Potential bug

I have compiled a .NET class as a COM object and I am able to instantiate all possible implementations including JScript;
When I instantiate the object through coldfusion using the following:

< cfscript >
tApp = CreateObject ("COM", "Slon.HistoricalPrices");
tApp.AutoImport = true;
tApp.ToString ();
< / cfscript >

It instantiates the object and sets the property .NET true however when executing a public in the same implementation ToString() method, it throws an error "the selected method ToString does not found." correctly, it throws this error for all the public methods. It works fine if I comment out all references to public methods.

Version of JScript in the same code works:
tApp var = new ActiveXObject ("Slon.HistoricalPrices");
tApp.AutoImport = true;
Alert (Tapp.ToString ());

I was able to remedy

tApp = CreateObject ("COM", "Slon.HistoricalPrices");
tApp.AutoImport = true;
tApp.ToString;<----- calling="" method="" without="" parenthesis="">

Is this a bug? I've always seen the empty method implementations called with parentheses all

    It seems that there may be a bug with the appellant and managing network paths

    The alert (path) indicates the path is correct before being sent to exportAsFinalCutProXML, as shown below:

    And then, at the time where he calls the seq.exportAsFinalCutProXML (path) and disable the deletion of the user interface, it warns with this:

    badAlertAfter.PNG

    Showing the path is oddly get interpreted. I can do a temporary fix using external processes, but this is not the first time I encountered this bug and it seems to be a real bug. Do the same thing in Extendscript produced unfavorable results.

    It is worth noting that giving it a local path does not produce these results.

    As you found, exportAsFinalCutProXML() exits with success to paths; Subsequently, copy this file wherever you want.

    The last file on the list would be what you want to try...

    Insofar as a replacement card, I don't know if your model has this feature of white list of BIOS.

    If this is the case, you wouldn't be able to install one of the cards described in Chapter 3 of the manual of your PC and they must have the part number HP on it or it won't work.

    If the laptop was made last year or so, you can probably install any wireless card you want as it appears that HP has done away the white list of BIOS locking not wireless cards supported.  See the thread below...

  • Z10 Z10 Possible blackBerry notifications bug?

    Hey developers Z10, I noticed this potential bug regarding your notifications on my phone. If I put only mode for "Phone calls" he still sounds when you send and receive text messages. The chime will disappear if I disable all alerts or set it to silent, but otherwise there is nothing in between. Not too practical for the workplace as I would like to receive my calls, but does not bother my colleagues with each text message sent and received. Not sure if it's just my phone, but I think that everything is up to date and my phone is new.

    I also noticed that the chimes for my text messages under 'customization'-> 'applications' is different I hear the tone delivery/receipt of messages.

    If I'm going to be a noob and have not configured properly, please let me know - otherwise, I hope that this problem is corrected. Thank you!

    Similarly, I have never seen this on SMS messages. Also, why would he chime when you "send" a message? You have 3rd party applications installed that could contribute to this?

  • HP 8720:8720 install windows 'communication error' 10

    Good afternoon

    I want to install a HP 8720 via ethernet. I can see the printer during the installation of the software, but when I choose to go to the page for installing the software, I get a message telling me communication error.  I disabled the firewall of the window and can't seem to get the printer via eprint.

    Good afternoon diameter,.

    Thanks for the quick response.

    What I found is what seems to be a potential bug in the software install. When installing (ethernet connection), the software asks you see your printer - what I'm doing. However when I click on the printer to continue the installation, I get the error message "cannot communicate with the printer. I found that if you close this window and ignore it, you can proceed normally configure the printer with no problems at all.

  • HP 7520: HP 7520 will not connect to the wireless network

    There is some additional information to

    http://forums.Xfinity.com/T5/home-networking-router-WiFi/HP-7520-will-not-connect-to-wireless-networ...

    on this issue.

    Have several APs for a single wireless network allows the printer foolish law.  (Not a Repeater, a second AP connected to the local network with the same configuration of network for security, etc.).

