safari is off to save data from Safari to iCloud by car.

Also, under iCloud in the application settings, in iCloud Drive, turn the feature off saving for all other desired apps DO NOT the data automatically on iCloud drive.

If you are using Safari is always causing issues.
Try changing / using web browser third another, different.
I do not use iOS Safari too much more because I found it cause me headaches on some Web sites, regularly, to visit.
I commonly use another third party browser, perfect browser (there are others that can suit your style better web browsing, so look all first to see what third-party browser may work better for you) and I have never experience many questions that Safari was originally.

In the application settings tab general, right under the spotlight sesrch, try disable the search under the applications who really don't need a research, as some games, remote controls, apps that are really useless to be searched, etc., in order to reduce the list to Spotlight search.

Try to turn the reduced movement.
This is found in the application of settings in the general tab, in the left panel.
In the right panel, look under accessibility, look to reduce the Motion and turn this feature "On".
You should see a significant performance increase on all models of iPad 2, 3 and 4.

In the application settings under the general tab, in the right column, search background App update and enable this setting to "off".

Try a reset of your iPad by simultaneously pressing buttons Home and sleep/wake button until your iPad goes to the dark and restarts with the Apple logo, then release the buttons.

  • Spectrum x 360-13-4003dx: mouse Lag!

So, I use my laptop anchored much and I keep getting a HUGE mouse lag when you run a program or the two (e.g. MS Word and Firefox). I tried using my dock usb 3.0 docking or just plug my monitor via HDMI so I think that I removed the USB key as a possible limitation facor here. Doesn't this sound like the laptop suffers from problems of load, or simply bad MS drivers for my mouse (FYI it's a MS mouse).

OK, so I called HP customer care today and the phone said to go online and create a ticket. So I went online to create a ticket, and he told me that my ONLY option was to call. It was 10 minutes of lost...

So I called again and talked to a woman who has been kind enough and understood my problem. After booting into recovery mode and play in the menus that we seemed to be sure that the equipment works fine as I had no lag in these menus, so it must be a software problem. Because I have all the Windows updates and all updates via the HP Support Assistant installed, the only option that I was with was to factory reset my computer. Obviously I did that, I didn't lose my files.

So, I paid a private company in the region. $100 and three minutes later, I uninstalled the Synaptics drivers and everything works.

I am happy that my computer is works better, I love the computer, but quite upset that HP is unable to provide support for their own equipment and I had to go elsewhere for this support.

  • 60 seconds Lag Spike Vista

Anyone know if microsoft has released a fix.

For those who do not know the question.  First of all, I have disabled wireless.  During the game, as every 60 seconds vista looks for a better connection, however doing so creates a huge lag spike.  That becomes very boring.  I tried a few suggestions online, but none have worked.    Anyone know if microsoft is aware of this and if a fix is coming?  I really don't think as d/l xp drivers.

  • WHY ICS updates lag?

    Hello Sony,

I've recently updated the Xperia Arc S, at ICS 4.0.3 Update published by Sony. I was on 0.62 previously, and a factory reset as well until after the update. Transitions lag, led me to do a repair of phone also. The LAGS have become less, but it isn't smooth at all. no where near GB.

I just wanted to know the reasons for the problems...

Please tell us if its one of the following options, or something else:

    Case 1:

The update is not supposed to be laggy at all, that test here at Sony features work smoothly.

Request: Please download a video of the final ICS update (similar to the videos beta), to show us what we can expect maximum fluidity. Also, if possible, give us a procedure step by step, how to upgrade our telephone, to get the best possible performance out of it.

    Case 2:

The Rom of the ICS is heavy resource demanding, and it won't go any smotther.

2.a - case: none of the updates will solve the problem

2.b - business: the next updates will solve the problem, as the ICS later releases by goolge are beter in terms of resources management

PS: The CM9 (based on interim certificates), ran very smooth on the Galaxy Ace (tried it myslef). The HTC a V, ICS tracks enough smooth (not as much as GB Xperia, but better than Xperia ICS)

    Thank you.

    Rick

    (Waiting for a response)

I will pass your request on getting a 'final' video on the new versions of software.

With regard to your request - I don't know why it is lagging if/when it lag.

Hope that more recent software can solve this problem. I should mention that it has not been any official communication on the forthcoming software however. I can't confirm the content in the message to Anthony at this stage.