    I solved this problem.  In accordance with the discussion on the link, the problem is that the printer cannot connect to a wireless network if there is greater than 1 for a wireless network (SSID) name wireless access point.

    This thread has had several useful suggestions, but what finally solved the problem, it's the second point has access to a mode where I can create a 'virtual' access point and, above all, a SSID associated.

    Note that not all access points or routers support virtual APs, but this function seems to be more common over time.  Older models is not able to do that.  However, a new access point is sometimes cheaper than a new printer.

    If you do not understand the jargon in the procedure below, I recommend that you find someone who does, then they can do it for you.

    Solution:

    1. On one of the wireless access on the network, create an a new virtual AP with a slightly different name SSID (for example < name of the network - > _1), on the same VLAN (usually VLAN 1).  You may need to put the AP in "multiple AP mode" or something similar, and then restart the AP.  All other settings (DHCP, security, mixed mode b/g/n, etc.) must be the same for the new SSID.
    2. Run the printer Wireless Setup and connect it to this new SSID
    3. Confirm that the printer can be seen by other devices on the network

    Tips:

    • Check the security is the same as the original SSID, Alternatively you can create a vector of insecurity in your network.  Do not WEP-128 when the other SSID uses WPA2 AES, for example.
    • The AP I had had several resets to make it work because of the mode and parameter changes.
    • If you connect the SSID but cannot connect to or be seen by anything on your network, check the new SSID/AP is in the same VLAN as the original.
    • Because the printer is not roaming, and the speed is not a problem for me, I used the access point that could support this solution, which is deeper and slower than my primary AP.  I have not noticed any problems.

    The printer has been reliable on the wireless now on the new SSID, 48 hours.

    I have not upgraded any software on a client of the printer (PC, Mac, phones).

    I think that it is a positive confirmation that the problem is with the implementation of the printer of the stack of network and not with the driver or client software on remote devices.  The 802.11 protocols provide for a network name (SSID) wireless with several access points using different MAC addresses.  I suggest this HP look into this as a potential bug with their network printer for the 7520 protocols stack.

  • "An insufficient number of calibration points function" in the calibration to learn?

The VI of the sample provided by the first poster, http://forums.ni.com/ni/attachments/ni/200/10279/1/Reference_Points1.vi, does not work for me either.

    My setup is LV9 on winXp32, image of 640 x 480 8-bit grayscale. What I try to do is not the subject of the post, the potential bug is.

    Can anyone provide a working example? Calibration samples included in the finder of the example use calibration grids, not of few reference points AFAIU.

    Thanks in advance, Enrico

    After a little experimentation with the VI provided by the first poster (attached my small change), I realize account of the calibration point of view seem to need a minimum of 5 points, while non-linear required a minimum of 9. So, there is a bug in the documentation. This can be confirmed?

  • Can't RDP to Windows Server 2012 R2 Azure VM

    After a potential bug on the blue fabric blue, I lost the ability to connect to two separate Azure VM.

    Initially, they don't even start. I had to move the OS VHD to virtual machine resumed, run a fix on startup files and then replace the virtual hard disk.

    Now their initialization, but trying to RDP, it is just a black screen.

    I am able to UNC path to the file system, then I copied the *.evt (Event Viewer) of logs to the wide one of the virtual machine.

    I see something about immediately, in the section of the observer Application events:

    Name of the failing application: LogonUI.exe, version: 6.3.9600.17415, time stamp: 0x5450541b
    Name of the failed module: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.3.9600.17415, time stamp: 0 x 54505737

    There is more to this, but these are the main lines. I have a feeling that this could be the cause of this black screen problem. I have not all backups of virtual machines.

    Is this a problem that can only be fixed by an engineer of azure with host access? Does anyone have any comments about this? I'm enough options.

  • Embedded Python import questions (numpy, scipy, h5py) in release mode

    Background:

    I'm working on a scientific application that uses numpy/scipy (Python modules) in the backend for the calculation and h5py for data collection.  My application consists of a layer of UI in QML/C++ calling an embedded digital computations Python interpreter.

    I have compiled successfully cross - the following libraries:

    BLAS, LAPACK, HDF5, Python3.2, numpy, scipy and h5py

    The application under app/native directory structure is as follows:

    + assets

    + qm

    + usr

    + include

    + lib

    + pkgconfig

    + python3.2<- numpy/scipy/h5py="" exists="" within="" the="">

    libblas.so

    libgfortran.so.3

    libhdf5_hl.so.8

    libhdf5.so.8

    liblapack.so

    libpython3.2m.so

    libpython3.2m.so.1.0

    libpython3.so

    So far, I am able to run my application in debug mode and was able to import various Python modules (including plug-ins) without any problem.

    Problem:

    As I approach of realization, I started testing in release mode and noticed the following:

    (1) loading external libraries that are formatted in the works of the file bar (ie: I'm able to call BLAS/LAPACK Fortran libraries HDF5 routines).

    (2) run the Python interpreter works integrated (in the main thread or in a separate thread)

    So, I am able to confirm that the external libraries and the Python interpreter running in release mode, as well.

    Problems occur when I tried importing Python modules:

    (3) import builtin Python modules/packages works without problem

    (4) import of modules/packages with relative path fails.  Example, if I run the command:

    Import numpy

    This works in debug mode but not in release mode.  After further review, it seems that when importing packages, any import with relative path statement will fail.  In release mode, the example above does not have:

    Of. import scimath as emath

    However, the following statement works:

    from .scimath import *.

    I have two questions:

    (1) no assumption whether it is a problem of Python, is a matter of output mode?  I'm leaning toward release mode because the same application runs in debug mode.  I also looked at the python source code and could not see nothing esoteric files IO operations.

    2) based on the observation, it seems that relative paths are handled differently between the Debug and Release modes.  Could someone tell me please to some documentation explaining the differences?  And if there is no such thing as these documents, may provide a brief summary?

    Thank you

    Josh

    Ok.  I think just, I solved my problem.  I will list the observations of first and then another solution that could be useful to someone in a similar situation.

    Bottom Line Solution (if you don't want to read more):

    Apparently, I have compiled my LAPACK library with extended precision of point floating (128 bits) that are not supported on the Cortex A9.  I recompiled LAPACK with double precision.  Running and the import of the application in release mode now works.

    Interesting observations:

    At first, I thought that the dynamic library release mode handles loading differently than the debug mode, because during development, I never came across questions.  As a result, I decided to directly link all libraries that numpy using in my application (even if the application does not use them).  Compile and link all are perfect, but of course, during execution, the numpy failed to load module.

    So I decided to run it in debug as a validation test mode.  Surprisingly, the application will fail at the binding stage!  It gives symbols not try to call the extended precision of the XBLAS library routines (which, as mentioned previously, does not work on the Cortex A9).  At this point, I'm completely flabbergasted that I've been running the application using LAPACK in debug mode without ever seeing this message for almost a year.

    I wondered how is this possible?  I also use the linear algebra of scipy module, calling LAPACK/BLAS routines without problems during development.  In debug mode, I never see this failed or any message indicating that there are unresolved symbols in my the LAPACK library.  In addition, I cross check all calculations against MATLAB/Octave and they are correct.

    Conclusions:

    Here are my conclusions, and if a BlackBerry person can confirm, I'll be very grateful:

    (1) in the mode of publication, the dynamic linker will check each symbol in a shared runtime library.  If no symbol is not resolved regardless of whether your application is used or not, the library of loading will fail.  This does not work in debug mode.

    2) there is a potential bug (not sure) in the linker which also behaves differently between the debug mode and release mode.  In debug mode, the linker cannot link a shared library if no symbol cannot be resolved despite the executable not referencing them.  In release mode, the linker will not FAIL.

    If the two above are met, then I would make a suggestion to change behaviors such as build step and run step behaviors are aligned between them.  Please let me know if it's intentional or if I should file a bug report.

    Thank you
    Josh

    PS: Btw, I also built a Fortran cross compiler in case you're wondering how I managed to compile the BLAS and LAPACK for BlackBerry.

  • APP crashes when closing a screen, loses focus and said having no screens

    I'm learning the basics for development of Java for BlackBerry, the version I use is 6 SDK.

    While working on an example provided in my workplace, I came across a bug that causes the app freeze and stop to respond to user input after the closure of a screen. The console output showed a message saying:

    Application in the foreground * lost focus because it has no screens.

    which is weird, because a screen again. After that without this intervention can be made with the soft, I'm only able to hold the button menu to select go to the home screen, but if I try to enter the app is still frozen in the last window, I even rebooted the device and the app has remained the same (I do not know if this kind of persistent behavior is normal in the development of BlackBerry).

    Just uninstall and then reinstall the soft manages to "solve this problem."

    I checked the sample project and there is a class called ScreenManager which is implemented to manage the screens shown on the app. He keeps a vector of the stack of the current screens are displayed. This class is mainly used to manage paths inside the application, for example if I executed the action j Screen C, rather than return to Screen B, show screen F.

    Each class that extends the screen has its onClose overloaded method:

    public boolean onClose() {}
    ui.getSm () .back (null);
    Returns true;
    }

    to call a function named return on this class of ScreenManager, which checks the current state of the stack of the screens, if the vector object has only one object, then a dialog box asks the user what to do, if you close the application or stay in the app. Where there is more than 1 screen in our vector object, then simply call the method that executes the anti-pop call:

    {} public void back()
    If (pageStack.Size () - 1 == 0) {}
    a single screen in stack, see the dialog box asking if the user wants to close app
    choose int = Dialog.ask (Dialog.D_YES_NO,
    ui.getRb () .getString (IU. EXIT_YES_NO));
    if(Choose==Dialog.Yes)
    {

    System.Exit (0);
    }
    } else {}

    Method that handles the anti-pop call and removes the current screen of our vector object
    popPageStack();
    }

    }

    The popPageStack method looks like this:

    private void popPageStack() {}
    pageStack.removeElementAt (pageStack.size () - 1); remove the object that represents the current screen
    UiApplication.getUiApplication () .popScreen (UiApplication.getUiApplication () .getActiveScreen ()); remove the current screen of the application
    }

    Because this entire logic is called when fires the onClose method, I do not understand how I can "run out" of screens, especially since the console is saying there are not and a screen is still displayed.

    What caused this problem in the application? Is it posible to pop the entire screen in the application and still be in the app?

    EDIT

    I did a little test of my own project and placed a menu item when you press on removes the only window I have and the behavior I described above is checked.

    For some reason any test project, I am student pop all of its screens when you press return, but I don't understand how is it still possible. What I am pressing too fast back button and it is somehow triggering several persistent organic pollutants?

    The situation you described happens when you last screen of pop on the BlackBerry 'view stack' but does not close the application.  Thus, the Blackberry operating system still tries to display something for the application and which is usually the last screen was displayed. However this isn't a real screen, so there is no interaction, like indeed the application has hung.  There no, there just no screens.

    Now, you are going to say that can't happen because you keep track of the screens in the stack.  But sorry, I would say that this is what is happening and there is a bug in the management of battery screen.

    In my opinion, it is a potential bug in the management of your stack.  I think you should recover the real of the Vector and pop screen than the screen, not that active.  You can also check to make sure that the screen that you are appearing is active.  Then allows you to detect when the battery of the screen that you have is not synchronized with the BlackBerry screen battery.

    I don't know why your application is now its own stack of anyway, given that the Blackberry has a display of the battery itself.  You can browse the BlackBerry screen battery using getActiveScreen(), then getScreenBelow().
